Angel considered the food for a moment, then ate one of the fish quickly and almost savagely. When she was done, she licked at her fingers and then paused and made a face. "Oh. Icky." She'd had a weird thought.

"So, what are we going to do today?" Rincewind asked his lover, whispering into her ear as he nibbled her earlobe.

"Sorry it's not to your liking, but you can't really be picky when you're living off the land." Riley said with a chuckle while he was in between bites of his own fish.

Ceri sighed, shaking her head at the couple. "That's nice," she said a little too loud. She smiled a little bit.

{XD Sorry. My current backpack only had one strap, and carrying five to six textbooks in that was borderline breaking my back - so mom and i went shopping for a new backpack. And I got one. biggrin }
Mala stopped flailing once he stopped tickling her and smirked. "Damn right." she purred, sticking out her tongue at him once again.

Alek smirked and kissed just behind Ceri's ear and murmured, "I think we should find some witches."
"Baby, if I had my choice, we'd be here all day and night, goin' at it like rabbits." Val kissed Rincewind lovingly. "Unfortunately, we have to do something else, and I vote for the witches, good idea, brother." She yawned. "They've got some ancient knowledge in their libraries."
"I like the food. I just had an icky thought. Alek was reading me a bed-time story once and these people were starving and they ate each other and broke each other's bones and drank the marrow and stuff." Angel shuddered. "Don't you think that's icky?"

Ceri shuddered in his arms. She looked at them and said, "The only witches I know are in East City, in the elven lands. And considering we have a dude with a demon in him, two vampires, and a half-breed, I seriously doubt they would let us in..." she said.

"Not my fault you're excessively ticklish." Van said with a grin. "I suppose we should probably head back soon and make sure Angel hasn't victimized Riley or anything..." he said starting to slowly swim backwards towards the shore.
"Uh, yeah...Your brother needs to find better material for bedtime stories." Riley said with a sweatdrop.

"Disagree," Alek murmured. "Our mum was well-liked in the witch community. She did good works and promoted peace. I know of three witch-cities where my mother helped keep the peace."
Angel gave a small shrug. "Most of his stories were nice. Like the princess in the castle that found true love, only she slapped him across the face for presuming she was a damsel in distress and she in fact rather liked her castle." She giggled. "I liked that one."

"Elven culture was my specialty as a student!" Rincewind exclaimed. "Unfortunately, she's right." he shook his head. "The elves are somewhat prejudiced against demons and vampires."

Ceri stood up. "Well then, I guess we are to follow Alek to the closest of the Witch Cities...." she said. She looked around. "Anyone against it?"

Mala nodded. "Probably should. Still, it was nice to be able to get away from the others for a little bit." she smiled, slipping out of the water hesitantly and putting her bit of soap back into the small pouch.

"You may not, sir, but I do." A deep voice came from behind the trees in front of them. "Merlyn, you should really learn to whisper. I could hear you from a mile away."
Ceri jumped. She stepped away from Alek and the others. "I have not been called by that name in over three years..." she said, her voice like ice. "And only one person called me that as my name....." She had her fists balled.
A tall, white blond man walked out of the woods. "Here I thought you would be happy to see me, Merlyn," he said. He wore dark brown pants, a brown vest, and white high collared shirt, with glasses. His white hair was long for a male, but too short to be a girls. "I just happen to come back to the village to check on you when I heard you had been outlawed for helping someone with demonic possesion. You were always one to help the people in need, little sister."
Ceri sighed. "What else are you doing here, Micheal?" she asked.
