Pleased to meet you, Sir, but now, we shall begin our fight. Good luck to you.
Waiting games... Ryugi hated waiting games. Not that he was impatient, but waiting in a fight generally meant charging of energies, or stalling for time, two things that could spell trouble for a fighter. With that in mind, Ryugi charged forwards towards his opponent, snow flying up from his boots as he closed the thirty foot gap between them, aiming a punch directly for Ferrex's torso.

What speed...
Ferrex followed his first instinct, and jumped backward swiftly, leaving his weapon spinning rapidly in midair, perpendicular to Ryugi's oncoming punch, and continuing to well up his energy, watching his opponent.

Well, that was unexpected. A reatreat from a first move... This wasn't something Ryugi liked. He got lucky, however, that as he punched towards the spinning weapon, his hidden forearm guard soaked up the momentum and much of the force from the spinning shaft. The weapons would bounce off of Ryugi's forearm, causing no harm.
Ryugi would then stop as the weapons should fall to the ground, and then he would dash foreward again, another punch aimed at his opponent's chest, his weapons most likely away from his body.

Impressive!
Ferrex changed his plan, now dashing to the side, making a circular movement around Ryugi, and heading for his weapon. The closer he got, the more his weapon shook, trying to free itself from the ground as its owner's electrical force grew nearer. When Ferrex grew close enough, he jumped high into the air, his boots and gloves crackling with electricity, and his weapon came flying up to him, and he grasped it firmly in his hands.
Zap Blast!
A small green ball appeared in front of the tip of his weapon, and he shot it downward as his opponent, slightly adjusting its course with careful electrical pulses.

The hell...?
His opponent jumped to the side, and made a mad dash for his fallen weapon. This wasn't good. Ryugi then recovered from his missed punch, while still moving foreward, only in time to hear his opponent cry out. Ryugi's sharp ears picked up the snap, crackle, pop of an electric based attack headed straight for him.
His ears and energy senses then quickly projected a rough course for the projectile from the sounds and the rough feeling of distance and speed gained from the lighting fast analysis of Ryugi's mind. He then jumped into a backflip as he moved foreward, the electric energy zipping under his back as he hit the maximum height of the flip. Then, while in midair, Ryugi twisted his body, not unlike a cat falling through the air, to have himself facing the ground below.
He then pulled his legs up into his body, causing him to roll into a slightly more upward position, then extended his legs as his flip ended, his boots crunching into the snow, and his form skidding about five feet across the icy ground, his boots digging into the ground to slow him down. One thing was for sure, this was going to be a good fight...

Ferrex frowned slightly as he began to return to solid ground, but shook it off quickly as he gave his weapon a quick spin just before hitting the ground, and began dashing toward his opponent with his weapon spinning in front of him again, holding it firmly close to him with a static charge.
Well, he's got skill, I'll give him that.

As soon as Ryugi landed, he was already in a crouched position. He then pushed off from the ground and sped towards his opponent, left arm heald out in front of him, as if leading him foreward. His right arm cocked back, ready for a punch...

Ferrex readied for the oncoming movement, grabbing hold of his weapon and swinging it around his body, then making a baseball-bat like swing at his opponent's fist as the air made another familiar crackle.
Blue-Bolt Buster!!
His weapon appeared to make no change, but the odd feeling still existed around the two fighters.

As Ryugi neared, his opponent swung at his left arm. But Ryugi had other plans. As the pole of the weapon came for his arm, he bent it up at the elbow, his forearm guard slamming into the weapon once more in order to block. It was then that Ryugi shot his cocked right fist straight towards the man's mostly unprotected chest.
The man's weapon knocked out of the way, Ryugi's fist would slam into the man's ribcage with enough force to send him skidding nearly ten feet, and more than enough to knock the wind out of him...

Exactly...
Right as Ryugi's glove made contact with the cloth of Ferrex's shirt, Ryugi felt a small crackle, and Ferrex's body quickly zipped behind Ryugi, around his left side, in a split-second in which Ferrex appeared to be colored completely blue. Then, having used up his charged energy, he sent a quick kick toward Ryugi's back, hoping that his opponent wasn't moving too fast to have his attack make contact.

Punch!! Flash? Clunk?!
What in the name of the Adamants...?
Ryugi was then knocked foreward by his opponent's kick. The move didn't damage Ryugi, seeing as Ragnarok was still firmly locked to his back, but it DID send him stumbling foreward a bit. Lucky for him, he caught himself with a hand plant, flipped his body over, and landed back upright facing his opponent, his arms then moved into a defensive stance to protect against any incoming attacks.
He wasn't sure if his opponent would be able to recover from the kick quickly enough to attack, but better to be safe than sorry...

As a matter of fact, Ferrex had not yet fully mastered the technique that he called the "Blue-Bolt Buster," and therefore was left spending some time recovering, doing not much more than charging energy for more techniques, watching his opponent for signs of movement.
Hmm... You're looking tough around the edges there... Should I be worried?

Tough? Me? I don't think so.
Ryugi grinned and reached behind his back, his right hand grasping the handle of Ragnarok. He clenched his hand around the blade and gave it a soft tug. With a "CHK" the blade fell lose from Ryugi's "all size sheith". With little effort, Ryugi then hefted the weapon onto his right shoulder and stared at his opponent.
So, how about you come at ME this time for a change of pace, eh?

Well, if you insist... I'm a bit drained at the moment, though, so don't expect much, now.
Ferrex grinned and ran toward his opponent again, his energy charging much faster now that he lacked contact with his weapon. He continued to run, building up speed, his legs blurring more and more, though keeping a handle on things in order to refrain from making an error by gaining too much momentum for his control.

Ryugi then moved back and swung Ragnarok in a right to left, diagonal slash towards Ferrex. He was unsure whether or not the man had armor on undernieth his attire, but he certainly didn't want to chop him in half. So, at the last moment before the strike, Ryugi would turn the sword so that the flat end of the blade would make contact with his opponent, and not the razor sharp edge.
If the move hit, it would feel much like someone had smacked you very hard with a very heavy oar. It wouldn't crush bone at the speed it was going, but it most likely WOULD be more than strong enough to send you careening into the ground with a rather large pain in your shoulder, neck, torso, or other area that you managed to be hit.
