After the battle Xander healed up Kotetsu and smirked at Cara. "Technically I only stole Tiger. I did not steal any others, nor did I trap any Cottonee. I didn't even get the chance to use my trap earlier." He knelt down to run a hand over Kotetsu's head. "And so far you don't seem to be able to do your job." he purred out then glanced over at where Rory was now battling.

Cara glared and growled at Xander. That had not gone as hoped. While her opponent spoke, she fixed up Tiger, taking everything the Rocket said with a grain of salt. "Whether you stole the other pokemon or not doesn't matter, you're guilty of Pokenapping, Aiding and Abetting, and Racketeering." She said, patting Tiger's head. "And I told you before, I'm just starting out at this..." She looked down...she was hurt, she had thought Xander was her friend, someone she could trust, but she was wrong. She looked up at him, her eyes glinting with determination, "But everyone has to start somewhere."

"Arcanine!" Tiger agreed. He wasn't going to let these crooks get away free.

Cara then glanced over to Xander's brother and gave a dry laugh. "It seems villainy doesn't fall far from the tree." She stood up tall and strong once more, facing her foe. "So, ready for another go?"

((hehheh, it sort of pays to watch crime dramas and know crime stuff, and yeah, I'll start it up.))

Juno stalked through the melee with mixed feelings. She'd taken that repulsive Officer George down after an intense battle, but her poor precious Desdemona had been taking a considerable beating elsewhere.

She cradled the lantern in both hands. "But you're tougher than you look, aren't you, darling?" she cooed.

"Twiiiick!" There was fire in the Litwick's eyes, as well as on her head.

Clourunner sensed the duo approaching and shifted in her trainer's grasp enough to level a serious, calculation look at the pair. She planted one last lick on his forehead and ducked out of the boy's drowning-man hug to stand stiffly before him.

Cael paled, a hand still clutching one of her shoulder ruffs like she'd disappear if he let go. That was a rocket uniform? "Wh-what do you want?" he said, throat tight. (possibly to quiet to be heard).

Fifi held up her wrists, rope burns shockingly red against her pale skin. "I don't know, you tell me," Fifi said tightly. "I've done nothing but try to help. Go ahead and ask the stolen pokemon if I had anything to do with taking them. I'm sorry you passed out, but either you have an allergy I don't have, or the adrenaline drop and head injury you had did it, because I sure didn't do anything to the darn soup. Either way, you might want to see a doctor. I get stabbed and it is iron-clad proof I'm evil. I help free the stolen pokemon, and it's proof that I took them. I'm done! I'm finished trying to be friends with you, when you obviously all hate me!" Fifi said, blinking back tears, hands fisted at her sides as she trembled with anger and hurt.

"Sorry, but sorry just isn't good enough right now," Fifi said, chin thrust stubbornly forward. "I'll go with the side that just stabbed me when I was on the other team's side, not the one that laughed at my pain and threatened to kill me slowly when I was on their own side. Call me silly, but at least Team Rocket would kill me quickly," she said with a sneer. "And hey, now you can all pat yourselves on your holier-than-thou backs and say you were right, after all, I did go and join Team Rocket. I must have been a terrible person all along!"

Xander shrugged and lightly tested the cuffs before smirking at her. "Oh I didn't tell you to get sympathy or to get you to forgive me, I just told you because I said I would." He shrugged again, this time to cover up the fact that he had grabbed his lock pick. "I choose this path, you choose your path. Though I wonder, now that you have a taste of what your job is like, are you still thinking of changing." He asked, part out of curiosity and part to keep her distracted so she could see what he was doing.
