Tony ran into Natasha and Clint first, right as they were leaving Fury’s office. “Loki’s up again, he’s doing better, but I think it’s time we both go back to the tower.” He said lightly. “Mind getting the jet ready?” he added, looking between the spies. Smirking as Fury came to the door, having heard them, he shook his head. “And I’ll take Pepper with us. Honestly, for such a ‘powerful’ organization like SHIELD, it’s hard to think that one woman could take control of one its flagships so quickly.” He grinned, moving along before Fury could reply, but feeling his glare as he went on down the hall. Sure, he knew Pepper wasn’t someone to be messed with and could be rather intimidating. He knew better than anyone perhaps. Finding Bruce, Frigga, and Thor next, he came up and tossed an arm around Bruce’s shoulders. “Well Loki woke up again…..he’s not 100% yet, but he’s getting there.” He said lightly. “He’s asked that we move back to the tower however….Clint and Natasha are getting the jet ready.” He explained before looking to Bruce.
Bruce looked up to Tony in surprise when the man was suddenly beside him. He hadn’t thought that he’d be leaving Loki at all, but his explanation made a little sense of it. He’d probably be glued to the god again when they got home. Nodding at Tony’s last words, he gave a small smile. “Of course. But I don’t think there will be any problem. And I think I’ll just keep him hooked to an IV for another day or so. Just so he can get the nutrients he needs as he sleeps it off.” He said lightly. He imagined that once Loki escaped the jammer’s effects the god would be fully recovered in a rather short amount of time, especially if Thor was anything to go by when he got injured.
Frigga smiled slightly as Tony showed up, surprised, but pleased to see the man looking a little more relaxed. Hearing that Loki was awake, her smile brightened. “Is he still awake?” she asked Tony quickly. When Tony gave a small nod and a ‘should be’, she touched Thor’s arm before hurrying towards the infirmary again. She loved Thor dearly, but the last year or two had been hard on her relationship with Loki and any opportunity to speak with him was treasured.

Clint and Natasha were quit surprised to see Tony when the exited the office. "Of course Tony, we'l be ready to go in a few minutes." Natasha assured the man. She was a bit relieved to be going back to the tower. Loki although being controlled at the time had done plenty of damage to those on the Hellicarrier, to families. Shield had yet to broadcast that Loki had been under the same influence as those that had been controlled by him. As a result there were still some very unhappy parties who wanted revenge. She would rather not give them a chance to do something stupid. "I'll find Pepper and have her ready." Natasha also offered the man before he went running off.
Loki was relaxing well when his mother returned to the room. He was still quite tired but if they were to be moving soon he knew he would need to remain awake. Seeing his mother he smiled and moved to sit up again. "I take it that Tony told you I was awake." he stated.

Frigga smiled warmly as she saw Loki still awake. “Don’t sit up Loki, you’re fine right where you are dear.” She said quickly, coming over to sit next to his bed. “I’m so glad to see you recovering….I was a little concerned that this Midgardian medicine wouldn’t be of any use. I trust this Doctor Banner, but this medicine is so foreign….but it seems you are doing well all the same.” She said. Touching his arm gently, she tilted her head. “How are you feeling my son?” she asked softly. Her love for Loki and care for his well-being was clear on her face. Rubbing his arm slightly, she looked a little nervous for a moment before speaking. “I am sorry Loki…..for not seeing what was going on years ago. I was always so blinded with concern for your health, I never thought to look for a cause….” She said softly.
Tony kept Thor and Bruce talking for a bit, wanting to give Frigga and Loki a few moments. They deserved it, and he felt that they both needed it on some level. Even as they began to head for the infirmary, Tony kept their pace slow, pausing on occasion.

Loki waved his mother off when she told him to not sit up. He did not feel right speaking with her laying down. "It seems as though we have all under estimated Midgardian medicine. Loki smiled. It had been a pleasant surprise to find out that Midgardian magic worked far better on him than it had on Thor. When she asked how he was he considered lying so as to not worry her but then he shook his head. "I should not be awake, Anthony was forced to wake me because I was losing myself in fearful memories that he could see. I am still quite tired, weak and feeling ill. I do not feel safe here however. I shall feel better and will be able to rest more when we have returned to the tower, are you joining us when we return?" loki admitted before questioning his mother. "Do not apologize mothers. There was no way you could have known. No one imagined that Sif would have so much power. The damage she's done is proof that she is untrained." Loki pleaded.

Frigga gave a small frown when Loki admitted to not feeling well, but gave a nod of understanding. She knew being someplace you were comfortable was a large part of the recovery as well. At his question, she gave another small nod and smiled. “I will be, for another day or two at least. It has been a very long time since I have been allowed a trip outside of the city, and even longer since I have been allowed the freedom to come to Midgard. I would enjoy that freedom while it lasts….and you know I always want to spend time with my sons.” She said softly. Though Frigga was perfectly capable of defending herself, especially against humans, Odin rarely let her leave the palace, let alone Asgard. She did go to visit Hela from time to time, but that was again, under the condition that she remain in Hela’s palace. Of course she understood this to be Odin’s way of protecting her, but she still grew bored. She remembered the days before Odin was king and they’d travel together to get to know one another, she missed those days. Loki’s reassurances only made Frigga give a little sigh. “I know…..but it just hurts me to think that I could have saved you from so much pain.” She admitted. “Perhaps it is a good thing that you do not remain in Asgard…..This Anthony……he seems rather capable in protecting and aiding you, for a human at least. He has done more to protect and heal you in this short amount of time than I seem to ever have been able to…..” she said slowly. Slowly looking into Loki’s eyes, she carefully touched his cheek. “You have always been an old soul Loki. With all you have suffered and been through, you grew old far before your time, and I apologize for that……but I see some of those years lifted when you are with this man…..and I am so happy for you in that.”

Loki looked quite relieved to hear his mother would stay for a day or two more at least. "It is always a good thing to get away mother and I do not think you should be bound by the words of the Allfather to stay within his prison. Perhaps if you bring a Valkyrie he might see more sense but even then it is your life mother." Loki argued. He was still clearly displeased with Odin and nothing anyone was going to say could change that. "Pain has always been sure to follow me mother even without Sif's help." Loki stated of course he was referring to the death of Angroboda, his children and then the banishment of his other children. "You spoke of my not regretting a decision the last time you were here mother. What decision was that?" Loki questioned. "I merely ask because I believe I have passed the point of making any decisions with Anthony. I have told him much, about Vali and Narfi, about what has happened to me whilst chained in Asgard. I have even offered him one of Idunn's apples should I be able to acquire one. I love him mother and I do not wish to lose him." Loki continued.

Frigga smiled thinly at Loki's argument. "I do not stay because I am bound by his orders Loki. You know well that I have more than enough power and knowledge to leave if I truly wanted.....I because it is my home and I stay for my love of your father. You do not know the man that he once was. I fell in love with him....and he still is that man when he is alone with me at times. His demands that I stay are his way of keeping me from harm. I am sure that there is some part of you that would like to keep Anthony safe within some place you knew and could protect....it is the same for Odin." She said slowly. Odin had changes through the centuries, but she still loved him deeply, as she knew that he loved her. Loki's words had Frigga's heart breaking for her son, taking his hand and holding it tightly. She wanted to desperately to shield him from the hurt, from everything that sought to sadden him, but she never seemed to make it in time. Loki's question had Frigga flinching. "I should not have told you that Loki...." she said softly, clearly debating if she should speak again. Finally deciding that since Loki already had this much knowledge, she had to give him more. "This decision does not have Anthony as a participant.....I have yet to see any decision you will make in the future truly and irreparably anger him, so there is no need to warn you on those..... the decision I speak of is posed by another and pertains to him though....." she said, not meeting Loki's eyes. "And it is a decision that will come to you no matter what happens between now and then.....you will know it when the time comes, but do not fret over it now. Enjoy yourself now, think of the present, trust me, the future is not a burden you should seek to carry." She said, finally looking to Loki, covering his hand with both of hers and looking slightly strained. "And please Loki, do not ask after this matter again. I love you enough that I may very well tell you what I know and then both of us will regret it. Instead....should I tell you something that should very well make you happy? I saw this shortly before Thor came to get us with the news of your injury."

Loki frowned at his mother's words of not being trapped by Odin. His anger at the god blinded him to see what his mother did in the man who was his father. When she stated that there was some part of him that wished he could spirit Tony away he couldn't disagree. If he knew he could get away with it without Tony hating him he might consider it more than as a passing thought. Green eyes flicked up to Frigga's face as the woman grasped his hand and squeezed it. He was even more confused when she stated that she should not have told him of the decision he would have to make. He was more confused when she told him that Tony would not be a participant in it, he was relieved to hear that she had seen no decisions in the future which would anger Tony enough to the point of leaving for good. Hearing the decision was posed by another worried him, the only person that would cause a decision to worry him was Odin. He was glad that he would know the decision when it came time but not being able to shy from it would be a hard thing to contemplate.
"I shall not ask on this matter again mother I promise." Loki promised seeing how much it strained the woman. His curiosity was peeked when she stated that she had seen something more joyous before Thor had found her to speak of what happened. "I would hear anything you seek to tell me of." Loki smiled squeezing his mothers hand comfortingly.

Frigga knew Loki did not see Odin as good in anyway, but she would always love her husband…..and she would not try to force either of them to get along with each other, as long as she could still be in both of their lives. When Loki promised not to ask her about his decision again, she gave him a relieved smile. She still trusted Loki completely. He had made some bad decisions, but he was still her little boy and she would always see him as such. The agreement to hear her other vision had a light come into her eyes and she shifted as if telling him a secret. “I do not know all of the details as Thor interrupted my sight…..but I see great joy in the future for your children…..and I do mean all of your children.” She said quickly, pausing to let that fact sink in. “It is the first time I have seen something for Fenrir in a very long time…..and I do not know more than his joy, but with all of them, it was enough to fill me til I thought I would burst. It was why I was so surprised when Thor brought news of your injury…..I thought perhaps you had located Fenrir and that was what I was seeing.” She continued. Her visions were a strange thing, not always clear, only certain aspects of what the universe wanted her to know being revealed as other times she knew every detail of an encounter, so she was not surprised by this fragment of information, but simply took it as it was.

Loki watched his mother his eyes full of the curiosity he felt knowing that his mother had seen something so joyous. He didn't even mind that Thor had interrupted where he might normally have. Hearing that the joyous future was for that of his children caused Loki to freeze. His chest tightened and he felt like there was a knot in his throat. All of his children? Even those that were dead or banished from his sight forever, he didn't believe it possible. "Mother I do not wish to start doubting your visions but the Allfather will never release Fenrir to me not even if I could find him. I can not free my son unless I condemn myself to death." he paused there knowing what he was opening himself up for. It was the first he had ever mentioned such things to his mother, it made his chest tighten more and his head felt light. "The Allfather fears the prophecy mother, so much so that he chained a child who knew nothing of such things." Loki continued. He was stalling though as he wished desperately that Tony would return quickly enough whilst he told his mother of the horros he had done. He knew he had to tell his mother what happened to the only normal grandchildren she had ever had. "Vali and Narfi's deaths came by my hands." the god stated loud enough for the woman to hear as he pulled his hand from hers to wring his own together. He hoped and prayed that Tony was right and that the woman who claimed to love him unconditionally would not condemn him.

Frigga smiled to herself at Loki’s first words, shaking her head. He did not know what she knew, did not feel the joy. She knew it was real. It’s cause and time frame were not known to her, but she sensed it in the coming future. Her smile turned to a frown as he went on to speak of his own death. What did he mean by that. Hearing him talk of the prophecy, she shook her head. “He did…..I have berated him many times since over that prophecy. It came from people who know nothing of reading the future and sorting the visions that the universe and Yggdrasil provides. He was a fool in that time to take their word. If something such as the end of times was to come upon us, I would see it first. I am sure he has learned his lesson now.” She said, pride in her eyes. She was the one gifted with true sight, she was positive that any prophecy like that would reveal itself to her. Loki’s next words stunned her though and she felt Loki’s hand slip from hers, leaving her feeling almost empty. Taking a slow breath, she seemed honestly confused for a moment. “Wh-What does that mean Loki?” she asked slowly. Loki would never kill his own children, he loved and protected them more than she’d seen anyone else in the universe.

Loki didn't believe that Odin had learned his lesson. If the man had he would have released Fenrir, how could she not realize that. No Odin was still scared of anything concerning his death so much so that he wouldn't chance anything. "How could they know? How could they know that one of my children would take the form of a wolf before I had even conceived him? How could they know unless they had seen?" he questioned heart break etching its way into his voice. Listening to her question his words he tugged at the bond he had with Tony pleading the man to return. "It means exactly what I said. I killed Vali and then Narfi, buried them in some unknown part of Vanahiem whilst Hiemdall could not see me." Loki choked out.

Frigga's heart clearly went out to Loki in his pain. "Seeing and knowing are different Loki. The sight is not easy. You may see an image and it does not mean what you think it to mean. Thus woman saw Fenrir, I could say that much....but I believe the actions she saw in him were more symbolic than true." She tried to explain, fearing that Loki had begun to accept this false prophecy as well. His words confirming that he had killed his sons shattered her heart. "But...." she said, seeming close to tears.
Tony felt the tug on the bond, felt Loki's desperation and instantly stopped talking to Thor and Bruce, hurrying towards Loki, fear and concern for his wellbeing resonating across the bond. Coming through the door, he was surprised to find both Loki and Frigga visibly upset. Rounding the bed he sat on the edge, pulling his lover into his arms quickly."What's going on?" He asked quickly, looking between the two in confusion. Loki and Frigga should not be drawing this kind of reaction from each other.

Loki couldn't bear to look at his mother as he could hear tears in her voice. She may not be crying yet but he knew she would be soon. Feeling Tony's fear only seemed to ramp his own up until the man entered the room. Giving a shuddered breath when the way pulled him into his arms he couldn't help but cling to Tony. "I told her that I killed the boys Tony. I told her its my fault their dead." Loki stated burying his head against the mans chest. He wouldn't allow Tony to blame his mother for their state, it was own fault for how upset they were.
"Brother you are not telling the whole story." Thor stated having entered the room just behind Tony.

Tony’s arms tightened around Loki as he clung to him so quickly. Hearing his words, he sighed, taking a moment to calm himself. Looking to Thor when he spoke, he gave a small nod, hand running down Loki’s back comfortingly as he sent reassurances and love through the bond. “Loki….you need to tell her everything…..She’s the last person you ever have to tell…..I’ll help with anyone else, but this is Frigga, your mother.” He said softly. Loki needed to be the one to tell his mother, he needed to realize that his mother would still love him.
Frigga looked to Tony in surprise when he came in, only being able to guess that Loki had sent for him as he grew upset. Shaking her head at Loki’s words, she looked to Thor. Loki couldn’t possibly be telling the truth. Reaching for Thor as some form of comfort, she looked back to Tony and Loki. “Please…..what is going on?’ she asked.
