"Oh stop it with the threats already, will ye... I demand payment because I have to... long story and not important... but I'm not allowed to do anything fer free, got it. And I'm here because Ai needs me... something is wrong... come on brat... ye've lived with him fer years... is he acting like the Ai ye know and love or what. Help me out here, will ye. Tell me... what's going on?" snarls the panther tiredly.

Bez snarls at him. "Fine, I'll go... but ye better not let anything happen to him, ye hear... he... he's not himself... help him will ye... don't use him..." Then the great cat slips out the window, leaving Kerobian to wonder just what was going on.

"Stupid brat... too proud to talk to me face to face is he.... thinks I'll go through an mouth piece does he... Tell yer master he either talks to me face to face or he can just go sit on a post... " snarls the cat testily. He curls up on a branch and waits to see if Kero will come. He really wants to talk to him, but he has his pride.

"Let me put it bluntly... we both know what was going on.... would he have done this if he was right in the head?" snarls Bez angrily. Then he sighs heavily. "Sorry... yer not the problem... it's jsut.. Something is so very very wrong... he's not right in the head.... did I push him too hard... what?"

Bez sighs heavily. "He's been having these dreams... tons of them, every night... I... I think it was yer younger self's problem, not yers... he actually came to me asking me to find his woman... tried to barter with his sira's body in a way... offered to step aside and let me at him... " Bez chuckles sourly. "As if he stood between us, keeping us apart. The only person keeping us apart is Ai... trust me... anyway his woman is heaven only knows where... seriously... and like I said... I have to charge a price... sorry, but that's how it is... normally it's something small, but no one is going to use Ai to get to me... no one... not even you. So I tried to get him to back off by making the prize too high..."

Bez flashes him a twisted smile. "Then Ai has to go off spouting something like... Kero's the only one that's important... that it doesn't matter what happens to him... and well... I kind of lost it... sorry. I may not be human, but I do have feelings and that... that hurt. But after I left I started thinking... sometimes I need a sledge hammer to the head to get something across... And his behavior has me truly worried. I mean I know he's attached to ye... he may even have come to love ye more than me... if so... I'll accept it... won't like it, but I can accept things, ye know... I only want what's best for him and I'll be the first to admit I haven't been the best of companions fer him... we all know that. Things happen... people change... but not as radically as he has... and it has me seriously worried. Has he appeared to be have been drained lately... feeding more... anything... and I'm not talking about food..."

Bez sighs and drops his head. "It's the only situation I can come up with... If ye can think of anything else, I"m willing to listen. But ye need to know, Ai's incomplete... not whole... and he craves completion... The trouble is, he was a prototype. He's the eldest, though he doesn't like admitting it, formed before certain things were even fully considered... and that includes a great deal of our brethren. As such he is both stronger and weaker than most of his own kin. He was meant to be some sort of buffer or funnel, not sure which. He absorbs certain energies directly and sends them straight back to the father. The stronger emotions, base emotions... he was created to assimilate then and diffuse their effects... He can filter hate... anger... love... joy... take from it what he needs and re-release it back into creation at large.... keeping a certain set balance, but.... his natural filter was only designed to handle certain things and if he's linked with someone who's been exhibiting strong emotions along those areas he's not designed to live off of.... he's not going to be able to handle it... It is like a poison to his system. He's maturing, slowly, and that is good. He's grown used to many emotions he wasn't designed for and can handle them, if not with ease, then with a degree of capability. But he can't handle them all just yet. It drove him mad once before... and I... I'll do whatever it takes to keep him from going down that road again.... So I beg of you... tell me... what's been going on since I left... it wasn't all that long ago... only a few weeks... Help me, Kero... please... help him...."

Bez lowers his head to his paws and groans. "Damn.... with all that running through his system it's a wonder he's still functional.... and I had to go threaten ye as I walked in... not good... not good at all." he hisses with a hefty sigh.

"But will he let me anywhere near him? That is the question. Damn, I'm such an idiot at times... act from the gut then regret it fer centuries..." sighs the panther sadly. "Any idea where he might have gone?"
