Tomas walked up to the two, "Aria's gone back to look for Nicholas, I think we should wait for her for now."

Aria found something to help, and injected it quickly into Nicholas's bloodstream, "wakey wakey"

Danny nodded. "Yeah, that sounds good to me." He said a bit worried for Nicholas. The man was like a father to him.
Nicholas blinked slowly and looked up a dark figure in front of him. "W-where am I?"

Katherine sat down fairly hard on the ground and furiously tugged off her sweater, creating a small storm of feathers fall to the ground. her arms were now definitely growing large feathers, it spread from her shoulder to her hand and dried blood showed just how fast they were pushing out.
Tomas whistled, "You better take it easy." He ran a hand through his hair. "If they don't show up in half an hour we should go." He focused back to Danny, "You did vary well, thank you."

Danny looked at Tomas. "Yeah, no problem." He said and looked at Katherine. "Are you sure you're ok?"

Katherine was looking at her arms in wonder but snapped out of it and looked up at Danny, "Yeah... I'm ok..." She didn't want to move her arms to much, it hurt but they had bigger problems.
Tomas sat down as well and caught his breath quickly.

Katherine smiled and sighed. She looked up at Danny again, "Who were they anyway?" she'd only caught a glance of them over her shoulder.

Tomas leaned forward, looking serious, "I didn't stick around for all of the conversation but they were here for two of you. Nicholas's son and one other." He looked at Danny, "I don't know what they meant by that but I don't see a reason for keeping it from you two." He ran a hand through his hair and sighed, "I don't know what they wanted you for either but they said that they were Nicholas's past come to say hello or something."
Katherine listened silently, a frown on her face.

Danny nodded slowly taking it all in. "Only we thing we know about Nicholas is that he used to work for the government, they created the virus that changed us... Maybe now they're coming back to do more experimenting with us." He sighed. "As for a son... I don't know anything about that."

Tomas leaned back, "Well, I don't care if he has a son or worked for the government or what. They aren't getting their hands on you while I'm alive." His eyes had slowly closed while he spoke but one cracked open to look at Danny with a little bit of a smile, "I mean you collectively again."
Katherine looked angry, "They can't just be alright with ruining a whole town's lively hood and killing hundreds of people. They just have to keep pushing, why??" Her hands held her head and the movement made some of the scabs reopen but the bleeding wasn't that bad, "I don't understand."

Katherine took a few deep breaths stemming the tears in her eyes before they could fall. She sniffed and quickly wiped her eyes, looking up at Danny and forcing a smile, "I'm sorry, I'm ok."
