And...Kaen's too nice to barge in yet. He'll start off on the wrong foot soon enough, though.))))
Kaen had quite a number of questions poking about. What to ask though...
First priority's at hand, he understood that at the moment the people who felt the worst was Hayato and Alcina.
Hayato was just heart breaking for anyone to see, for someone who went through that much pain and turmoil... Kaen at least understood the poor man had gone through enough to last a lifetime from what he heard and saw in his brief stay there.
Alcina?...
Wait...Alcina...why did that ring a dull bell.
Right, Sui was talking about her earlier, but what else...
What else? He couldn't place it just yet...
He sighed and watched the two, sitting a few paces away. The Hanazoku wanted to wait to ask, he truely did, but to try and get as much information was also a top priority...he'd just ask after the prep talk.

Kuromi's mouth twitched in an odd way. I have the odd feeling that somebody said something that would offend me...and I think I'm being watched.
"Are you just going to sit here and watch?" Saga was hanging upside down from a branch above Kuromi.
"You'll blow my cover if you're too loud," Kuromi said, quietly. "What are you doing here anyways?"
"I got bored," Saga replied. "How's your wrist?"
"It's fine."
"What happened between you and Sui while I was gone?"
"He-" Kuromi stopped. "How do you know something happened?"
"You're staring at him as if you're going to kill him..."
((Finally satisfied odd urge to post... whee ))

Rhian smirked as she travelled into the underworld. Bran was just arriving, as well, and news of his exploits were what brought her down here, in the first place.
"Bran, Bran, Bran..." Rhian's voice melodically greeted him. She stalked towards him, matching his stride. "Are you not eating well? You look so pale. Or could it be that you're hiding something from everyone. Possibly...a stranger locked safely away."

Oh, boy. I'm in trouble now. Bran just managed to stop the shiver at the thought of what his dear sister would do if she found out the truth. And, as always, she had to hit right on the mark. So close, she probably didn't even realize it herself...
"My dear, sister. A picture of loveliness as always." The mazoku gave her one of his most charming smiles, covering up his unease with the finesse he was known for. "Did you do something with your hair? You look positively stunning." He highly doubted this change of subject would work for long, but it never hurt to flatter.

Leri Sui walked over to Hayato. He had no intentions of wanting Hayato to feel any more miserable than he currently felt. He sat down beside the wolf kizoku and looked at the sky with him.
Now, it wasn't the best way to start a conversation or any pep talk but after a moment of silence, Sui mumbled to Hayato an obvious 'wise-fact' to men, "... Women are troublesome, aren't they?"( *ish alive~* ) Hayato sighed, turning his head towards him. He did not reply for a moment, trying to regain himself. He had just obviously shown his emotions! He hit himself inwardly. But why not? He did...trust them, did he not? Or would they end up like what Akira had done? Betray him? Just when he trusts them? "You are not angry?" He asked finally, and looked at the others. "It's my fault that Alcina was taken." Growling in anger, he buried his face in his unbroken arm's hand.

Kisuna looked at Hayato in surprise. He actually cared about Alcina? The little boy frowned, remembering that he was the reason that they had split apart. But hey, at least he came back, his conscience spoke to him. Kisuna sighed and walked over as well, sitting opposite of Sui. He took Hayato's unbroken hand away from his face, "If you're going to travel with us, at least trust us. The reason why we're all here is to help Alcina... and as we travel, it's a bit of an automatic trust... and if you can't accept that we should look out for each other and that we care for each other then why did you decide to come back?"
"We don't care whose fault it is." Sui said, "Our goal right now is to find Alcina and make sure she's alright." He smiled, "We're not angry. We're glad that you came back."
"Alcina is the one who..." Sui paused before giving out her 'secret', "... cares for you as much as she cares for any other." Or more!.... Sui thought.
"I was told by a certain someone that the person who came to Alcina first was someone rude and reckless. I'm pretty sure that's you Hayato. Do you know what that means?" Sui chuckled, "You are Alcina's first friend."

"Oh Bran...how you do go on. I'm sure I know how you gather all the women to your bed chambers, now. Perhaps, that's how you captured so many women. I'm sure that's the reason you've padlocked your door so tightly that not even I could enter. I couldn't even leave you the special present I gathered for you earlier."
Rhian offered out a box, tightly sealed with a bow. "I saved the best part for you, from today's ventures."

Bran took the box with some mild trepidation. "Well, for that and because non-females tend to try and pound down my door..."
A present from his sister was never a good thing. Hoping it wouldn't be too bad, he opened it up to reveal a human heart. Trying to keep his face from turning green, he kept his disgust out of his voice. "Just what I've always wanted. Your intuition never ceases to amaze me, darling sister."

Rhian's smile widened at her brother's disgust.
"Bran, your appreciation for my devotion to you has always uplifted my spirits. I'm sure you'll be glad to know that I've planned my latest attack around your little situation. Hmm...don't let the others stay around your door, too long. They're not all idiots, you know. Some might even figure out she's in there."
Rhian turned to look around. "Now, for my next choice to victimize. I think I'll choose a worthy opponent from our lair. Any suggestions?"

She knows... "I don't know... One of her friends maybe?" he said casually. There were two strangers in the neko territory, so that should help. He didn't really want to send his sister after any of them but... "She really is just a toy I've picked up, but she has this annoying attachment to one of the wolf-kizoku. It'd be nice to get rid of him. Last saw him and the other Strangers were in the neko territory..."
If he didn't say something she'd get suspicious... "If you'll excuse me, I do need to go play with my new toy. Don't want her to feel lonely. Though..." He put the "present" down and came up behind his sister, grasping in to a tight possessive hug. He didn't have to stand too far on tiptoe to whisper into her ear, "No one could be as good as you," before raining kisses on her neck.
(( eek *whacks Bran* Bad boy! That's incest and you don't have ignorance to blame like Luke and Leia did...))

Rhian felt her brother's embrace and brotherly love before she began to walk away.
"Keep out of trouble," Rhian warned sternly, for the first time since seeing Bran. "I wouldn't have to show my authority over you in front of the others, if something were to go...wrong."
Rhian walked out of sight and found a random Mazoku wandering around. "Aeddan," Rhian's voice lulled out. The Mazoku turned in response. "I have a task for you. There are these pesky little Strangers hanging around. I need someone I can rely on to help me weaken their forces, even if it's by destroying one of them. I need you to venture out and find the Strangers. Take your time and destroy one or don't even bother coming back here."
Rhian watched the Mazoku bow and leave her presence. Afterwards, Rhian retired to her room, where she relaxed on her bed. If Aeddan left and actually succeeded, the chances of their winning this ongoing war point more towards the Mazoku side.

Hayato looked at them as if they had grown another head. He opened his mouth to retort, but he closed it. Friend, eh? Instead, he began to chuckle. "You guys are bunch of idiots. Talking of trust and friendship." He pulled his broken arm away from Kisune, wincing in pain. Staggering to his feet, he looked at them. "But thats one of the reasons I like you." He grinned.

((I do live. crying I may be a bit more slow though considering I started college. I'm sorry in advance.))
Kaen was glad that the mood lifted. The hanazoku smiled as he climbed to his feet. He may have not been there long, nor part of this group officially, but he did feel a connection somehow between with them. That for now that was good enough for him to stay.
Still, there was that unexplained tugging in the back of his mind. It was driving him crazy...
And all the other questions buzzing in his head too...
He smiled softly, but awkwardly as he rubbed his arm in a nervous motion. Soon...soon he'd ask, he didn't want to bring up anything to immediatly bring the mood back down. Kaen would just stay silent and try to blend in with the background.
