Have you heard of Gundemonium? It's a game series sold on the Playstation Store that is an anime-looking bullet curtain shooting game staring cute girls.

I haven't played it. But it sounds interesting by similarity in concept.
i did post a video link before on the spam. I have all three and to be fair, it is fun for PSN standards. Tho Touhou seems more of a challenge compared in normal difficulties.

Here is the link again for those who missed it.

Looks like fun. I might actually be good at Touhou and be able to reach Meiling on Easy Mose without running low on continues after playing it. XD

Well, it's better than those heightened-difficulty boss-runs some games have where a SSJ4 Goku could lose to Glass Joe.

Thanks. I was planing on going to this years anime Festival in NYC. It was moved to October this year instead of September.
Reason i said was is due to either money issues and what may go on.
I should hang my little convention badge next to the right scroll (i treat them not only as a memento but a trophy/achievement)
I do have another "trophy' but i keep it hidden in the closet.
(it's a claymore of some sort.)

Ah so planing on no longer going? That sucks. Hopefully your situation changes to allow for such an endeavor.

A claymore? That is such a cool sword. I am sure as you grip it with both hands you get the urge to go "slay" something eh? Unless you are housing the mine? Those things are scary, like the nightmare child between an explosive and a shotgun. At least it comes with directions.

If you change your mind and head to NYC, you should bring your claymore, if someone tries to rob you with a knife, you can one up them.

Daughter of Tepes

Yay, a fellow Italian. I'm a huge European mix, mainly British.
Entire mix is British, Italian, Scottish, Russian, Danish.

And yet somehow I'm an American...

Ah, good ol fish and chips. I was too young to apreciate some of the finer points of living in england (like the drunken football scene at the pubs). So most of my memories of british culture involve walking down to the local spar store to buy one pence candy and a kinder surprise. Ofcourse I also visited a castle or two and went to "old" York. I could have sworn you would have some Romanian in you daughter of tepes.

Funny thing about the Claymore...I have practiced with it to the point where i can wield it with one hand. Plus it's not sharp, and i may have 3 images of it. Some part broke cause of excessive use.
They are not in line but it's the claymore.

got it last day for a deal. 40 bucks.

And for randomness, I found this REAL ACCURATE rant on Twilight.

Ooh, Gundemonium. I love Platine Dispositif's games. I recommend trying out Dandelion ~ Starchild Journey if you can find a copy.

And that's a pretty nice looking sword. It's definitely not a "claymore" by any definition, though it's honestly difficult to tell exactly what it is. Any idea what language the engraving is? It looks almost like Arabic but it's too blurry for me to make out.

Well i call it a claymore till i can find the right name to call it.
As for the runes, it's not a high priority as of yet.
For now, i can call it a claymore cause A) it's not that sharp and B) it requires two hands to hold it. ((but i have a technique that can make one hand easy to use))

So for now. The sword will be called "Sword of Sundered Worlds" (read more on my profile)

You know, Parth, if you take a more clear photo of those glyphs, I might be able to find out what language they belong to (I can't guarantee a traduction, though...)

I've seen quite a few claymores, and they generally tend to look something like this. Usually slight blade taper, a pointed tip, often diamond cross section, almost always thinner tang in a rounded handle. And to say that a claymore is not sharp is honestly pretty laughable. Maybe not a delicate razor edge, but still.

Your sword reminds me more of a few ceremonial swords that I've seen in the past, like a replica of the confessor's sword and a few executioner swords. The handle is throwing me off a bit though.

And I like the name. Nice and cliché. XD

I think it might be an executioner sword, too. I'd dare say the handle is probably a makeshift one, though.

Well i know about the handle....
Other than that, the word claymore on most games today don't typically mean the pic. The best example of using the name Claymore are Claymore of the Prophet
Citadel Enforcer's Claymore
and a weird one Claymore of Ancient Power
All links from Wowhead. They have the name Claymore, they look odd, and that is why i call it that. But if i have to be 100% i should google executioner.

I wish they used Claymore in the right way.

In my experience video game designers tend to take a lot of artistic liberties designing "cool swords" and then tack on a remotely cool sword-sounding name they may have picked up somewhere (often from mythology).

Also, just checked around a bit and found a sword that's very close in design. I was a bit surprised, but then again, it makes a little sense. Look familiar to anyone? I haven't found this exact version of the poster anywhere else though.

Cool sword!

I can read arabic if you want me to check that, though from what I can see I don't think it is. Though I can read arabic, I don't actually know what it is meaning of what I am saying... sweatdrop

In fiction the word claymore tends to be synonymous with powerful large two handed swords, probably due to the reputation the scottish sword carries. Funny enough there is another sword called a claymore, a mere one handed sword with a type of special hand guard. Ofcourse there is also the land mine, but that is another story all together.

Oh well. whats in a name? That which we call a sword by any other name would cut as deep.

I love Twilight. I can be such an emotional sap, and Twilight bypasses the ribcage and goes straight for the heart. It is really well made, you got to applaud an amv made by Koop.

Oh! You ment sparkle vampire twilight. *Sigh* Once upon a time you could debate the politics of the Camarilla and the risk only is violating masquerade, this case being the mask one wears to hide they are a table top playing geek. Now you feel you got to avoid using the v-word out of fear of association.
