Tess looked over to Mal, unable to give a decent smile that didn't look like a grimace. Sergey mentioned having to get used to his bones breaking, and he flinched. He didn't like that thought, and he curled up a little more. With a soft sigh, he stared vacantly at one spot for a few more minutes, before a nurse came in.

"We need to see and make sure your bones formed right. Could you get up and out of bed and walk around a bit? Maybe go get changed?" she pointed to the clothes left for him that seemed about the right size.

Tess looked at the woman for a moment, before he nodded and slowly unfurled from his curled up position and removed the blanket from being wrapped around him. He glanced to Mal, then to Sergey uncertainly before shifting his legs off the side of the bed, and standing, holding his shorts up as he did. Wobbling slightly, he looked down to his legs, trying to decide best how to work with them. While he figured things out, the woman was making notes, a few fluffs of fur coming from the lupine-turned-human boys' shorts from stuff that caught up between he and the fabric.

Tess grabbed the change of clothes and looked to a bathroom the room had. He slowly walked towards it, still obviously unsure of his legs, and he stumbled when he got to the door, but he managed to catch himself before he fell. He grimaced, looked to the trio in the room with him, before disappearing into the bathroom and closing the door. He came out a few minutes later in a pair of loose pants that were just a little bit too loose, and a baggy black shirt that accented his pale skin as much as his hair.

Logan blinked as Sam told him his name and thought back to the fight he'd witnessed between Sergey and Marie. He frowned a little, and then listened to his walking companion, and his companion's companion. He walked with them until they got to the building, and he offered a light wave. "Pleasure to meet you, Sam. There's a movie thing at Seven Thirty tonight in the A building, if you'd like to join us." Marie had told him to invite whomever else he met on his way to a small nap.

"I'm off to relax for a bit." Logan murmured, before he was heading off to his room. He went inside and set his alarm before removing his mask and gloves and relaxing on his bed. In moments, he was asleep, and didn't recall any dreams save for the minuscule things he'd picked up off of Aki. He woke up with a steam vapor coming out as his breath, his body sweating a little more, even though he always thought his room was cool enough for him. As he slowly woke up more, turning off his alarm clock, things were settling again, his breath was no longer visible, and the room was becoming comfortable again.

Confused a little, but sorting it out in his head as he got on a clean mask and set of gloves on. He combed his hair, fixed his shirt, and got his shoes back on before he headed out and back to the Ignus/Glacies building. He arrived a few minutes late, but Arkell seemed to have just arrived, as he'd seen her dash inside. She was panting with her efforts of running, and he smoothly entered the room and murmured, "A few minutes, but so am I." he smiled lightly behind his mask, though his eyes were still slightly out of focus. He was thinking again, but he was going to have to relax...

Giving a light yawn, Logan chuckled to himself. "I guess I should've headed for a nap, sooner."

Marie flipped over on the couch and sat on her knees, laying her head in her arms as she leaned against the back part of it. "Esta bien,"[Trans: It's good/fine./"Its all good."] she spoke, smiling softly. Her laying in wait had made her sleepy too. It showed in her soft but shiny eyes.

Marie remembered Arkell's comment from earlier about Austin Powers and went ahead and stuck that DVD in went Logan had left. It was a welcome favorite that most people liked so it seemed right to appeal to whomever shows up's interests.

Rolling over to the rightful sitting position, Marie hit the play button on the remote. People would probably arrive during the previews or not at all. "Pop a squat," Marie waved to the couch she was one and pointed out other love seats and couches in the entertainment area. Silently, she hoped Logan would sit with her, but she knew better than that. Marie wanted to Logan to have fun not be stressed out about accidently touching people.

Sergey watched with a saddened look on his face as Tess got up and made his way to the bathroom to change. His eyes trailed from the door and landed on the female nurse, his eyes narrowing slightly. He held no love of doctors...tried to avoid them like the plague actually, and here he was sitting in a medical facility watching his new friend take his first few awkward steps on normal legs. How long had it taken him to get use to his new legs? A while....and he had had to do so while they were still shifting and changing. He cringed slightly and shut his eyes tight as Tess walked out of the bathroom fully clothed. He pinched his brow tight before looking up to see what Tess looked like now. Tall, slender, pale, and his hair was still long and shaggy like his coat had been. He looked...good. He did a quick scan of him , his eyes lingering on his legs as he let out a soft sigh. "I envy you..."

Arkell couldn't help but bust out laughing when Marie told her to 'pop a squat', as the term was just so.....hilarious to her. As her giggles subsided she walked forward and hopped over the arm of the couch and landed on the cushions lightly due to her lack of weight. "Wooooo!! Austin Powers!!"
PostPosted: Wed Aug 13, 2008 9:04 pm

Tess smiled as Marie told them something in Spanish, and then told them to sit as Austin Powers was put on. He watched Arkell bound over and plop down on her portion of the couch, and he eyed the last seat warily, before glancing away with a light frown. He wanted to sit next to Marie, but if he fell asleep... She'd be the first to be able to freak out, and he'd risk picking up on her private memories. Besides, he still didn't know what to figure about his sudden 'cold' ability he seemed to have picked up from Aki. He rubbed at a temple momentarily, before wandering to his own seat and resting down, carefully not touching any portion of the couch.

Logan had practice with this. After waking from his coma, he practiced himself in these sorts of things. Sitting up straight was no challenge unless you were tired and your head couldn't touch the couch at all. However, he sat as comfortably as he could while doing just that, his attention moving to the movie screen. "I invited Sam, along the way, but he seemed to have a training thing to do. I don't know if he would make it. He was curious about you." he informed Marie before the movie could quite start.

Marie laughed with Arkell and put and blacket over her head playfully. "You're quite enegetic today!"

She watched Logan from the corner of her eye choose his seat and was not alarmed but his choice. Marie smiled warmly to him, hopefully to be reassuring. On the account of Sam, Marie's face went a little white. "Curious about me? Perhaps he had a question about class..." she pondered aloud. "I hope he does come then."

Marie snuggled witha large pillow on the couch and wonderd if Sam had memories of events earlier. 'Great. Two days being here and three people hate me. Fabulouso." [Trans: Fabulous.]

Sam returned Logan's wave, saying, "I'll try to be there, if I have time!"

As his new friend disappeared into the training center, Mako nudged the young Empath with her elbow. "Don't just stand there, Sam," she said, "Let's not keep Mrs. Ishida waiting any longer." The two mutants entered the building before them, greeted almost immediately by the head nurse.

"Oh, good," she began in her usual motherly voice. "You've finally arrived." Mrs. Ishida looked to Sam and asked, "Might I inquire as to why you skipped training this afternoon?"

"I'm not sure," replied the violet-locked student. "Something exhausted me around lunchtime. My memory's a little fuzzy, though."

Mrs. Ishida nodded and opened the door to the Healer Training Room. "Either way, let's begin your training, shall we?"

"Yes, ma'am." Sam smiled slightly, walking into the large chamber. He untied the bow in his hair, removed the belts crossed around his chest, and unbuckled his belt shirt, placing the aforementioned articles on a table next to the door. The head nurse approached the small laptop computer connected by a thin wire to a practice dummy in the center of the room and placed her index finger on a small pad located in the bottom-left corner of the keyboard area. There was a beep confirming her identity, followed by the screen lighting up, forming an array of text boxes containing various numbers and symbols.

"Okay," said Mrs. Ishida as Mako entered the training room, closing the door behind her. "We're going to start with a small wound in the chest." She pressed a few keys, signalling the dummy's simulation. After the injury took shape, she added, "Go ahead."

While the nurse moved to a table holding the small vials of healing medication used in this training, Sam moved to face the practice dummy. He placed his hand just below the wound and closed his eyes. There was a small flash of light as the dummy's wound stitched itself together and a similar injury appeared on Sam's chest. The only difference was the blood emanating from the new laceration. Having gone through this training as much as he did, Sam wasn't fazed. Mrs. Ishida walked briskly toward the purple-haired teen, a syringe full of medicine in her hand. She was surprised to see what was happening to Sam's wound. It had started to heal on its own. Muscle and flesh were sewing back together, closing at a rapid pace. Within thirty seconds, there was nothing left of the injury.

"Very interesting," Mrs. Ishida said, her hand on her chin thoughtfully. "It looks like your mutation has evolved. It appears you won't be needing this medicine now." She returned to the vial-bearing table to pour the fluid from the syringe back into its original vessel.

It was then that Sam's hand flew to his head. He grimaced in pain as his mind became a tempest of forgotten memories. Images flashed by of Sergey and Marie. Being raised off of his feet by the avian mutant. Being cast aside by the same person like a rag doll. That wonderfully melodic voice flowing from the young woman seated on the piano bench...

Mako's voice cut through the haze of thoughts, her concern for Sam's well-being crystal clear. "Are you okay, Sam?"

The self-healing Empath slowly shook his head to clear his mind. "Yeah," he said, taking in a deep breath. His accent began to re-emerge as he continued, "I...ngh...I'm fine. Just some locked memories breaking their barrier."

"Sam... Are you sure you're alright?"

"Aye. Everything's okay. Don't worry." Sam shook his head again, clearing the last of the mental fog.

Presently, Mrs. Ishida returned to the student. "Hm, what do you say we call tonight's training exercise finished? You don't appear to be in a suitable state. With your power, I need you with a completely clear head."

"I'm alright, Mrs. Ishida."

"You say you are," Mako interjected, "but I can tell you aren't."

"Sam." Mrs. Ishida spoke again. "We'll test the extent of your healing ability tomorrow. I trust you'll be there this time?"

"Yes, ma'am." Sam sighed and approached the table next to the training room's door. He fastened his shirt, crossed his belts over his chest, and tied the bow back into his hair. "I'll see you tomorrow." Sam opened the door and strode quickly toward Dormitory Building A. Once he arrived, the boy looked at the clock just inside. It was about eight o'clock. The violet-locked teen found his way to the common room occupied by Logan, Marie, and a girl he had never met. "Good evening, friends," he said quietly, addressing the trio of students with a smile that didn't reflect the disturbance in his mind. "I hope you don't mind if I join you."

"Ah, okay," Will said absentmindedly and bid the blue skinned girl farewell. She did not seem to enjoy conversation. It was only him alone now at the particular table. People were leaving the cafeteria a few after a few. He was done with his dinner too, and certainly did not want to chew on the rest of the oily chips.

It occurred to him that he still hadn't seen his roommate, someone named Tess. It was the other name in the room. Will had moved in after the year had started and had moved in while his roommate was probably in class either boring himself or enjoying himself to death...and upon morning the next, could not make head or tail of the bundle underneath the blankets of the bed next to him.

With a sigh and a glance around, Will decided to retreat to his room, following Kazuko's example of putting the appropriate items into their appropriate locations. Maybe he would also do some more unpacking or maybe he could play one of his instruments in boredom.

As Will entered Building A, thinking it was Building B, and started looking for his room number again, he heard a loud "Woooo! Austin Powers!" Naturally attuned to walking toward noise and perking his curiosity, the musician found himself at a dark lounge with the TV on. There seemed to be a few students in the room. "Hey, someone order a TV night?" Will hazarded loud enough for at least one person to hear.

((Hmm... nice. Only needed to edit a letter and add a few words))

Speak of the devil, Sam arrived and Marie peeked up over to couch to welcome him. "Oh, hey Sam! Glad you could make it," smiled greeted with a smile.

Right after, another guy entered that Marie recognized from one of her classes. "Hello! Umm... Will, correcto [trans: Correct?]" Marie asked politely. "We're having a little Austin Powers movie party. Grab some snack and a seat."

Marie looked to Logan and Arkell a moment. "Oh! Este...er ... this," she reminded herself to use English, "This is Arkell, and Will, this is Logan. They're my teammates." Marie motioned it each person as she spoke.

As Will's eyes adjusted to the darkness in the room, he realized that the boy standing somewhere in front of him was Sam. "Hey, Sam! Long time no see, buddy!"

"Yup." Will nodded to Marie's inquiry to his name. "Right on." A female voice was introducing the others, and it took a moment for Will to realize that the wavy seemingly dark colored hair belonged to Marie, the girl that he thought seemed familiar earlier during training at the beach. He nodded and made a motion to shake the others hands without knowing Logan's ability. "I'm with Sam's team," the musician grinned. "Nice to meet you all."

Logan looked up when Sam addressed them, and he nodded to the other boy, examining him a moment. And then another male stumbled in and commented on the movie night choice. Marie introduced he and Arkell to the newcomers, and when Will offered his hand, Logan took it into his own, gloved, hand and shook it lightly. "I apologize if I seemed rude at dinner." he murmured, recognizing the other as the last to sit down at his table before he thought it was too much. "I was a bit tired and needed a break."

Logan pulled his hand away and waved it to the various couches and such. "Please, take a seat and join us." he offered, his attention soon returning to the movie.

Arkell caught the blanket and unfurled it around herself. She turned a bit to see who else had shown up and waved to Sam and Will, her hair crackling up to a light pinkish color. She gave Will a bit of a coy smile and a wink. "Yeah, have a seat you guys! It's just starting."
PostPosted: Fri Aug 15, 2008 2:18 pm

"Arkell, eh?" Sam mused, giving the girl a smile. "I suppose I'll have to remember that name. It's a very nice one, I must say." He quickly made his way across the viewers' line of sight, taking a seat in a chair not far from where Marie was sitting. He leaned close to her ear for a moment, whispering, "When the movie's over, Marie, I'll need to talk to you about something." He returned to a proper stance, giving her a friendly smile, and focused on the television screen.

"Oh, okay," Marie said softly, relaxed by his smile, but still a bit afriad about what it may be. It didn't dampen her laughed at the opening of the movie. Cuddling with a pillow, she laughed and shared small talk with the others every once and awhile durin gthe length of the movie.

Some time during the movie, Logan got up and rested a hand on Marie's shoulder, before he left the room. It was a fun movie, but he was tired and needed more of a break and a chance to mentally prepare himself for the next day of school. On his way out, he glanced off to the Medical Facility for a moment before he headed over. There was a woman at the front desk whom he spoke to for a little while, explaining a few things that he felt were out of place, and she took notes down so they could keep an eye on him if things progressed further.

Feeling a little more relieved, he finally trudged back to his room, changed into memory-free pajamas after a quick shower in his bathroom, and then he was asleep in bed with his alarm set for the morning.

Tess frowned at Sergey, leaning against the doorframe a little, before he hefted a bit of a sigh and wandered further into the room, slowly. He'd almost fallen over several times just trying to get the pants on. He wandered over to the nurse, and she looked to him curiously.
"When am I allowed out of here?" the boy asked, almost irritably. He was tired, he was uncomfortable, and he just wanted to go to bed and think it was all a bad dream.

The nurse seemed a little taken-aback, but she looked at a paper for a moment before looking back to him. "Ah... As soon as you'd like. We have extra clothes for you, in case you stay in this form..." her voice trailed off as Tess tromped over to Sergey, punched him for envying something he had no control of, nor did he really want, and then he tromped out of the room, focusing on where he stepped so he didn't fall over.

His hand throbbed uncomfortably, something he'd never had to experience in his stronger, lupine, form. Colored lips frowned against pale skin as wolfish green orbs scowled. He gave up on feeling a meek discomfort, and decided he was fully uncomfortable and would act upon that until he was back to normal. Sergey's comment had decided that, and also decided his action to punch the bird-boy. Here he was, uncomfortable and cold and -different- and normal in the same instance, and the other had to comment like it was a -good- thing he changed... like it was planned.

(( Can everyone start wrapping up evenings so we can start the next day soon? ))

Sergey never even saw it coming. He was left sitting in the chair with his face cocked to the side where it had stopped after Tess had punched him in the face with a shocked expression on his face. After the initial though, it quickly turned to a gaze of pure fury that made the nurse squeak and take off. He slowly pushed himself out of the chair, his jaw throbbing, and stalked out after Tess without so much as a second glance towards Mal in his fury. Tess had already made it out of the facility and seemed to be headed toward his dorm. Sergey caught up to the boy when he was right outside and spun him around. He picked him up by the front of his shirt and lifting him off the ground to shove him gruffly up against the wall. "VHAT IN THE HELL VAS DAT FOR!?"

((Goose, if you mind how i moved him, I'll change it ^_^))
