Tokeru grinned evilly. "So, should we put her on a plane to boston? Send her off to some relatives or something. if she's down for the count, the plane would land before she would wake up, might be a good idea to get her out of our, i mean, My hair. She was driving me insane, running around in circles and making aeroplane noises. God, i wanted to stab a screwdriver through my brain and swirl it around alot."
Before she could answer, he kissed her once more.

Edith smiled at Tokeru's dislike and intolerance for little kids. Hell, she was the same sometimes. It depended on what side of the fence you caught her on. She had failed her babysitting course, but she could probably make a better mother than a lot of people out there if she did not have so many friggin' problems. She was laughing when suddenly Tokeru kissed her. She ended up blowing air into his mouth and puffing up his cheeks which forced her to pull back. Next thing she knew she was on the ground, smacking her thigh, laughing until the tears came. "Oh..... MY........ GOD!"

Tokeru feigned mock outrage. "HOW DARE YOU. I was being serious. It is no laughing matter here. I really am serious. We could ship her off to other family. Or, we could send her to daycare, where people are paid for this kinda work. And I would pay, i would pay whatever it took. Whatever it took, just to not have her drive me insane."

Edith did not seem to be listening to Tokeru as she continued to sit on the floor, laughing, slapping her hand on the ground. "Too.... FUNNY!" She was now gasping for breath, wheezing, her face scrunched up in a screwed up smile from laughing.
However, when she finally calmed down and was able to breathe, she looked at Tokeru with a smile. It soon faded though, once she started up on the topic about Kyley. "I don't think," Edith said, not too sure as she had not seen Kyley's mother for years, "Kyley has any relatives left besides her dad. And her dad kind of... well... I have no ******** idea where he is."

Tokeru narrowed his eyes. "Hmm, then perhaps I can do something about that. Hope has always wanted a child, or so she told me. Maybe we can get her to adopt kyley, or give up on that dream, either way, I'll be happy. Whaddaya say?"
Tokeru grinned evilly, knowing full well that Edith would never accept that.

"My a**," Edith said with a smile though she was quite serious about this, "you'll give her to Hope. Besides, if Hope takes her in then you'll see a whole hell of a lot of her anyway you dumbshit. She'd still be here." She laughed, patting Tokeru on the shoulder. "Don't worry," she assured him, "I'll find someone for her."

Tokeru shook his head. "Sheesh, well, lets atleast bring her down to my room. Theres a huge fluffy guest bed she can sleep on, and it'll give me an excuse to tell hope to turn down the damn tv."
Tokeru looked at the counter, seeing savage still standing there. "Oh just give him a bloody steak already."
And the cooks complied, giving savage a bloody steak, very bloody. Savage ate it all within a few seconds, and padded over to Tokeru and Edith.

Edith smiled, complying to Tokeru's request, going to retrieve the collapsed, burnt-out child. "Fine," she said sticking her tongue out at him, "we can bring her to your room and tell Hope to turn the damned television down." She then picked Kyley up, gently, as if she were made of wet sand that fell apart no matter what you seemed to do.
Edith, possibly, would have made a good mother. Had she chosen not to follow and search for William, perhaps right now she would be attending college, picking her job that she would have for the rest of her life. But such a life would probably be so boring for Edith that she would do something stupid and get herself shot. She needed action, she needed excitement. She was a thrill seeker and there was nothing more thrilling than killing off threats to human kind. Was there?

Tokeru stuck out his own tongue in response, then immediatly regretted it when he bit it by accident. "Oh no, I bit ma hongue. Clap, this sucks. Allight, lets go to the elevato."
Tokeru walked to the elevator, cursing himself in his mind for being that stupid.

Edith began laughing at Tokeru again though this time she was not allowed to collapse to the ground since she would probably land on and crush Kyley. "Okah," Edith replied, trying to copy his manner of speech, "let go wight now. Elevatos auh fun." She heard him curse himself as she could hear him better than she could hear anyone else and laughed out of no where because of it.

Tokeru forced himself to speak properly, even though his tongue was hurting like hell. "Stupid nano bots, Why don't you ever work on the tongue."
He got to the private elevator outside of the cafeteria, and waited for Edith to come in, Savage of course, was already in the elevator somehow. He held the door open for her, and pressed the button down to his room.

Edith, carefully cradling Kyley as she made her way, ventured into the elevator with the sleeping child. "Man," Edith said, looking at her with a smile, "I wish I could sleep that soundly. Then again, if there was a fire or something that would just blow. Maybe I don't want to sleep that soundly... Then again... I don't know when I last slept..." It was true, she did not know and even when she thought about it she did not remember.

Tokeru scratched his head. "You know, I can't remember sleeping for anything past 2 hours my entire memory, and thats about 12 years. I sleep 2 hours a day, every day. interesting. And speaking of sleeping, "
he said, opening his mouth in a yawn. "I'm tired, and day is breaking soon. I need my two hours. THen after that i'll go check on the kid again, what about you? You gonna try to sleep?"
As he said that, the elevator stopped, and the doors opened, showing his room, with Hope watching the TV as usual.

Edith had been able to sleep as a human, when she had been a kid she had slept like a log just like Kyley was now. However, the streets changed you and once you became paranoid of everything and everyone you often found it more difficult to fall asleep. "I don't sleep anymore. My body does not require it any longer. In fact, it likes the night but it also likes the day so I cannot sleep during either time. I could try to sleep but I don't think it'll do much for me."
When Tokeru asked her if she was going to try to sleep she had gotten a rather naughty idea about it though she kept it to herself. She did not need to be talking about sleeping with him when his sister was in the same room watching talk shows. However, she could not deny that even though her body was slowly turning more and more inhuman, that it craved to be unclothed, laid down beside Tokeru's unclothed body... Whoa. A little much.

Tokeru grinned. "Well, you could try. It won't hurt anyone. Unless you kick in your sleep, then yes it could."
He walked out of the elevator with Edith in tow, and kyley in her arms.
"Hey hope, I need a favour. Can you keep an eye on her? Her name is kyley and she's sleeping right now. So that means you gotta turn down the TV."
When hope didn't respond, he waved a hand infront of her eyes. "Hope?"
He gently shook his sister, and she fell face first on the ground. Tokeru was starting to suspect the worst, untill he heard her snoring. "Oh for the love of the gods. She fell asleep with her eyes open, watching TV. Arg. Alright well you put kyley to sleep in the guest room, I'll stick Hope in the other guest room, I'll be back here in a few minutes. I kinda forgot where the second guest room was."
