 Moonkit
[Moonkit dipped her head and thinking the flick a sign of dismissal.
[She padded away, still buzzing with excitement.
Her eyes laid upon a brown pelt.
Sleeping, no doubt. she thought, whiskers twitching.
[Moonkit crouched into a hunter's crouch and stealthily made her way towards.
Little did she know that her tail dragged slightly on a pile of dry leaves, causing them to rustle just the slightest.]

 H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________[Hawkpaw's ear flicked at the sounds of rustling leaves. He was finally falling asleep when he heard it, so it irritated him a bit. He cracked an eye open to form the slightest golden-amber slit. A silver pelt immediatly caught his attention. He closed his eyes, knowing that Moonkit was playing, and waited for her to come closer.
Either way, his legs were somewhat...tied up at the moment, so he could do nothing if Moonkit decided to scratch his eyes out.]

Moonkit
[Moonkit came upon him in a couple more graceful strides.
She was silent the whole time.
She approached cautiously, but she wasn't afraid.
Her whiskers twitched harder at the amusing thought of Hawkpaw waking up bleary eyed.
She was close now, close enough to pounce and she did.
Granted it was a lighter pounce than usual knowing his injuries.
She pounced lightly on his forepaw.]
"A 'paw' should know better than to let a mere kit pounce!" she hissed playfully in his ear.]

 Icestorm got up and stretched. She padded around to find Hawkpaw, sleeping. *I hope his injuries are not bothering him* She thought as she settled down near him. She curled her tail neatly and was so quiet that Hawkpaw did not even notice.

H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________[Hawkpaw grunted, his teeth clenched as Moonkit landed on his forepaw. he half-expected her to pounce on one of his scratched hind-legs out of sadistic boredom, but to his surpise, didn't. He blinked his eyes open and narrowed them at her, a light smirk crossing his face.]
“And a kit should know what it means when a wounded apprentice is trying to nap.” [He cuffed her ear with a playful hiss before his eyes darted to his mentor.] “Hello, Icestorm.” [He glanced back at Moonkit.] “And I thought Starpelt agreed to take you to the Moonpool. Shouldn't you be getting ready to leave?”

Cindermoon let out a low hiss as she watched Silverclaw and Firestorm. If Silverclaw wasn't here, She would have a chance wih Firestorm! "You can bring Silverclaw and Icestorm, if that's okay with Silverstar," she mewed and looked at Firestorm. "Firestorm, will you join me hunting?"

Moonkit
[Moonkit eyes gleamed playfully.
But that disappeared like mist in morning sunshine as he mentioned Starpelt and the Moonpool.
She sat lightly on her haunches.]
"I'm scared. If I leave.. it feels like I'm also leaving so much more behind.. y'know?" she mumbled without looking at him.
Of course he wouldn't know you mouse brain! He wouldn't understand the tiniest claw scratch! she thought angrily to herself.
"I'm sorry.. I've ruined our fun haven't I?" she thought, looking up at nothing.

 Firestorm turned to see Cindermoon. "uh... well..." Firestorm stopped short. he saw that Icestorm was sitting beside Hawkpaw. *checking on her apprentice, yes,* He then turned to Silverclaw who seemed to have the joy returned to her eyes. The deputy was asking to go hunting and he was unsure of what to do. He sighed. "Of course." He said as he dipped his head. Sadness and concern seemed to flash in his eyes, before vanishing.

"Hello. I hope your injuries arent hurting you too badly. are you in any pain?" She asked. She saw Firestorm looking at her. she nodded. afterall what else would she do. the deputy was asking her love to hunt. that was fine, as long as Firestorm thought it was.

 (Hey! Silver here. this is an explanation. im over at Gray's house and so i am posting through her account since she only has one computer. anyway. i hope this is ok!)
Silverclaw felt her joy returning to her. She saw Icestorm padd towards her apprentice. then the deputy was asking Firestorm to go hunting! Oh joy! "Oh... Lucky Firestorm." she twiched her tail mischeviously. "Go on. im sure the deputy isnt going to bite." she whispered to him in his ear. Firestorm seemed to nod before accepting. Silverclaw sat where she was. "aww. now im bored. i wish i could go hunting." she said to herself.

H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________[Hawkpaw watched her blue eyes carefully. He could tell that she thought he wouldn't understand her dilemma and feelings, but strangely, he could, much to his own surprise. He gently touched Moonkit's nose with his own, trying to show as much comfort as possible in the subte gesture. His deep golden eyes shone with many emotions, joy, sadness, and love included.]
“If becoming a medicine cat is your dream, follow it...I know I'm too young to say something like this, but I know it's true when they say that StarClan grants each of us one chance to live our lives the way we want to...And don't worry. Fun is the least of my worries right now. With the Madness still lingering around, we'll need another medicine cat.” [He smiled warmly at the she-cat, encouraging her to follow what she believe's is right. He blinked over to Icestorm, sat up a little and dipped his head.] “No, Icestorm. Thanks to Starpelt, I'm healing quicker than ever. Just one thing...My legs feel a little numb, and Starpelt said that my training should be postponed until they heal. I protested, but she insisted I rest. Is that alright with you, Icestorm?”

[I opened my eyes, blinking in the bright light of day. I lifted my head and looked around.
I saw a brown pelt, just outside the apprentice's den. I stood, grinning to myself.
I padded out of the den and saw Moonkit's silvery pelt next to Hawkpaw. I grinned even wider. Both of my friends are here!]
Padding up to them, I purred cheerily, "Hi, guys!"
Tilting my head at the last part of what Hawkpaw had said, I mewed, "Oh? Injury?"
[I peered over, and saw Hawkpaw's leg, which was slightly swollen. I felt my heart drop. I should've watched out for him more, I worried. But then I shook the thought away.]
"You should've been more careful," I teased. "But I should've been, too. After all, Icepaw had to treat my-"
[I froze. Wound! I completely forgot! My shoulder wound!
Twisting my head, I checked it. The cobwebs were still there, sticking to my wound. It was a mass of sugly welling and redness, but I hardly felt it.]
Blinking, I said, "I don't feel my wound...is that bad?"
[I licked it, slightly concerned.]
"Hmm. I could've sworn this healed over...it doesn't even sting..."
[Yet, the wound looked bad. It was so swollen, so red...how could I not feel it..?]

"Silverclaw, Icestorm, Silverstar wants us to patrol the Nightclan and Breezeclan borders. Want to come?"

H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________[Hawkpaw blinked over to Thunderpaw, his eyes instantly lighting up a bit. As he listened to her, one of her remarks made him flick his ears.]
“I was careful. But did you see those hoards of rabid prey? I'm still surprised that no cat had their limbs torn off.” [He watched Thunderpaw's shoulder intently. It was swollen, her skin quite visibly red beneath her black fur. He glanced at his own legs. They weren't much better. The gashes still bled from time to time, the cobwebs that were wrapped around them soaked though with the crimson liquid. He looked back to Thunderpaw.] “I don't think it's that bad. Icepaw treated you, right? She must've given you something to numb it...But I'm no medicine cat; I don't know about these things...But, Moonkit might.”
[He swung his head back to Moonkit, his eyes dancing with warm humor. He hoped that this situation would spark a bit of inspiration in the silvery she-cat, giving her the desire to chase her dream without any second thoughts.]

[I blinked.]"That's the thing, though," I said hesitantly, "She only put cobwebs on it. I'm not sure if I should've gotten more treatment or what...I can get infected, right?"
[I blinked at it worriedly, and then another thought popped into my head.]
"Well, seeing as you're not going anywhere, why don't I tell you a story?"
[My eyes lit up at the thought.]
"When me and my mother were traveling, she used to whisper stories in my ear during the night. I never forgot them. They filled my heart with wonder and longing."
[I sat, my muscles unwinding. I bounced up and down excitedly, looking intently at Hawkpaw's brown pelt.]
