Julius hastily wondered throughout the vast house. Eventually he found Cassie's fathers room. He busted the door down. "You in here?" he called into the room.

Cassie's father looked up from several scattered papers. he saw Cassie and rushed over immediately. "What did you do to her? I didn't give you permission to kill her!" he yelled, taking Cassie away from Julius. but he realized that she was the one who used her power. "foolish girl." he muttered under his breath, still wanting to blame Julius for his daughters failing health. he didn't wait for him to answer, he simply took Cassie in his arms and fled the room, running into another room and closing it.

"If I wanted to kill her you think I would've brought her here?!" He yelled across the hall as he clenched his fists. "I swear to god...." he muttered.

Behind the closed iron door, Cassie's father gently laid Cassie on a metal table and stuck an IV in her arm. then he ran over to a cabinet and pulled out a vial of clear liquid. he grabbed a syringe and rushed back to Cassie. he stuck the syringe into the vial and then transferred it to Cassie's arm. after emptying the syringe into Cassie's veins, he retrieved a blanket and wrapped Cassie carefully in it. he placed a pillow under her head and stroked her sweaty forehead tenderly. "You are an idiot, Cassie." he said.

Julius angrily walked up to the iron door. He didn't like being accused of wrong doing he didn't commit. He pounded on the door. "Open up this door you b*****d!" he yelled.

"Quiet." he said quietly. he transferred his words into Julius's head by thoughts. *She needs to rest.* he told him.

Derek, Cassie's father, walked over to her and placed a cool hand gently on her forehead. "I'm sorry, Cassie." he whispered so low that it was more of a thought than actual words.

Cassie groaned. she wanted to roll over on her side. the bed or whatever she was on was hard and uncomfortable.
Derek immediately became alert. he took a step away from his daughter though. "Cassie, Cassie, Cassie.... what am i to do with you....?" he asked.
