Okees! Mixture of both. Their color schemes are similar anyway. smile

Wow! Sweet! I never expected my RP to be this active. xp

Sounds cool, can't wait to see it. 3nodding

I read over your story and it's very interesting, nearly like I was actually reading from a historical mythology book. eek My profile is a quarter of the way done, I had major issues deciding between being a centaur or a human. But before I can wrap up the profile, I owe a post to Nelly in her Riders RP. whee

Very off topic, but anyone have any tips for focusing in a class? I'm in serious trouble with a low grade in Geometry and Feb. 2nd is the end of the first semester. I've never been any good at math, however I really want to try.

Thanks. biggrin

Anyway, as far as your class goes, I know practice always helped me in any kind of math. I was in a Calculus class last semester, and I didn't understand some of the concepts, but as long as I knew how to work the problem, I usually got a decent grade.

Of course, it helps if you actually understand the concepts, too. This semester, I've got a good professor for Calculus II. He knows how to better teach the students.

Paying attention in a long math class is difficult. Do you take a lot of notes? That usually keeps me from nodding off, and it helps me to understand the material better when I revisit it for homework problems...

I know it helps me when the teacher does examples on the board. A lot of examples. sweatdrop

I drew a quickie of Wyvern. Took me like, five minutes on Photoshop. I got lazy and decided I didn't want to draw his other wing, or the rest of him for that matter.

Heh... my hand-drawn stuff is way better. sweatdrop

Whenever we take notes, the teacher just doodles the shapes and lines. I try to label things and scribble down some words, but he talks too fast and moves on quickly.

I should talk to him about note-taking, I actual do love to take notes. Rather that than work in class. xd

Thanks for that bit of advice, I'll keep it in mind. 3nodding

And now that I made a pathetic post, [sorry Nelly!], I'm going to get to work on my new character profile.

Gah, I hate it when teachers do that!

They act like the students already know it all. And they don't. But yeah, I'd talk to him and see if he could make himself more coherent... smile

I know! We're teenagers, we don't know much of anything. xp

surprised Oh hey, that drawing is pretty good. I've been trying to draw unicorns lately, lapsed back into my unicorn phase. redface

Most of my sketchbooks were ripped up, they had anime-drawings in them and I got out of anime, concluding to myself that anime is not a style of my own.

No offense to anime. It's just not for me. domokun

I want to cry just thinking about Calculus, it must be harder than Geometry. xp

What did you usually have to work with?
PostPosted: Mon Jan 22, 2007 5:11 pm

Oh, god.

Derivatives and integrals mainly. Such a pain.

You know the worst part?

No calculators.

Ever.

eek Oh the horror.

No calculators?! gonk crying

I hope I don't have to face it until senior year, then. xp Finally got my profile sent to you! My new character is different from ones I usually make, hopefully I can keep that up. ><

Sweet!

Hey, do you have to have a password from a mod to create an OOC forum for your RP?

That would make any questions asked a lot easier to answer. smile

Erm...I have no idea. sweatdrop

I only participate in RPs, never made one in here. whee But I don't think you would need one, so long as you place it in the correct area...then again, you most likely shouldn't listen to me. xd

You can go into the OOC Chat room and make a Topic for your Rp without needing to ask a mod (So long as you actually have the Rp up).

And all my Math teacher does is give examples. It's horrid. She doesn't explain anything. gonk

Good thing I'm a genius and can figure out an easier way to do the question. domokun

Okees, thanks. biggrin

Wow, that's evil. It's good when the teachers give a lot of examples, but if they don't explain what anything MEANS, it's pretty wicked--and not in the good way. We're doing three-dimensional areas by integration in CalcII and I'm sooooo glad that my professor explained it. Otherwise I know I'd be completely lost. eek
