Amelia Frances
 Amelia simply smiled, taking the compliment instead of arguing. Once more she opened her book, and this time she actually started to read. The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection was quite interesting, more so than any other textbook she read, at least before coming here. She was learning the pronunciations and descriptions of the spells, to prepare her for when she could try it. Be that in class or her free time.

Ninna Magdalene Smith | First Year | Hufflepuff

Ninna wandered into the Defense classroom mindlessly. She wasn't sure how well she'd like this class, Defense Against the Dark Arts. It sounded boring. Well, there was only one way to find out if this class would be any good. Ninna opened the door carefully, being sure to greet it properly; lest it attempt something horrible.

As the class was bored and silent, Meiko turned her head when a new face in Hufflepuff uniform entered the classroom. She grinned and said to Amelia. "Look, a new student from Hufflepuff has arrived."
"Hello there... welcome to Hogwarts. I'm Meiko Waltz of the Ravenclaw house, 7th year." Meiko greeted with light bow as extended her hand toward her for a hand shake.

Ninna was shocked when she was immediately greeted by a student. A seventh year! How does one properly introduce oneself to a seventh year? Nin gave a curtsy to her superior, "Ninna Magdalene Smith." She said quietly.

Meiko light giggled as she slightly shook her head, still smiling at the Hufflepuff, Ninna. "No need to be formal, Ninna... since the professor isn't back yet, you can take a seat if you want."

 Amelia gave Ninna a smile, and scooted over, "You can sit here if you like. Professor Reynolds had an...emergency." Her book, The Mysterious Benedict Society slipped from her desk onto Ninna's freshly available chair. Blushing at her clumsiness, the young girl quickly snatched it back up and placed it with her book. She'd finished reading the Defense Against the Dark Arts book, which was interesting, but she was done with it. She'd simply been reading a different book in between.

Alex sat in her desk reading Quidditch through the ages for the 100th time, she was extremely bored and was deciding weather or not to skip class but decided against it

 Professor Kenneth ReynoldsD.A.D.A - Head of Gryffindor - Auror
Kenneth walked briskly into his classroom and said "All is well people, Aludra had the babies a little early but they are going to be okay." He looked around the room and his gaze finally landed on Mekio. "Thanks Mekio for keeping the class in line while I was gone. For those who have not finished the assignment plus do so now." He went to the front of the room and sat down, he really needed to collect his thoughts. It prolly wouldn't be much longer before he was summoned back to Aludra's side. But before he went to sit down he need to go welcome his newest student. "Ah you must be the new Hufflepuff, Professor Lillian mentioned to me the other day. Welcome to Defense Ninna, hopefully I'll be able to fill your head with the knowledge needed to help defend yourself in general and against the Dark Arts."

Ravenclaw, second year... ::Sabrina walked into the classroom, out of breath from getting lost on the constantly-changing staircases of the castle. She hoped that she wasn't as horrifically late as she believed herself to be. Walking over to look at the board, Sabrina tripped over what she believed to be a classmate, and nearly had a full-blown panic attack when she turned to face the mannequin behind her. After realizing it was only a decoration to be used for her assignment, Sabrina slowly calmed her hyperventilating and prepared herself for class.::So, we just... light the mannequin on fire and then put it out, yes? ::Sabrina thought the assignment seemed simple enough, but she didn't want to accidentally light a curtain or something ablaze. She once melted her father's sunglasses while trying to cook the muggle way, and she was a little afraid of wreaking havoc with the fiery spell. She decided that she might as well give it a go anyway. At worst, the professor could easily undo any disaster she might accidentally create. Lifting her wand and steadying her hand, Sabrina pointed at the imitation Death Eater and recited the spell.:: Lacarnum Inflamarae! ::The mannequin caught on fire, which quickly began to spread from the doll's midsection to its legs. In a panic, Sabrina flailed and yelled the proper counter-curse.::Aguamenti!!::The mannequin's fire smoldered and then went out, though it was now dripping water in a puddle on the floor. Sabrina wasn't entirely sure if she did well enough, and was still a little jumpy from the fear that she'd catch the classroom on fire.::Er.. sorry about the mess, Professor. Fire makes me a little nervous. Is there any way for me to clean up that water?...Where those of wit and learning will always find their kind.

 Amelia didn't move, having already completed the exercise. Still, she raised her hand to ask, "They're a boy and a girl, correct?" She'd sensed them, and in an alternate time line was there, but she knew not their names or if everyone else known it was fraternal twins. She kept her book concealed within her textbook, holding it up with her extra hand as she focused on the professor. Hearing the gasp, and the splatter of water, Amelia's gaze switched over. She was surprised by the amount of water the older girl had produced. Was it caused by desire for more or some way she said it? Either way, it'd be helpful filling up her cauldron in potions.

As Meiko took her seat, she blissfully smiled, seeing professor Reynold enter the room. "Oh, he's back~ Which mean's Aludra's alright."
When the professor thanked her, she gave him a quick nod and turned back to her seat mates, Amelia and Ninna.

Sparrow was glad to see Professor Reynolds return, because that means Aldura is fine. She said, "I'm glad everything is alright Professor. Was quite a scare in potions." She then walked back over the the mannequins and practiced the spell some more.

Before Kenneth could answer Sabrina's question she proceeded to practice the spell. From what he could see she performed the spell correctly but got a little overly excited when the mannequin caught fire and she rushed to put the flame out. Once again water coated the floor he walked over to Sabrina's side and placed his hand on her shoulder then said "Not to worry Sabrina you did well, as for the water you can just vanish it away. The vanishing spells incantation is Evanesco." He pulled his wand from his robes and vanished the water. He took his hand off Sabrina's shoulder and headed for his desk. On the way over he heard Amelia asking about the twins, "Ah yes they are a boy and a girl." He then turned at the sound of Sparrows voice and said, "Thanks Sparrow, I know I was a little freaked too when Professor Akahana came rushing into my classroom and shouted for me to rush down to the Potions classroom." Finally reaching his desk he dropped down into his chair and propped his feet up on his desk in an effort to clear his mind.
