I winch up the rest of the water.
"Hey, Laci, Think you can find us some wood? That way we can get this going faster!" I say in as cheerful a voice as possible while turning a winch.

I smile rather triumphantly as I find the spot and then proceed to look around for the next place to climb over... I at least wanted to go sideways a bit before climbing down and looking for other things to scale. Hopefully these cat eyes would help me see better in the dark...?

Desta:
You do, in fact, have heightened night vision like a cat. You easily pick out footholds that will get you about five paces sideways, going south, and all the way to the ground. They look easy enough to get to, but you should still be careful!

I land, and gather up my bolts, then head back inside. "I'll work on it more tomorrow," I say, and head back to my room.

As I had done such things many times before, I attempt to climb across the footholds as quickly and carefully as I can with a slight smile.

Shi'ita decides to watch Desta for as long as he could as she scaled the wall, softly speaking, though not quitea mutter. "I'll ... .wait here for you."

"Okay!" She scans the room quickly to see if there is any in the room they are currently in.

Selphie:
When you get back to your room, it is still dusty. But now that you have officially claimed it as YOUR room, it feels like home already!

Desta:
You make it to the second one before missing the next one! You fail to catch yourself and find yourself plummeting to the ground! However, your cat reflexes allow you to grab onto the wall further down! Your heart is pounding, but your adrenaline is pumping hard.

Shi'ita:
You see Desta fall off the wall, but catch herself.

Laci:
You see a pile of old logs in the corner. No saying how long those have been here, though.

Jasmine:
You've finished your fourth bucketful. Three more to go!

"Chee-Des. Are you alright?" Shi'ita asks, his voice higher than normal and filled with concern. He gripped the window sill with his paws as he stared at Desta, hoping she didn't get hurt from the slight fall.

I had kept rather silent while falling as I wasn't one to exclaim too loudly in such situations, but my muscles were overly tense when I caught myself and under my breath I said, "Oh gosh..." I then glanced back up to Shi'ita at his question and tried my best to smile reassuringly and called out in reply to him. "I'm fine! Probably gonna be sore tomorrow though!" I speak as lightheartedly as possible before looking back down to see where I could next place my limbs to get to the bottom..."Or should I just go back up?" I speak once more under my breath...

Desta:
The next foothold looks easy enough to get to. However, the problem will be the fact that it is below you, so you'll have to angle yourself to look down while MOVING down.

"Might as well make it more fit for me and my pet, after all the queen can't live in a dust old ruin! Oh wait, I am... It doesn't have to be dusty though!" I say, and get to work dusting the room.

I decide to take the challenge of stepping down to the next foothold. What was the point of working out if you didn't challenge yourself? I push out my bottom so I can look down as I slowly and carefully begin to step down.

Selphie:
As you work, the dust gets in your nose, eliciting a series of sneezes from you. When you open your eyes after the last one, you find that the nearest wall has a giant spot of ice on it. Considering that it wasn't there before, and that this is a wasteland, ice is next to impossible to find, particularly in such a place (not to mention a shape that is reminiscent of a glob of snot).

Desta:
You end up falling off of the wall. This time, you don't catch yourself. You do, however, land on your feet (on all fours). But, the shock from hitting the ground from the second floor gives some pretty hard recoil. It's not bad, but your arms and legs are in pain. Probably shouldn't be doing that again!

Jasmine:
You finish with the last bucket!

This time I let out a cry, but not too loud... It was more of calling out "Dammit!". The moment I hit on all fours my face twists with pain and I fall over on my side. "Dammit...dammit...dammit..." I just continue repeating softly as I curl up slowly.
