Arcanine barked at Sapphire. "Touya says we need to train, but I believe he means that you need to learn how to control your passion for battle. Your passion is blinding you at the moment, making it impossible for you to improve or reach your potential." The Fire type looked over to the blue Pokemon as Sapphire gave an affirming nod. Either way they were going to fight! And to fight fire with fire! How enjoyable, how lovely. Sapphire grinned, "Fine with me."
"Ah, but there is a catch. I attack and you must dodge and not retaliate," Arcanine smirked. Without a moment for the Houndoom to reply or complain Arcanine dashed towards him. Light easily formed a trail behind him, eventually graduating into barely visible clone of the Fire type. And Extremespeed no doubt. Sapphire growled as the attack connected. Damn it stung! And as a revenge tactic he sunk his fangs into Arcanine's left side in a vicious Bite attack. "I said no attacking!" Arcanine barked ramming the smalled Houndoom into a nearby tree. The wood cracked under the weight and force of the two dogs.
Sapphire whinned, releasing his bite on the red and white fur. The Pokemon's version of a curse soon esacped his lips, snarling around his fangs. He wanted nothing more than to tackle the Arcanine into a tree as he had done, but Mitsu didn't send him over here to be stubborn. He owed his loyality to Mitsu. After two deep breaths he was a bit more level headed.
Arcanine opened his large jaws readying a Flamethrower attack. The flam pillar soon shot forth at an incredible speed. As it got closer and closer Sapphire jumped to the side trying his best to dodge the attack. A valiant effort, but not good enough as the flames clipped his right leg. It didn't hurt as badly as it normally would since he himself was a Fire type, but it still had a nasty sting. Touya had some power Pokemon and he too aspired to be that strong one day.

Touya smiled as Haku blew small bubbles in his face. Haku reminded him of when Kingdra had been a Horsea herself. "Kingdra, we'll first be teaching Haku how to swim effecively. That means forwards, backwards, up and down," Touya said. He always spoke with a calmer voice with Kingdra than his other Pokemon. She was a mother after all. Kingdra trilled with comfirmation before diving into the sea before resurfacing. Not much talk went on between the two as Kingdra instructed Haku on how to swim.
The ability to swim came naturally to Haku as he was a native born to the water anyways. Within minutes of instruction he could swim in all directions effectively stopping and the like. "Good Haku, now let's practice aiming. Kingdra I want you to shoot some bubbles into the air. One at a time," Touya said. He was sitting at the small island's shore Indian style. "Haku, I want you to use your Dragonbreath to pop them, ok?"
Haku trilled with confirmation, shooting out a Dragonbreath at Kingdra's first bubble. And a first complete miss. Touya let out a slight groan. "Once more," he instructed. Kingdra blew out another bubble, this time it was slightly larger than the first. "Concentrate," Touya commanded. Haku closed his eyes, trying no to trill with excitement. Mitsu had taught him how to aim, he should try for this new person. He was Mitsu's friend after all! Or brother, or whatever he was! Haku didn't care much for technicalities. He opened his eyes and shot, this time grazing the side of the bubble.

Crenu returned Mitsu's nod and grinned as she said nothing more. It seemed that she understood him well, which made things all the easier. Crenu stopped whistling as he watched Mitsu hold out a pokeball, no doubt that it would be that Gengar again, or maybe the Psychic pokemon. Much to his suprise however the pokemon was completely different that what he had expected. A Rapidash with a silver main erupted from the pokeball instead and shared caring nudges with its trainer. Crenu couldn't help but get closer, this was a rare sight and one he did not want to miss. "Nice Rapidash, a rare color." He said with a grin as he approched Mitsu and her pokemon. "Have fun at the dinner? I imagine it must have been a tad awkward."

"Thanks," Mitsu said not caring too much to explain that she was taking care of it for a close friend. Apollo whinned once more eyeing the new person. He did not seem to be a friend that Apollo knew, but Mitsu seemed to trust him all right for the time being. Mitsu continued the stroke the Pokemon's neck and mane, the warmth felt incredibly wonderful to touch. She couldn't help wonder if Crenu's grin was a real one or another facade. It was hard to tell. "The dinner was all right. Good food, but the whole family thing was just a tad awkward. Wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be." Mitsu laughed lightly after her answer. The dinner, in retrospect, really hadn't been as awful as she'd imagined it'd be, awkward granted, but no where near as bad. The moon was shinning fairly brightly tonight, illuminating the ocean's waves. It looked beautiful just like Mossdeep did when the eb and flow was calm. She smiled, more to herself than either Apollo or Crenu as she enjoyed the lovely moonlit beach.

Kasiya managed to contain her temper and not stomp her foot, instead looking to Levi. "Okay, point-blank Mud Shot Levi! Do it!" she shouted again. In response, Levi growled and dug in her heels, once again her cheeks ballooning out before she opened her mouth and fired out another burst of mud balls directly at the Arcanine. Each shot hit, the muck clinging to its bushy fur, but still the large canine stood fast, unflinching, and still grinning down at Levi.
"All right kiddo, time to put the half-pint away," Haruka said then, folding her arms and nodding at the Marshtomp. "My Arcanine won't get much from beating up your little mud fish, it's not even a real fight! I'll tell you what though. You can even use a different Pokemon if your Raichu can't handle Arcanine." By now the Arcanine had retreated and was sitting next to his trainer, still wearing that smug look on its face.
"Don't make fun of my Pokemon!" Kasiya growled, but quickly stopped herself from saying anything else. She sighed, shaking her head. As much as she hated to admit it, Haruka was right. This was a mismatch. There really was no sense in letting Levi get hurt just because Kasiya felt she had to prove a point to the older trainer. "Levi.... return," she murmured, her voice wavering a little. Sadly, Levi's fins drooped a bit before she turned and headed back towards Kasiya, looking up at her trainer with wide eyes. "I just don't want you to get hurt," she told the Marshtomp, who nodded in reply before having a seat at Kasiya's feet. Without even being told Shocker dashed out onto the battlefield, sparks flaring from her cheeks as she glared up at the Arcanine. How dare he and his trainer mock her teammate? They'd pay dearly for that. Kasiya, folding her arms across her chest, evidently feeling the same way as her Raichu. "No more games, Shocker. Attract."
=-=-=-=-= "Sir, if I may," Mai said quickly, giving a quick salute and stepping forward. "What do you mean by 'their good sides?' I don't think its going to be that easy, even incognito. They're bound to be suspicious of just about everyone." Her tone was respectful, yet urgent, as though she wanted to make sure she had every order committed to memory in as little time possible in order for them to prepare. She paid little attention to Jaxon or the other admin in the room, her eyes resting only on her boss. Out of the corner of her peripheral vision she could see Giovanni's Persian seated beside him and it caused her to remember her sister's Persian, and how it had been out of its Pokeball the last time the switch happened. The corners of her mouth twitched as a frown almost appeared on her face but any traces of it vanished faster than they appeared. If the switch happened again, it could compromise the mission. And if the mission was compromised because of her, there was no telling what would happen to her if she was discovered to be at fault, even if partially. She needed to do something, have some sort of backup plan for if the switch happened. But for that to work she'd need someone she could trust. Someone who knew her better than anyone else in the Rocket syndicate.

Themis lowered his head and turned away from the Flamethrower, knowing that this was not the full extent of Felsic's power. While he was grateful for it, he still respected the Typhlosion's ability. Had Felsic been at full strength he would have been suffering a lot more from that fiery attack. Keegan, meanwhile, was still reeling from the strange electric bite attack Themis had delivered to Felsic. He snapped out of it though, as he saw the flames engulfing the Manectric, and he narrowed his eyes. "Themis, Thunderbolt!" he commanded sharply.
Themis stood tall, baring his fangs at the fire type as he built up a bolt of electricity and sent it surging towards Felsic. Keegan had to admit that he was quite impressed with how well Felsic had been trained, and he couldn't wait to battle Mike again when the two of them stood on a level playing field. For the first time in a long time, he felt like things were actually good.

((Yay! You're not dead! ;D )) Shocker stood up on her hind legs and winked at the Arcanine, her tail curling around her as she then proceeded to blow a kiss to the large Fire-type. For a moment, the Arcanine simply blinked at the Raichu, unsure as to what was going on. Haruka grinned and looked to her Pokemon. "No more games, eh? Well if that's how you want to play it! Arcanine, use Flame Wheel, go!" With a roar, the large canine charged forward, its body becoming wrapped in flames as it raced towards Shocker. The Raichu held her ground though, gritting her teeth, closing her eyes and bracing for impact.
Impact never came, however, and when Shocker opened her eyes again, she looked up to see the massive Pokemon staring down at her, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and wearing a huge lopsided grin, tongue lolling out of his mouth. happily. Shocker's ears twitched and she grinned back at him, hardly able to contain her excitement. "You know what to do," Kasiya told her, having knelt down beside Levi and had a hand resting on the Marshtomp's head.
"Gah! No Arcanine, snap out of it!" Haruka cried, her words going unnoticed by her Pokemon as Shocker's grin grew wider and she jumped up, a powerful blast of electricity emanating from her body and striking the canine for quite an impressive Thunderbolt. Yelping in pain the Arcanine retreated quite quickly, eyes wide as he stared at the Raichu. Why was she attacking him? His surprised look quickly changed into a snarl and he reared back and fired a Flamethrower right in Shocker's path. Being in the middle of recovering from her attack she had nowhere to go and no way to dodge so she took the hit square on, curling herself into a tawny ball and trying not to cry out from the intense heat.

The Milotic gave a cry as the poison powder hit it right in the face, the powerful newly evolved pokemon slithered back slightly. The poison seemed to settle in and when it did the Milotic started to glow slightly its scales seemed to shine for a moment. "Haha you may have poisoned us but you just raised our defense." The Swimmer laughed at them.
Brook had fallen to the ground scrambling back up to his small stubby little legs. The attack hadn't done to much damage but it had still hurt! Shaking the sand from atop his head Brook stared at the big and beautiful pokemon across from him he was a bit confused. Why did it use Tackle? That didn't seem like it would be the kind of attack this pretty pokemon would use. Robin seemed to think that as well and frowned slightly. Pulling out her pokedex she scanned the Milotic into it and flipping through a few screens she finally pulled up its attack list. She blinked a few times as she read it before she started laughing. "You may have evolved your pokemon into something really powerful but it doesn't have any of its strong attacks!" Brook upon hearing this felt a lot more confident. It was like fighting the cheese fish but stronger... and longer. "Brook since you poisoned it and its defense is up lets just dodge its attacks and let the poison do its work." She ordered with a confident grin. Brook liked that thought, dodging and not attacking.
"Oh no we aren't gunna let you do that! Milotic do your best to Tackle the little puff ball into the ground!" The pretty pokemon just nodded and dashed forward through the sand trying to hit Brook with its attacks.
Brook didn't seem to like that and instead of getting hit he jumped up using his light body to drift along on the wind out of range of the Milotic. Robin just stared up at him floating around in the air, she had been wondering why he was part flying type and now she understood.

The tornado crackled before exploding halfway between the Pokemon. Nightmare roared before launching a Surf attack. The waves rushed around the Gyrados before forming into a large wave that crashed into orange dragon driving him under the rough sea waves. Dragonite, however, was not out of his element in the ocean as he tried to Slam Nightmare underwater. His strong tail swishing back and forth allowing him to easily manuver under water. Nightmare wasn't phased one bit and he completely submerged himself and easily dodging the attack. Swimming around to Dragonite's left side Nightmare readied his jaws before clamping his fangs down onto the Pokemon's arm. Dragonite roared in pain as the fangs penetrated into his tough skin. Improvising, the Dragon Pokemon slammed his tail into Nightmare's body causing the Gyrados to let go of his grip.
Clearly Nightmare had the advantage under the waves so using his rather small, yet powerful wings Dragonite shot upwards from the dark waters below. Quickly, he gathered some dark looking energy in his mouth before firing forwards. The attack crashed into the waves with enough force to nick Nightmare. It didn't sting much, but still held an element that felt similar to fire as it clipped his body. Fine then, we'll fight fire with fire Nightmare decided before fire off a Dragon Rage attack back at Dragonite.

Jaxon had been a bit perplexed as to why only three admins (or to be politically correct, two admins and one second-in-command chick) had showed, but understood the reasoning once the Boss explained the mission. In this case, less would be more, it appeared. This morning, he had thought the note he had gotten had been sent to everyone, but apparently not; the fact that he'd been acknowledged for this, besides Mai the powerhouse, was flattering. Very truthfully, Jax's expertise was extracting information, and over the years he had become quite the actor, flexible enough to find a personality for any situation. With a bit of conscious effort, he could become the sweetest, most affable guy you could imagine, adding elements of character based on what his 'target' would assumable be attracted to (women in particular were, for the most part, more or less easy for him to read). In either case, although he wouldn't show it in front of his so-called 'audience,' he absolutely hated putting on a fake face. When he was his usual self, everything passed over him as if he were a rock, but when he had to surround himself by people, even if it was just a play, he had to dig up some humanity.
And since he was easily haunted by the memory of his past, when he was around Mai, who was the goddamn spitting image of Aiko, he had to become more statuesque. In his little noggin, he couldn't tell if he wanted to be closer to her or countries away. Hopefully on this mission, if one of them had to pair up, he'd either work with that other bitchy admin woman whose name he couldn't remember or by himself. Pretending to be girlfriend/boyfriend with the girl (whose name he still couldn't remember) would be most disarming, but he didn't like her much. In fact, bodies put aside, he didn't like women. Well, to be more exact, he didn't want to put himself in that kind of position again...
But who Jaxon is and how he is isn't really important, not even to himself, so we'll zoom back to what's kickin' in the physical world.
He didn't have Mai's problem of being recognized incognito, since he never really encountered those brats the last few times; he'd been out on other duties. But he'd heard the stories, naturally. Knew that although young and pompous, with their amazing strokes of luck, they were a threat even to this vast organization. Somehow.

Giovanni merely listened to Mai's question with intent then pursed his lips. "Mai, those children make friends with anyone who comes their way. Even Kilik, who we know to be one of the most skeptical, befriended a girl while he was in Johto within ten minutes of knowing her." How did he know that? Well, unbeknown to Kilik, the communicator that he carried around (the Rocket Admin pin) also functioned as a very small video camera with sound. The wonders of Rocket technology was nearly boundless. Thanks to that little pin, regardless of being slammed into his bag most of the time, Giovanni was able to know every aspect of Kilik's conversations with everyone. Sure, there were points that were mum: whenever he was far away from his bag, for example. Yet he saw the entire fight with the Aquas, heard every bit of his training regiment with Lairon, and heard in on the battles he had with Mike and Rebecca.
"I honestly do not see any possibility of them thinking you're a member of Team Rocket." Giovanni stood and placed his hands behind his back, "The three of you will assume new identities. Mai, from hereon you will be known as Cammy. Jaxon, your new name will be Leo. And you," he pointed at the other girl, "Will follow them under the name of Tina. The three of you are traveling companions who heard about the party and announcement from the Fortree City Gym Leader, who you defeated." Giovanni snapped his fingers and a Grunt entered the room with three small boxes - the same boxes trainers used to hold their badges in.
"You see, each one of you will have your own set of badges to qualm any questions. The three of you met in Johto, after receiving your Fog Badges." The Grunt placed the three boxes on the desk and opened each one. The badges inside were all different: six inside, but two of them matched each others. All three contained a Fog Badge and a Feather Badge. "It does not matter which case you take. Now then, Cammy. Leo. Tina. I leave you to your work." With that, he sat back down in his chair and turned his back to them, Persian hissing them out. The Leader had spoken.

Sapphire panted heavily as Arcanine refused to stop firing off Flamethrowers at him. He had yet to successfully dodge even one of them, each either hitting him dead on or clipping his legs. "Goddammit!" Sapphire growled. Avoiding attacks was much harder than he'd expected. "Dodge an attack and I'll let you fight," the Arcanine egged on. He knew that's exactly what the blue Houndoom wanted, nothing more than to be the one landing the blows and spewing the flames. "Reeeady?" he barked before dashing off, fire consuming his body. Fire Wheel no doubt. Sapphire eyes the living ball of fire carefully before swiftly running towards it. At first it seemed that he'd run head long into it, a suicidal tactic. At the last second he leaped to the side nearly avioding the attack. His timing, however, was just off and the attack barely grazed his hind leg. Good, not not good enough he decided.
His breathing was heavy after the attack once more. The advantages of dodging were beinging to make sense, he could see why Mitsu had asked it of him so often. Her defensive style did have some good points. Defense could be the best offense as times. Another curse word escaped as he snarled, displaying his pristine white fangs. He was getting tired with the contsant movement. Once more he thought to himself. I can get it this time!

The battle took a long time, a few times Brook did get tackled into the sand but a quick midair synthesis healed him up fast. It was a good thing that the Milotic didn't have any ranged attacks yet or Robin and Brook would never have been able to pull this off. By the time the Milotic succumbed to the poison, with much yelling and arm waving from the Swimmer. The man upon losing had made it his goal to become the best swimmer in the world and had run off into the ocean, even though his pokemon needed healing. Robin and Brook exchanged glances before Robin shrugged. Picking up Brook he put him up onto her head before bending down and grabbing Luffy's tail and dragging him behind her. Even if Brook for the most part was healed it would be a good thing to get him to the pokemon center. Holding back a yawn as she walked through town Robin figured it was time for her to go to a pokemon center to. As she walked by she noticed Mitsu and that other guy from before, waving as she walked through the door. Finding the last couch that wasn't claimed by someone Robin tossed Luffy and her bag onto it before taking Brook Nurse Joy. "Nurse Joy, Brook got scuffed up and I was wondering if you could heal him."
"Of course I can." Nurse Joy said with a smile as she picked up the small Hoppip and set him on the healing machine. She pressed a few buttons while Brook watched her curiously. The machine beeped a few times before it started to flash under Brook. After a moment it settled down and Brook looked perfect. The small pokemon looked down at himself happily before jumping over using his light body to make it over to Robin easily. "Your Hoppip is very cute. I hope you have a good night."
"Thank you very much. I hope you have a good night to." Robin responded with a smile. Putting Brook back into his pokeball Robin made her way over to the couch where Luffy was with her stuff. Going through her bag Robin pulled out a pair of PJ's and headed off to the bathroom to change. Humming slightly she stripped off her dirty clothes and changed into her clean pajama's and brushed her teeth before heading out back into the main room. Grabbing a blanket Robin made her way over to her couch and settled down into it moving Luffy to the side. It would be a good nights sleep for her to refuel for the big party the next year.

Mike could only watch as the Thunderbolt attack tore through the air and slammed into his Typhlosion. That's gonna hurt. He winced as he witnessed the surge of electricity wrap up Felsic with a painful sounding crackle, but only slightly. He knew that his Pokemon wouldn't want to go out any other way than by fighting til' his last bit of strength gave out. And he did. Felsic roared weakly, glaring at Themis with a mix of anger and respect before collapsing. A small puff of smoke escaped from his nose before he was recalled into his Pokeball.
"Okay, not bad." said Mike as he exchanged Pokeballs on his belt. "But can you handle this?" With a flick of his wrist, the brown haired boy released his infamous Ampharos. Beacon looked around in his usual oblivious daze, snapped back into reality with a literal snap of his trainer's fingers.
"Okay Beacon," he began, adopting an overly phony upset tone. "That Manectric is a mean Pokemon who called you names! Like stinky! Attack him with your Signal Beam."
The Ampharos let out a surprised gasp, holding a flipper over his mouth. What a jerk! How dare he call him names, he's never even see him before in his life! Was it his breath? Was he ugly? As Beacon mulled over a dozen or so hypothetical questions in his mind Mike could only wonder if this would work. Felsic lost his focus when he was angry, but perhaps Beacon could somehow be able to concentrate if he was able to identify his opponent as a foe rather than a playmate. Beacon's eyes began to tear up. He was hurt...and angry. The gem on his forehead began to flash with bright light as the Ampharos let out a sorrow-filled wail, firing a red and blue spiraling beam at the meanie.

"I couldn't picture myself with a crowd like that, having dinner with someone elses family. Hell, I can't even imagine having dinner with my own family... or lack there of. Not really my style anyway." he wasn't sure what she was smiling about, but he didn't suppose one really needed a reason to smile in a place like this. It really was a beautiful sight, but the serene beauty of the ocean front at night time was second in his mind at the moment. He was more interested in the Rapidsh, he had never seen one like it. Appart from the color, it had an air of expirience and strength to it, he could tell that this pokemon had been trained well and raised by a competent trainer. Mitsu was looking more and more impressive, he had a long way to go before he would be any kind of match for her and her pokemon. "It's getting late, guess I should find a nice spot on the beach to sleep in, preferably something that'll cast some shade in the morning." As he said this, he looked around for any large trees or buildings by the sand. He hated sleeping on the pavement, the warm sand seemed like a much better alternative. Of course, he didn't want to be woken to early by the sun or by the blowing sand, so he would have to find a place that would also act as a decent wind shield.
