Renatus smiled and pressed his lips against Lucinda's again. He held her close and closed his eyes, only this time with full life and feeling.

Lucinda's eyes dropped closed as she saw him move closer to her. She gent;y returned the kiss.

Warmth blossomed from Renatus as his inner flame flared. Their kiss was causing him to generate heat, something most cold blooded creatures couldn't do. He pulled his head back, breathing heavily.

Lucinda opened her eyes and then lightly touched his cheek. "You are so warm," she said, smiling at him, gently.

Renatus leaned forwards, and sat up. He brushed off his back, than stood up. He held out his hand to Lucinda to help her up.

 Renatus almost lost his balance, picking up Lucinda, "Sorry," he said scratching the back of his head, "I suppose I'm a tad... unbalanced after that."
