Mulan l l Protector Of China l l l l Protector Of China l l
Mulan couldn't believe that she couldn't recall where she'd seen the other half of the statue before. The answer was right in her mind, tantalizingly close yet always evading her grasp. The young chinese woman was focusing intently and yet it wasn't she, but the blonde girl that spoke up, telling them all where it was. "Of course! It's in the Palace! I knew I'd seen it before!" Mulan stated more to herself than to the others, yet her voice could be heard if anyone had cared to listen. The female warrior then fell into her thoughts again, devising a plan in which they could get into the Palace. Well... taking into account that she worked there with Shang -- she'd only come back home because her father wasn't very well -- she knew she could get in there. But she doubted she could bring in a whole group of people.
There had to be a way to get them all in there... it'd be better for them all to go for then they could split up and spend less time searching for the half of the statue. It was quiet until the dragoness spoke, and Mulan turned her dark eyes onto the creature. Lakayna had come up with a plan... a plan that involved "attacking" the castle. Well, it would certainly draw the attention of the guards, and possibly even the Emperor himself, leaving the Palace almost completely deserted. And yet, Mulan didn't care for the plan. Just the thought of anything attacking the palace, even if it was a fake attack did not appeal to her. She'd saved China once and so people would expect her to fight against the new threat. Yet she wouldn't be there because she'd be inside the Palace, helping the others search.
Needless to say, the young woman had conflicted feelings about it. After a moment though and after having heard Kairi and then the blonde state their opinions, she sighed lightly. "Your plan will work, I'm sure of it." She said, hating that she had to agree with a plan like this. And yet it was to help someone and she was willing to do whatever it took to help Lakayna. As she was a friend of Sora's and her mom had been a friend to Mushu. She wouldn't leave the dragoness to search without Mulan, herself, aiding her. Mulan fell silent and that's when things got weird really fast.
A man's voice was heard and then he revealed himself. By the way everyone froze, it appeared as though it wasn't a good sign. Her hand flew to her sword and she gripped the handle, her dark eyes narrowing as she caught sight of the black robe as the person walked out and towards the other female in the group, the one with silver hair like the boy who was beside her had. Everyone had different reactions and then the boy lowered his hood, giving them a chance to see whom it was. It didn't appear as though many recognized him. In fact, it seemed only the blonde and the silver haired girl did. Mulan felt way out of her element with all the dark portals and magic but there was no way she was going to abandon her friends. The female warrior kept her hand on the handle of her sword, ready to draw it at a moments notice. She kept silent, not knowing what was going on and therefore not voicing out anything. She'd let the others deal with this one.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Lakayna said the same thing to the boy as Kairi had, but unlike Kairi the dragoness wasn't scared of him and didn't try to hide any rudeness that might have been in her voice. She had even growled at him as a warning. The boy seemed hurt by their greetings, and the crimsonette suddenly felt bad. She was judging the boy before she even knew him. But she still couldn't shake the feeling of slight distrust that she had. Her past was to blame for that. The boy walked over and stood by Hikari and then lowered his hood revealing his dark skin and white hair. He looked to be about their age, and looked a lot like Xemnas. He introduced himself saying his name was Alexander and that he was there to help them. It seemed like Hikari new who Alexander was, and apparently so did Naminé. Kairi was a little surprised when the petite blonde let go of her hand and walked right up to the white haired boy, locking her eyes onto him. Like Kairi had Lakayna had said Naminé told him it was their own business why they were there. She then asked Alexander why he'd want to help them, something the Princess had been wondering herself. Naminé then asked why'd he want to help especially after what Sora and Riku did to his father. His father? What did her two best friends ever do to his father? They don't know him. But then it struck her. "Xemnas was his father?! Xemnas had a son?!" was what exploded in the red head's mind. She couldn't believe it. Kairi's Nobody asked Xemnas's son one more question, how did he find them? That was what the crimsonette was most curious about. "Yeah," Kairi asked with worry and wonder, "How did you know we were here? And that we needed help?"We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

Every fiber of Lakayna's being told her that this person, this boy who reminded her of someone she couldn't quite remember, was noting but bad news. Lakayna honestly didn't want to feel that way, but it was instinct; mostly. Why have you come?" she stated simply, in a manner somewhat similar to how Namine had asked it. She held the statue half tighter in her claw, not wanting to let go until the two halves were whole once again.

~Alexander~ ~Heir to The World That Never Was~
Alexander put the palm of his hand to his face and shook his head with a heavy sigh. "Haven' I already told you guys why I came here?" He dropped his hand from his f ace and looked around at the group. "Let me say it again for those who appear to be hard of hearing. I came here, to help you and make sure you all come out of this alive." He spoke slowly in an almost childish tone, emphasizing each word.
Alexander stood up straight and smiled as he looked at Namine. "Sure, Xemnas was my father, but why would that matter to any of you? Would you condemn the son for the sins of his father? Especially when you don't blame others for the sins they actually committed themselves?" He shook his head again and made a tsking sound. "And as for why I would want to help you.. well my reasons are my own. Let's just say I have a certain interest in making sure some of you stay in decent condition. And it's not that hard to figure out where someone is. My father was leader of the Organization, his methods of intelligence now belong to me."
He looked over at Lakayna who was clutching half of what looked like a statue pretty tightly. "Hey scaly, I'm not here to steal your little toy so why don't you loosen up a bit." Alexander called to her with a small grin as he switched his attention to Kairi. "Don't you think it would be alot easier to do what ever it is you're planning with an army rather than just the few of you?" He asked, hoping to ease some of the tension by pointing out he was useful.

Mushu turned at hearing the sound of Alexander's voice and jumped up on Mulan's shoulder. "Hey I don't like the look of this! Y'all better get out of here before I get my dragon dander up!" he threatened, narrowing his eyes.
Sora turned at the sound of the voice as well, quickly drawing his keyblade at recognizing it. He then lowered it slightly when the boy revealed his identity and his purpose for being here. "What do you know about the Organization and what we're here for? We've never seen you around school," he said warily, keeping his keyblade at the ready.
Axel almost smiled at the sound of his old boss's voice, but it quickly disappeared when Alexander revealed himself as the heir. He sighed and leaned against the wall. "Figures. I guess they never really do go away, after all."
Hikari quickly got up and looked at the new male, holding her hand out to the side, but hesitated on drawing out her keyblade. Touch one hair on his head and you'll regret it! the voice in her head threatened, which made her wince. She gritted her teeth as she resisted the urge to fight him anyway. "What are you doing here? Just go back to that nonexistent world where you belong; we don't need you here!" she ordered, her eyes hidden from him with her dark sunglasses, despite the very dim light of the cave.

Lakayna clawed lightly at the stone beneath her, actually leaving indentations in the hard rock. Her mind reached out to only those of her friends, and not that of the newcomer, so he wouldn't be able to hear whatever her mind was saying. "Can we please go?" she asked, "A dragon's natural instincts are not exactly easy for a human to keep completely control of."

~Alexander~ ~Heir to The World That Never Was~
Alexander turned his attention to the annoying little gecko who liked to refer to himself as a dragon and shook his head. "This really has very little to do with you. Besides, I have no intention of leaving anytime soon." He told Mushu with a small smile across his face as he turned his attention to the keyblader of light.
"Sora, I know everything about the organization, far more than you do. As for why you are here.. well that means almost nothing to me. I merely want to help you because this is the quickest way to prove I can be trusted. Although I am beginning to debate why I want that, seeing as how I have to keep explaining things I've already told you. You wouldn't have seen me around school because I am new, I start Monday." Alexander explained with a roll of his eyes. He really was beginning to get annoyed by all of their questions. He had offered them help, why should it matter what his reasons were for doing so?
Alexander looked over at Hikari as she began to order him around. "I do not obey YOU Hikari." He said in a somewhat angry tone as he shook his head. "No, I have absolutely no intention of going away from here at this time so that I can go back to that hole between the realms. I already have everything that I needed from that realm." He stated simply as he held out his hand and his keyblade appeared in his hand.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Kairi looked up at Alexander when he turned his attention to her. He asked her a question and she replied, "Sure it would be easier to do with an army rather than just a few of us, but then we'd be way more easier to spot. We want as little attention on us as possible."Everyone had a different reaction to Alexander. Sora had pulled out his Keyblade, Axel just sighed and leaned against the wall, and Hikari shouted at him telling him to return to the nonexistent world where he belonged. Kairi was still unsure of what to make of the boy. Lakayna's voice then entered their minds asking if they could please get going. She was right they needed to go, they didn't have time for this. Alexander had answered their questions so it was time to move on. If all that Xemnas's son wanted to do was prove he could be trusted then the crimsonette was fine with that. She came to that conclusion by trying with all her might to push down her feelings of fear and worry about Alexander being like his father. She wasn't going to judge the boy because of that fact. She wasn't sure about what the others would think though. The Princess decided to take a chance and put her thoughts to words, hoping the others wouldn't get mad at her. "Look you guys, we have to get going. We don't have time to interrogate Alexander, we have to help Lakayna. If all he wants to do is prove himself then I think we should give him a chance. And even if he did try to pull anything he'd get nowhere with all of us around. We could stop him in a second. So can we please leave for the Imperial City now?"We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

lakayna couldn't stay still and tensed up like that any longer. If she didn't leave, she liable to rip someone's head off. It could've unfortunately been anyone what was there right now. "I'll meet you guys there," she said, unable to wait any longer. Lakayna spread her wings and quickly rose; statue half in her enclosed claw; and exiting out of the large hole she'd made. Any heat she supplied from her body would soon vanish, and cold air would once again permiate the inside of the cavern. The dragoness headed off towards the Imperial City. The cold air helped greatly clear her head, and to cool down the temper she'd begun to exude back there.

Riku's keyblade flashed into his hand a second after Alexander's and he jerked it up until it was resting in the air only a few inches from the other's face. The silvernette's eyes were hard and frozen as he locked eyes with Xemnas' son. It was silent for a long time, the quiet was tense and dangerous. "Summon that at my sister again and I will personally run mine through you," he hissed. "Speak to her again with that tone and I'll send you so far into the darkness that even YOU won't find a way out."
Riku didn't move as he stood in front of his twin, weapon raised and face threatening. The boy had better back down or he'd be hurt, severely so.

~Alexander~ ~Heir to The World That Never Was~
Alexander raised an eyebrow at what Riku had done and used his own keyblade to move Riku's away from his face before making his own disappear again. "Firstly, I didn't summon my keyblade at Hikari. I summoned it to show that I got what I needed from the realm in between." He smiled again goodnaturedly. "Secondly I only used a tone that anyone would use after being commanded to something by one who is not their master." He stated simply with a shrug before looking over at Hikari again, a faint glimmer of emotion.. what was it affection? in his eyes. "Besides, I wouldn't harm her in such a manner."
The whole time this had been going on Alexander did not so much as take a single step in any direction. So he simply turned his attention to Kairi, not really caring what Riku thought of his statements. "Finally someone speaks wisely. Although, I should mention that if what you are looking for in your mission is to be unnoticed then what could be better than an army? If Heartless and nobodies were to attack the castle, not harming the guards too badly of course." He added for the Chinese woman's benefit. "Then wouldn't it be a simple task for everyone to slip inside completely unnoticed with no one on this world the wiser that you were even here?" Alexander posed with a shrug, now taking a few steps to the side so he could lean against the wall. "But whatever, I'll help in whatever plan you decide to take."

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Naminé had sighed at Alexander's reponse to her and her brilliant blue eyes remained locked on the male Nobody for a long while. And then she looked away, trying to sort out her thoughts. It was clear that they weren't going to get much from Alexander, who seemed to enjoy the thought that they kept asking him the same questions over again, even when the weren't. The petite blonde remained quiet, listening as Alexander and others spoke, and she only looked up to gaze at Riku when he stood in front of his twin, his Keyblade out and his eyes blazing as he looked at Alexander. Naminé looked away from the silvernette, too and stared down at the ground.
Lakayna had already left and Naminé looked back up to Alexander. She knew they had but minutes before the cold would creep back into the place, but she had to ask one last question. "What is it you want, Alexander? I know you've stated you want to help and that you're reasons are you own, but I'm sure you can see our point of view. You've come up out of nowhere, stating that you want to help but how can we believe that?" The petite blonde sighed, reaching up with a hand and brushing her fingers through her golden locks; something she tended to do when she was feeling frustrated. "Listen, you coming with us and helping us isn't going to make us trust you automatically. If you want our trust, you'll have to earn it. So I suggest you don't do something that will make you go one step forward, and then two steps back. And if you even so much as try to harm one of us, for any reason, you leave or we make you. It's not a warning. It's the truth." The tiny teen stated, her brilliant blue eyes locked on her fellow Nobodie's as she gazed unflinchingly at him.
Without another word, the girl turned around and waved a hand. A corridor of darkness appeared and she turned back to look at Alexander briefly. "We already have a plan. Lakayna is going to fake an attack. I'm sure a dragon will keep the guards busy and this way we don't even have to risk it with the Heartless and Nobodies. So don't even summon them." Naminé turned awya and stepped through the portal, soon vanishing from view. She appeared in the courtyard in front of the palace, behind a building so she was hidden from view by the guards. The girl was pleased to find that it was pleasantly warm down here and she tilted her head back up to the sky, scanning it for Lakyna. Once the others were through the portal and once Lakayna began her staged attack, they'd all hurry to find the statue.

Mulan l l Protector Of China l l l l Protector Of China l l
Mulan remained silently, completely bemused by everything going all. All she knew was that there was this new person joining their already-kind-of-large group and that no one really seemed to trust him. Which was enough to put the young Chinese woman on edge around him and to make a mental note to keep an eye out on him when he was in the Palace, just in case he tried anything. Which she didn't think he would, but there was always a chance. Mulan looked at Lakayna when the dragoness rose and dissapeared from view and then to the form of the tiny blonde as she spoke to Alexander and created a portal, stepping through shortly after.
Mulan turned to Alexander again, recalling his words about the Heartless and Nobodies. Just the thought of those creatures almost got her adrenaline rushing, hear heart beating faster in an anticipation of a fight. He'd assured her that the Guards would not be harmed but still. "Please, don't summon those creatures. Even if they do not harm anyone, the sight of them alone would be enough to cause alarm and panic to spread throughout China. Just the thought of them back would strike fear into many hearts and I'd rather we don't have to go through that again," she explained. Mulan only had the best interest of her people at heart.
The female warrior wasn't rude to the boy for she did not know him and therefore could not judge him until she saw his actions. Though she was being polite, she wasn't going to trust him right off the bat. Mulan turned around and cast a glance at the portal of darknes, swirling in anticipation for them all to step through. The young beauty sighed and turned down to look at Mushu, who'd jumped up on her shoulder when Alexander had shown up. "Come on, Mushu. Lakayna needs our help," she stated, making sure her Guardian was ready before she stepped through the portal and joined Naminé on the other side.
