battosai matt Are you saying that the world wil end on 2012? If so good luck with that. I meant the oposite... What I mean is that there will be an end but not of humankind of the world...

Everyone said the world was going to end in 2000 but here we all are still talking about the end.

I'm not sure about era of fear. When I hear someone talking about how the world will end on 2012 I like to say "Hey remeber ten years ago on New Years day when I was watching Cartoonnetwork while you where hiding in a bomb shealter?"

Mistro: Thats the name of a era and serveral past eras, like Fire or things like that my Math profersor told me something about that... so thats the things and 2000 there was an end, besides the end of milenium and a century the end was the end of Capricorn era and moved to Acauarius... that was on one of Dan Brown book and I dont remember which one it it was Da Vinci code or Angels and demons...
Matt: that would be kinda... freak? I dont really know how to name it but once the dec 22 of 2012 come I will laught at a friend face who says that

...yeah, i'm a bit confused about that too Hunter, I thought the world was suppose to 'end' on christmas of 2012, you're laughing at them two days before christmas eve. but yeah, i'd say that I'll probably be telling those who actually believe the world is going to end at the end of 2012, when newyears of 2013 comes around, i'll be laughing at them then lol, not that i'm already laughing at them because i am. ^_^

I don't think it's right to say this is the Age of Fear. I mean, yes we have much to be afraid off, such as Iran and North Korea gaining nuclear power, but there are worse things, like the 1940's when the world was introduced to atomic weapons...I would have really been freaked out with that.

I have to agree with you Frederic, the introduction of atomic bombs would have been extremely scary!
