Cloud rolled over on her side and let her eyes close. She hadn't realized how heavy they had grown, or how tired she truly was.
But they closed, and she drifted off to sleep.

Walking into the dorms, she placed her jacket on a hanger in the closet and headed for the upstairs quarters. Once there, she kicked her boots off and placed a comfortable shirt on, her soon snuggling up under a down comforter and falling into a blissful slumber.

The horse had been saddled up to the side of the structure and given some food. She only had a few blankets to pile on the poor creature. But it was a relief to enter the lodgings and find that there was a fully furnished empty room waiting for her. Chanti laid down on the bed and stared up at the ceiling. Everyone must be asleep now, so she turned off the light and proceeded to follow suit.

Cloud lifted her head off her arms, she must have dozed off. Her eyes were blurry, too blurry. She let out a sigh and got off the chair, heading to her bed.
"Here we go again" she whispered. She looked over her shoulder to make sure that the door was locked. She once again pulled the syringe out of the box, letting the red tassle that was hanging on the end rest on her hand. She closed her eyes and focused. This was it, her life.
She injected the liquid into her skin again and quickly replaced the syringe in the box. She grabbed the glass of water by her bed and slid to the floor. She took a sip and set it aside, curling her knees close, she rested her head on her bed and stared at the ceiling.

Rayne stretched her arms out looking at her clock. When she saw that it was only a few minutes past the time she had last fallen asleep... She knew that she had been out for a day. Feeling completely energized all the way, her stomach growled some as she walked down the hall. Into the kitchen she grabbed an apple and devoured it, soon slipping her shoes on and the regular coat also, leaving the dorm for a stroll in the sun before it set for the day.

Cloud sat outside the dorms on a hill. She had taken a blanket from her room and she now leaned against a tree, looking at the bar in the near distance. She sighed and poured herself a glass of wine.

A lone raven entered the women's dorms. It had intended to follow the others to the school, but had gotten lost. Or was it so lost? It carried a message, and choose this time to fufill Morgan's wishes. Afterwards it flew out into the wilderness, hopefully with more luck in finding the others this time. The letter was dropped into Rayne's room and read such:

Once done, she held the letter up, rereading it, then folding it into a small square, tying a long piece of hemp around it, a neat bow at the top. As the words played back in her head, this is what she remembered was on the paper:

Dear Mordrid,
I'm glad to have gotten this letter from you. I haven't had much time to think clearly about things for I have been off trying to clear my mind of all the impurities that it carried. It seems that I'm doing better... I'm not carrying as many wicked thoughts. Leaving Kinn was hard... He is like a brother to me, but gave great advice to help me along. How is the whole Militia thing going? I'm not sure if sorry is the best thing to say for your marriage... But at least you have a woman to love that can love you back. Then again, I could just be confused on the topic and be saying the wrong things. And it's never too late to make the right choices. And Mordrid... I know not why you would do such a thing to your mother... But I'm sure you had you reasons. I have not much more words to write for my mind is starting to turn to mixed thoughts, it a bit confusing really... Good luck with the battles. And I hope you make it out safe so we may see each other once more if at all possible.

"Now who do I want to give this to.... Maybe Morgan seeing to how she is going to visit him soon." Thinking of Morgan, she remembered about the school, grabbing her bag, stuffing the letter in, then running off for the school.
