"Alright," She smiled sadly and kissed his cheek. "I'll go, but you go straight home." She winced as she hit the water. Her scales were dry, but the salt hit the wounds and made them worse. "Nessa!"

"Be safe," he whispered. More of a prayer than anything... Proteus groaned as he slowly made his way up the beach. "Come on...seven brothers...one of them has to be near..."
Nessa blinked as she thought she heard her name being called. "But I haven't done anything..." she said following the calls until she saw Naida surrounded by a cloud of red water. "Naida! That's blood!"

"Very good, Nessa." She winced again, placing a hoof over her sliced tail. "Will you get Natalia and bring her to my shell? I'm going to need someone else to heal me. I can't do it."
