I sighed, while eating my nihon soba. "See, Hotaru? You actually have parents that care about you and give you a home... Not like the prison and the so-called parents that I have... They're closer to prison guards than actual parents. This is why I envy you. You have people that truly care for you... And not have pretenders like my so-called parents."
That's when I smiled bitterly, "Sorry if that dampens the mood here a little bit, but that's the truth."

I watched as my best friend reveal the truth to Haruka. I sighed, "Akira... I'm sorry. I had no idea that...."

I sighed, "It's all right, Shinichi. Even if I did tell you before I met Hotaru, you still wouldn't comprehend the amount of pain I've felt..."

I looked up as Hotaru launched herself at me and wrapped her arms around me in a hug. I patted her on the head while watching these two boys. I don't care if they are classmates of Hotaru's I wasn't about to trust them. "You will excuse us for a minute." I said taking hold of Hotaru's arm gently and pulling her away.

Quietly I followed Haruka-papa as she pulled me away from Akira and Shinichi. I knew what was going to happen. We walked into the study where Michiru-mama and Setsuna-mama were standing. Both girls looked up from the papers Setsuna-mama had brought home a bit surprised.

"Haruka?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "Is there something wrong?" I looked at Hotaru and then stood up. Of course there was something wrong. There always was something wrong with her. I tried to think of the reason why they were standing here but nothing came to me. Then I smiled. It must be the boys...
(Setsuna)
It was a bit surprising to see Haruka walking in holding Hotaru's arm. "We didn't know that you would be home today." I said encircling my arms around my stomach.

I nodded. That's when I went outside with my iPod, and listened to Fukai Mori. I sighed silently to myself, "This is one wierd journey, all right."

" So Mamo-chan, are you going to tell me what's going on or do I have to force it out of you with my cooking?" Usagi said taking aserious turn. mamoru had mentioned a new enemy was around. The least he could do was fill Usagi in so she could pass the news on to the other Inner Senshi. Even though she was a flake, she wasn't flakey enough to forget when they were in a time of crisis. True, she often got side tracked but she had matured a little bit since the fight with Galaxia. " Or... is this something I should talk to Hotaru-tachi about?" ~*~ At that moment, Luna was just arriving at the Aino residence to visit Artemis. Since they had been living peacefully, Luna had very little to do anymore. All she could do was instruct Usagi on how to be a lady but that did tend tog et tiring after a while. The black furred feline had a lot more free time that she did not know what to do with. So more often than not she spent it with Artemis. At least he was good for a few laughs. He - and Minako - were a lot less serious than they had first been.

I replied, "The enemy is known as the Dark Zodiac. Their goal is to force their ideas of perfection on to everyone else. Their youmas and their generals and their empress draw their power from the Dark Star. They are dangerous and deadly." That's when I looked toward Hotaru's home and replied, "However, with a powerful foe such as them, powerful allies have begun to awaken. At least, the leader of these allies have begun to fully awaken."

I thought, 'Is it because you lost Takeshi as Saturn that you are unwilling to trust me, Hotaru?' I seriously considered playing 'Invisible' by Clay Aiken or 'Invisible Man' by 98 Degrees.
That's when I silently sighed a little sadly, "She's afraid of losing me... That's what it is."
I began to consider to tell Hotaru who I really was. But I thought, 'Not yet. Not when I am COMPLETELY sure her and her other friends are the Sailor Senshi. So I can't show her my true form... Not yet.'

As I sat quietly, I thought, 'My actions and words doesn't seem make me trustworthy in Hotaru's eyes. I guess in my first true battle against the Dark Zodiac, I'll have to make myself clear. I intend to never side with the DZ. But even then... Will Hotaru trust me?'
My partner sighed,
I sighed inwardly, 'Point taken. However, I am not an enemy.'
My partner replied,
I sighed, "So in order to gain their trust, I must prove myself."

Usagi gave another slight nod as though she understood everything perfectly. She had to wonder just how powerful these new allies were. The Outer Senshi were amazingly powerful yet they could not compare to the Anima-mates. And then there had been the Starlights. They, too, were powerful.
"Did they have a great connection with you in the past mamo-chan? You seem to know a lot about this. Or did you just larn everything from hotaru-chan?"

I smiled, "Only one. And that is their leader, who is currently starting to awaken. He was a wise friend, a bit sarcastic at points, but a great warrior nonetheless. He was also a friend to Artemis and Luna." That's when I sighed sadly, "But on the day that the Dark Kingdom attacked, something happened."

[I am sooo sorry that I haven't posted in a while.]
I stared at Michiru and Setsuna. They were acting as if there wasn't anything wrong. I released Hotaru's arm and watched as she quickly left the room. "Of course there is something wrong! Who are those boys with Hotaru?" I demanded. I turned my gaze to Setsuna. "I didn't know I was going to be either."

Once I was released I returned to where the boys had been. I stood a moment watching Akira as he stood outside. I opened the door and stepped out with him. He seemed to be lost in thought so I waited silently.

I slowly stood up. I wanted Hotaru and her family to trust me. I wanted to show them who I truly was. But I couldn't. I understood that if they are who they are, then they had to keep their identities a secret. I looked up at the sky, and the birds were flying.
I sincerely and honestly smiled, "It must be nice. To be free of any negative restraints, to be as free as the wind itself. I only wish I could only be that free."

Free to be me and only me. And I wish to be free from my scars. But it takes more than just to wish. You have to do what you have to do."
I clenched my fists. My eyes narrowed. I said, "I'm going to face my parents."
