Justin walked alone, looking for any sign of Rouge, Knuckles, or the other members of the ragtag group of mutants. He put Cerberus back on his belt, then sat on a nearby bench.

"How was your little adventure?" asked a familiar, quiet voice. Shadow was leaned up against a tree behind the bench, arms crossed.
(Does he like, stalk them or what?)

Justin heard the voice of Shadow, and then smirked. "Pretty good. And, are you stalking me? I'm almost flattered. ALMOST." He joked.

"On occasions." Shadow smirked slightly. "You took out that hydra pretty well."
"Two questions," said Rouge, walking over. "When the hell was he fighting a hydra, and you didn't bother to help, did you?"

Justin smiled at Rouge. "Don't worry, I had help. You see, the adventure began when this woman named Samus showed up. Apparently, she's a video game character like Dante. She lost her battle armor, so me and Tails helped her find it, and me and Samus ended up taking on the aforementioned hydra." He explained.

"Oh yeah....wasn't there that game series Tails was into where you went around as a lady named Samus Arem or something?" And she fought floating jellyfish?" Rouge asked to no one in particular. She most likely was thinking aloud.
"Samus Aran, bounty hunter who fought Metroids and some weird mutation made by space pirates called Mother Brain." Knuckles corrected, walking over too.
Rouge blinked. "How the hell did you know all that?"
Knuckles shrugged. "I've had my fair share of video games when I was younger."
"Most of them had women as the main characters." mumbled Shadow, rolling his eyes.
Knuckles shrugged, grinning slightly. "What can I say? Unlike most ten year old boys, I actually liked girls."
(What'dya know? Knux was a womanizer before he reached fourteen! x3)

Justin chuckled a bit. Knuckles was the typical male, in some areas. He then smiled. He decided NOT to tell them about Tails having a nerd crush on the bounty hunter.

"And anyway, I bet even Sonic was staring at Samus. Considering she's a video game character, she's hot!"
Rouge smacked him upside the head.
"Ouch!" Knuckles rubbed the back of his skull. "Not as hot as Rouge, of course."
Rouge smiled.
"Speaking of Samus," Shadow looked at Justin, "Did she notice Tails staring at her for most of that time?"

"TAILS was staring at her?! Nice, Knux, you rubbed off on an eight-year-old!" Rouge glared at him.
"In defense of Knuckles, I believe he was more attracted to her because she's his favorite video game character." Shadow said, looking over to the bat girl.
"Besides, I don't think Tails looks up to a guy who punches him so hard the kid doesn't wake up for a few days." Sonic added, walking over.
"Hey, I only did that one time." Knuckles said, crossing his arms. "I hadn't met you guys and was fooled into thinking you were there to steal the Lotus Gem I was guarding at the time."
"Yeah, and then you got tricked AGAIN into thinking I was gathering the Lotus Gems for something. Really, Knux, you're extremely gullible."
"Says the man who kept going into the girls' bathroom because Shadow was switching the signs. And never learned." Knuckles rolled his eyes.
Sonic spun around to look at Shadow. "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO WAS DOING IT!"
Shadow laughed, something which was rare for him. "Oh God, I remember that. It was hilarious."

Justin laughed. His friends were simply hilarious right now. He was also kinda stunned that Shadow actually LAUGHED! Tails' nerd crush was still obvious, though, but it was alright.

Rouge chuckled. "How much did you guys do before Shadow and I met you? I mean, really. But don't they have security cameras down that hallway Sonic prefers for using the bathroom? How did you do it without getting caught?"
"You'll find I was an elusive little eleven year old boy." Shadow smirked.
"Hey, this is random, but that sprouted a question in my mind...." Rouge looked at Shadow. "If your chronological age is well over fifty, but you date a fourteen year old girl, doesn't that make you a ***** style="color: black">"That is a very good question. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer." Shadow replied.
"What do chrunola...chronologecal....***** words you just said. What do they mean?" asked Sonic, tilting his head to the side a bit.

Justin chuckled a bit, deciding NOT to tell Sonic what those words meant. He simply smiled. After the Samus adventure and Tails freaking out, he needed to relax.
