Fillup and Shadow sat off to the side watching the three struggle, Kay was obviously going to get what she wanted, and Zack as well. Fillup didn't like the thought of Kimmi going deady, but something about free-will kept nagging at him. He sighed and stood, looking at Shadow for a little support. The cat just watched him now, curiously cocking his head.
"Kay, Zack, if she wants to be a dead-head, let her..." he said, his voice empty. He looked at them hard as he spoke. Before they could protest, he started again "But...if she does get what she wants, you are to leave, I-I'll take care of the rest...." he looked at Kimmi this time, pleading with his eyes as much as threatening her with his words.

Kimmi's wide eyes stared at him. "I was going to do it myself." She replied. She frowned when she saw his resolve and stopped fighting. "If it doesn't work, I'll do it myself Fillup. I refuse to be part of your conscience." She looked back up at him. "Deal?"

Fillup looked at her, scrutinizing her face. After a few moments he nodded "Deal." He turned and sat with his back to them. Why do these things happen now? Before all of this happened, we were just fine...of course, we had no chance of wiping out the dead-heads either... he thought, ignoring the three of his comrades.
Shadow growled and moved forward, sniffing at Kimmi and swishing his tail in anxiety "What wrong?" he asked, not fully comprehending the situation.

Kimmi grit her teeth against another tinge of pain. "When one of the dead heads bites us, we become one." She told him once it passed. "I got into a fight that was a little more than I could handle and got bitten. Kay and Zack are trying to stop be from becoming a dead head." She answered to distract herself.

While Pinky was distracted, Kay stuck the needle into the wound and injected her. "The deal was you could die after we dealt with the puppet master... Not before." Kay stated firmly, struggling to get up. "When you're better you can hit me if you want. But I'd do it again in a heart beat." Kay turned and went stumbling down the hallway, leaning on the wall as she went.

Kimmi cried out when the needle was jammed into her. She moved to her feet and was on Kay before she made it very far. "What is wrong with you! You don't just jam a needle into someone!" She huffed as she grabbed her arm and put it over her shoulder. "And I will hit you. Just you wait." She pouted. She grit her teeth and kept supporting Kay. Her side felt like fire was running through her vains. "Leave me with the pervert who's over there pulling my shirt up and just start walking away, see how you are. Save me from a virus and leave me for the pervert."

"Hey im not a pervert." said Zack insulted. he placed a and on her shoulder and closed his eyes. he watched her chemical makeup makeing sure the virus was actually being killed. he sighed when he was sure every trace was removed. "Just be glad she did that, im sure my way would of been way more painful." he said as he let her put her shirt down, he then held out his hand to help her up.

Kimmi slapped at his hand on the hem of her tank. "See what I mean, he's trying to strip me." She said with an eye roll.

Fillup smiled to himself, his little distraction had worked "Well Zack, I guess you'll be bunking with Sarge then, he'll keep an eye on you, little hentai" he said, popping his gum. Shadow sat next to him, slightly confused, but fairly certain it didn't matter any longer. They both stood, the other cats following Shadow and wandered after the three.

A strange feeling slammed into Kay, making her knees buckle. She began shivering violently, hunched over on the floor. Hello my little puppet... Who have we been? a familar evil voice echoing in her head. I thought it best that we didn't see each other in person yet... Kay lunged forward, as if she could grab whoever was speaking. She fell to the ground, Kay sat up barely even managing to get to her knees. Seeing as your still sore about what I did to you... But don't worry you and your friends will be seeing me very, very soon... The feeling retreat, after it had fully left Kay collapsed to the ground gasping for air. She tried to stand again, shivering viloently she could only manage to lean against the wall.

Kimmi had continually yelled Kay's name while she seemed out of it. She shook Kay lightly, kneeling in front of her. "I think she's lost too much blood. Give me my first aid kit there's another dose of that stuff I gave her earlier." She was looking at Fillup and hadn't noticed that Kay seemed to be herself again.

Fillup shook his head, motioning to Kay "She;s an odd one, but I doubt that was something caused by a loss of blood..." he said, worridly watching Kay. Shadow and the other cats filed past them, heading away to check on their families.

Kimmi looked back to her and noticed that her eyes were clearer. "Kay? Kay can you hear me now?" She asked as she tapped her gently on the cheek.
