Avery sputtered as the dragon boil dismissed his threat entirely, sending the behemoth pom into another fit of rage. There was claws, teeth and even a lash of his tail, as he thrashed about enraged. Fortunately, it didn't last long before he settled for simply glaring at the student.
"If you think I'm scared of some jacking minipet, you've got another thing coming!" Idle threats had little effect on Avery.

Hey, bad pom, bad! NO BITING! Unfortunately for the Avery pom, Sheridan had been bitten and clawed far too many times to be bothered by any further bitings, at least not enough to let go. (Though there were probably now several new scratches on his forearms). Stop squirming! "Perhaps, but he is at least as grumpy as you are, I'm sure you'd get along wonderfully." Though the idea of locking Avery and the cat of evil in a box together might have been amusing, Sheridan wouldn't have -really- done it. No, this was much more amusing anyway. "I could tie you to a leash and drag you around for a while."

At that comment, Sheridan was rewarded with another scowl. Seriously. What was he talking about? He was in a perfectly wonderful ******** mood. Absolutely chipper! "I highly doubt that." He snarled out in his usual grouchy tone.
It was wonderful for Sheridan, that he was getting some enjoyment at the behemoth pom's expense, because Avery certainly wasn't
"Just you try it. I dare you." There was clearly a warning in that challenge.

"Don't tempt me." Because he would do it, Avery, HE WOULD DO IT! "You can stop trying to intimidate me, it's not going to work." Sheridan's only shook his head, a twitch in his own tail, clearly the dragon was not buying it. He just could not take threats from a fuzzy pom seriously, no matter who said pom really was. "Maybe you just need some kibble and a nice pat on the head, would that make you feel better?"

The nerve! If Sheridan even considered treating him like an actual minipet, the boil would find he would have a few fingers less.
"You know it wouldn't." He replied, biting off every word with a snarl. It was clear who's image the behemoth poms took after.

Sheridan was now carrying Avery!pom over toward the booth itself where he decided to lean against the ledge. "Are you always such a jerk?"

"Like you're one to speak." He countered, glaring up at the the dragon boil from where he was held. He had after all, refused to put him down. "And I don't have to answer you jacking questions."

"I'll take that as a yes." Sheridan only rolled his eyes. His interest in the game (for the moment) was beginning to wane. Not that he wasn't still tempted to drop Avery on his fuzzy rear end. "You know, you're wasting a great opportunity."

The behemoth pom gave an exasperated sigh. "Am I now? Really? I can't imagine what wondrous opportunities are available to me right now. Please. Do enlighten me." His words were dripping with sarcasm. Despite what Sheridan said, Avery just couldn't see any opportunities here. Especially given his current situation and certainly not when the boil still help him as though he were a plush toy!

Almost every ghoul here, and some of the boils, would happily shower you would attention, treats, and anything else you wanted. Do you have any idea just what you could get away with?" Was Sheridan thinking dirty thoughts? Maybe. He just knew if -he- were turned into a cute minipet he'd have curled up in Tess' lap (or burrowed into her shirt, while she was wearing it) and taken -all- the attention.
