There were not many, and most involved property damage. He would wait and see if something else came first. "You tell me and then I'll tell you huh? to be honest I think this whole thing started because you were poking around in places you shouldn't be. Now what kind of sensitive material could you want from us?" Fenton continued. "Oh, I didn't want anything really. I just wanted to say hi." From outside a chuda chuda chuda sound started and began to get louder at time passed. "Oh, but you're right where are my manners. You can call me Tech Support. How can I help you?" "You can call me Nix, and my associate goes by Mongoose," he said as he gave a nod to Rei indicating toward the sound. She looked out the window to see what it was. "Tinker said you were poking around a bit. Really, we would just like to make an impression on you. Don't be messing with our stuff, that's all. Also, you know....don't go crashing any global systems. I'll give a warning, most of the previous technos that messed with Tinker's stuff weren't smart enough to stop digging around and we had to contain them. You seem, and from Tinker's own admittance, you're pretty sharp. I think you know when to pull your hand out before the trap shuts." "Yes.. that's true. I am smart. But being smart and being able to resist something so...interesting...is another matter entirely." The chuda chuda noise made itself completely known as a military helicopter hovered into view and laid its minigun upon the cafe windows and into the crowd sweeping from left to right. "GO!" Alex said, and before he fnished the syllable Rei was gone from the spot she had been in. One by one the people who had been sitting at the coffee shop also disappeared with a woosh as things flew into the air and Rei ran as fast as she could. Her clothes behind to shred half way through the job, revealing her suit underneath. Nix stuck up his hand and made a wall of magic that the bullets struck and slowed to a stop in, as if they were trying to drive through something incredibly dense. Still, the Gatling cannon's shells were much larger and faster and numerous that most things Nix used this shield to stop and he dare not simply make the bullets ricochet of his shield for fear they would hit something else. He would not be able to continue this forever. What looked like black food coloring spreading through water filled his eyes until they were completely pitch black and a arcane tattoo formed around his left eye as he muttered something under his breath and reached out with his other hand, clenching his fist, twisting it and throwing it to the side. As he did this the gun slowed to a stop, the metal was depressed and crinkled like sheet metal and ripped from the mount on the copter, thrown to the ground. Then, with a shove of the now open hand a pulse went out from him, anything electrical sparking and shutting down. The copter began to spin around uncontrollably as the electronic systems and navigation in it went haywire. Alex put out his hands and the copter steadied as he made it lower to the ground without crashing as the blades began to slow. He dropped to one knee and wiped a small dribble of sweat from his temple as he caught his breath and put his phone back to his mouth. It was still working, having been on him when he sent out the pulse. "Apparently crazy and evil both override smart," Alex said as his breathing returned to normal. "Now it seems we have our answer about whether or not you need to be contained though don't we?" Rei had left the pile of people she had evacuated for a blink before she was back, dressed in street clothes again. She arrived from a point not visible to those she had saved and walked normally to the group once in sight. She watched for the one who did this, she had seen enough things like this to be able to ferret out someone who was not about to piss themselves among a large number of people running every which way. Alex received no answer from Fenton. Where he had been sitting was vacated as was the rest of the cafe but he was nowhere to be seen. Even Rei's close watch of the crowd gave no results. The copter was empty as if no one had been flying it. Frustratingly, he was just gone.

Alex sighed as he waved his hands and the rubble in front of him reversed exactly as it had happened until the window, wall and interior of the shop was reconstructed. He then wave his hands again and he shimmered before disappearing.
He reappeared in an alley and flipped his phone open and called Rei. "I'm in the alley behind..." there was a woosh before he finished and Rei was next to him, her hair windblown.
"So that didn't go so well huh?" She said with her hands in her hips.
"No, not at all. Next time I overload all the electronics around him before we talk," Alex said as he shook his head and blinked multiple times before his eyes returned to normal and the tattoo like marks that had formed faded away.
"We'll let Tinker deal with what comes next in that aspect, for now we'll meet up with Necropotence, Ascalon and Arbor."
"Right," Rei said as they made there way back to the car and got in. As they drove past the helicopter Nix made a sprinkling motion with his hands and the metal on the copter behind them began to rust incredibly fast until it was a large pile of red colored dust.

Zegura Belial looked at the blade in dismay, blinking as it vanished into a stream of purple strands, drifting skywards. "You'll never kill me, Seraphael..." Belial smirked, "Not with attempts as pathetic as that."He walked slowly towards his target, smiling the whole time.
"I know about you, you know.""I know what you've done, Valentine."Seraphael audibly gasped, he had not been addressed by his true name for over a century.
"I know that you killed your family. I know that you killed your friends..."
"And I know that you planned to kill me."
"You... how?""I've always told you, there's never a clean get-away."
Seraphael grimaced and raised both of his hands slowly.
"You've... put me in an... undesirable situation..." He frowned, flicking his index and middle finger on each hand inwards.
The earth around Belial cracked, flipping up to encase him in a concrete cocoon.
"And I won't be undermined... not this close to perfection.""You should have thought about that... before you deceived us..." The voice whispered right in to Seraphael's left ear. It seemed impossible. Impossible that Belial could have survived, let alone escaped his most recent attack.

"I know about you, you know.""I know what you've done, Valentine."Seraphael audibly gasped, he had not been addressed by his true name for over a century.
"I know that you killed your family. I know that you killed your friends..."
"And I know that you planned to kill me."
"You... how?""I've always told you, there's never a clean get-away."
Seraphael grimaced and raised both of his hands slowly.
"You've... put me in an... undesirable situation..." He frowned, flicking his index and middle finger on each hand inwards.
The earth around Belial cracked, flipping up to encase him in a concrete cocoon.
"And I won't be undermined... not this close to perfection.""You should have thought about that... before you deceived us..." The voice whispered right in to Seraphael's left ear. It seemed impossible. Impossible that Belial could have survived, let alone escaped his most recent attack.
"Belial... stop this..." Seraphael grimaced, turning to face him.
He locked eyes with what had been one of his greatest allies, and felt what was almost a sense of remorse, a sense of regret."This is how it must end."Seraphael shook his head and smirked, putting his hands on his helmet and lifting it off, revealing himself to be a young, almost handsome man, not the elderly, scarred gent that Belial had followed so willingly.
"Don't you realize, we're working for the same thing?""We're working for the same goal, but what you're doing isn't even sane... it's madness." Belial spat, pointing at Seraphael defiantly.
"You'd betray us all, every single one of us, the people you need the most... AND FOR WHAT?" He fumed. "WHAT COULD MATTER SO ******** MUCH, SERAPHAEL?"Seraphael shook his head and smiled curtly.
"No, you can call me Valentine now..."
"The man, Seraphael...my father... he died... a long time ago..."
"And he left me to finish his work..."
From behind him, there came a terrific roar, and the ground began to shake violently beneath their feet.
"And as for what is worth all the betrayal in the world..."
He cast his hands skywards and looked at Belial with a fierce madness.
"THIS IS WHAT MATTERS!"
And from beyond him the roaring ceased, only to be replaced with a high-pitched screech, and a terrific boom as a beam of crimson light pulsed out of the warehouse, tearing it open and shooting off towards the mountain in the clouds.
"What... have you done?"

Laura woke from her sleep and yawned big with her eye close. She sat up rubbing her left eye like a small child. She opened her eyes and looked around for Carol. "Carol..... Carol?" She went to a mirror and notice a postit note upon her forehead.

Reaper turned around as well his eyes showing great disappointment at the disregard for his hard work done in one night. Carol got in on the other side and looked around at the scene, “Uh… Is this a bad time?” Reaper quickly replied to preoccupied with Danny,” No. Don’t worry about it this will be over in a moment.” He turned back to Danny, “Yeah what the Hell man!” Danny shrugged. "I don't see the point. Why wear something to protect me when I want to get killed?" “Damnit Danny! I didn’t make it to protect you! It has a big white ‘X’ across its chest as a damn target!” Reaper snapped at him. To Victor the super suit meant everything it was a uniform thing something to keep them separate from every other punk to step outside the law. “I told Tessa I’d make it a functional suit not a safety suit. I made it so that you were clearly with us so you could get the attention of people who hate me or Rick, and with the target on your chest…if we get in a brawl naturally any douche with a death ray will shoot for the easy kill man. Now put it on!” "Tsk, FINE." Danny said as he exited the car and left to put on the suit. Ricky turned to Victor and frowned. "That was kinda harsh man. Are you serious about all that?" Reaper looked behind him to see if Danny was gone then whispered,"Hell no, It's as tough as mine, flame resistant mostly bullet proof and the white 'x' is where it is the most protected hopefully he wont realise he's having a harder time dying." "Sweet man. Sweet." Ricky put out his hand and did the secret fist pound handshake. Soon Danny came back all decked out and streamlined. With his usual grumpy mood he sat down. "Everyone here? To Chamberlain's then?" Carol sat there her jaw dropped for the whole conversation. "Hey...Carol?" Reaper waved his hand in front of her eyes.," Yeah I space out bad too sometimes." he chuckled. "What is wrong with you people!" She final cracked the right words out. "Oh relax Carol, we've only just begun. you might wanna put on your seatbelt." Victor pointed down at her buckle.

Dragon Sneeze The Kohr Dragon Sneeze The Kohr Dragon Sneeze The Kohr Lance just smiled back at her. Her confidence in the strength and will of the city to survive boiled over onto him. Just before he had a chance to say anything a figure knocked upon her office’s window. It appeared to be a large man in a simple facemask wearing a leather coat. Great another headcase, hopefully he’s one of the ones who will help the city like Maria just spoke of…I should leave. “Ma’am…thank you, and you have a visitor. I’ll be on patrol if you need me.” Lance saluted his superior as he quickly turned to leave. The man tapped once more and tilted his head smiling at Maria. He shrugged then crossed his arms and shook his body. Come on Faulkhazen! It’s freezing out here I can’t believe The Weather Man is still doing this kinda s**t.Maria opened the window and let the man in. "It's a regular mess out there isn't it? Scum of the earth taking advantage in the confusion. It sickens me." He stepped in from the cold. The man laughed lightly “Always about justice Faulkhazen. The city in peril and law and order is all that you can think of.” He smiled looking around at the cluttered office, “Ever wonder if the citizens are just acting out of fear? Nah, you were never too interested in the why.” He pulled off his mask to rub his eyes. He was Edward Hoffman; he looked no different then when he was serving on the force with Maria over a decade ago. “I saw that things had become…well you know, I thought you could use a hand here. If you’ll have me… Chief?” Maria cracked a smile. "Depends, do you know how to do paperwork?" Chuckling and looked around. "Would you like to have a seat? If you can find one that is." “I never did the pencil pushing part; Captain always hated me for it…don’t know why. Is the paper work really that important? I always liked the idea of you catch the bad guy and then you put them in jail.” He looked around and didn’t see a seat. “That guy earlier your new lackey Faulkhazen?” "Hmm? Oh Lance? Yeah he's a new recruit. Fresh from the academy. I took a shine to him, I don't know why." Maria mused. "So, do you know what that thing in the sky is? Causing an awful lot of trouble for me." "Fresh from the academy, what are you trying to scare him out of the job" Ward laughed," But seriously about that mountain... I just don't know what to tell you I've been busting heads trying to find a clue-" He saw the crimson beam shredding the clouds towards the mountain." Maria.....?" He pointed towards the window

Dragon Sneeze The Kohr Dragon Sneeze Felicia stumbled over to the huge glass window in thier penthouse suite. Scratching her a** in a very unladylike way she peered over the skyline at the unusual upside down mountain just outside. "Um...sissy? How long has that been there?" Sheila wondered over to her sister Felicia and pressed her face against the glass. Very lady like she responded,"I don't know nutin bout mountains." She giggled then paused "Wait do you think it's gonna fall on us? Can we survive a mountain dropping on us.... We should ask Benji...I think?" Felicia shrugged. "I don't know. How bout we fly over there and see what it is? Then maybe we can break it up huh?" To punctuate her statement she pounded one fist into the other. Sheila looked down and tilted her head. Then she examned her sister." Hey....we're naked....where are our suits?"

"And I won't let you put us in danger. Not any more...""Belial, be reasonable!" Valentine laughed, turning and walked towards the warehouse hastily.
"Follow me, Lazarus. Let's seize this opportunity for true power."Belial began to follow, muttering under his breath as he did so.
"This 'power' will be mine... and you won't live to see it..."

For a moment the sat still before launching like torpedo out of its tube. Rickky liet out a childlike squeal as they reached 95 mph and cracked the car through the narrow opening and out into the tunnel. Back on the main roads with traffic, he throttled down to a respectable 82 mph.

Daisy sighed as she folded up her cell phone and put it in her pocket. She seemed to be the only one on the street dressed approprately for the weather, but in fact she was always cold. Like now. "Dammit...what the hell...." She said as she breathed on her hands. She crossed the street and didn't see the car heading toward her around the corner.

"They are in their normal place behind the giant painting of your mother. I'd ask where the clothes you were dressed in when you were put to bed last night were but I doubt I'd find out the answer."

Daisy sighed as she folded up her cell phone and put it in her pocket. She seemed to be the only one on the street dressed approprately for the weather, but in fact she was always cold. Like now. "Dammit...what the hell...." She said as she breathed on her hands. She crossed the street and didn't see the car heading toward her around the corner. "Jesus!" Rei said as she hit the breaks, reacting with super speed. However, the car could still only break so fast, and it would still hit the girl. Just as Alex was about to act, Rei had already left the car to grab Daisy. She was almost within reach of her when she suddenly felt her self slow down, feeling like a snail by the time she reached the girl. It would appeared almost like a ship in star trek coming out of high warp to Daisy. Rei would have been a streak only a moment before if that, and slowed down tremendously as soon as she came to a standstill in front of Daisy. "The hell?!" Rei said as she looked at her hands for a slip second before she realized the car was still and issue. She grabbed Daisy and began to move out of the way, but it was too little. Thankfully, by this point Alex's reflexes had kicked in and his hands went up in front of him. Instantly the car split clean in half and separated enough to clear both of the girls. The car came back together around them so that Rei was back in the drivers seat and Daisy was in the back seat. The car finished screeching to a halt in a parking space on the side of the road. Somehow Rei was still able to handle the car with expert finesse. "Nice," Alex said as the car settled, "almost as good as my sister." "Almost?" Rei said as she let out a huge breath of air, as if she had been holding it since she had slowed down. "I could go any day." "Not with a clutch," Alex said with a smirk. "Maybe," Rei said as she trailed off and looked int he back seat at Daisy. "Are you alright?" Rei asked with genuine concern as Alex eyed her with interest. It was brisk out, but not quite cold enough for how she was dressed.
