Mordranna gasped in surprise as R1 addressed her. "Friendly droid you have there," she sheepishly addressed Angel. "Anyway, an assassin, you say?" she inquired, shaking her head.
Following Angel's cue, Mordranna also brang her own azure blade to life. "Security droids ... sounds like fun."
At once, a man stepped out from the hallway, retching and gagging. "Nerve gas ..." he started with a cough. "Madman on the ship!"
Mordranna then looked to Angel. "I'll handle this," she calmly stated. Reaching out with the Force, she touched the man's forehead, willing away his ill-being with a healing touch. "A pretty handy skill," she added, giving Angel a small smile. She then turned her attention to the man. "Are you allright?"
"A-alarms ... hull breach ... a madman with a vibroshiv ... dressed in the most worn looking stormtrooper armor ..."
Mordranna frowned at the man's description. Turning to Angel, she stated, "In addition to the droids, I think we may have a loose cannon aboard,"

He glanced at the screen.
"Looks fine." he said.
I've only seen a few, but that looks fine.
"Why don't you go watch the door or something. I'm waiting for a call." he said, going back to leaning by the console, and watching her as he passed the time.

" I guess that means we may end up battling some psycho on the bridge. Serpent shouldn't be a problem. Since she's working with us, the Federation I mean, she should listen to my order to stand down if she tries after you. She may decide otherwise though, so be careful. " She then looked at the wording on her sabers for a moment and said quietly, " I never thought there'd be a day when a Sith and a Jedi end up working together... In a sense, both sides only differ in how they achieve their goals... In the end though, they're virtually the same. " She started heading on. " Shall we? "

Ali'anna shrugged nonchalantly and sauntered over to the door, holding her blaster at hip level. This is rather boring. One man, not a whole crew. She bit her lip, hiding an impish grin. Unless...
"Would you mind if I...had a word with the prisoners?" she asked sweetly.

After a few quick seconds she decided she didn't need his permission. She went over to the console and checked the status of things. She quickly made a pass key by encrypting a spare in the computer and grabbed a gas mask and clearance beacon. "I'll try to save some for you, dear." She winked a final time before putting on the mask and fleeing into the corridor. She took a complicated path that took her through the network of corridors containing prisoners. Because of the beacon the droids wouldn't attack her and she watched the crewmembers writhe in agony with a warped expression hidden behind her masked face.
When she had her fill, she sliced the crewmembers apart and moved to the next corridor. She continued this process as efficiently as watching their agony would allow, managing to slaughter a good number of the crew.

"Let us go, then." Mordranna merely gave Angel a nod. Resisting the urge to tell her to be careful as well, as Angel was more or less on her home turf, so to speak, she then spared a glance at the crewman she healed. "Listen to me. If you can get to an escape pod on here, use it. and try to get as many of your comrades away from here." Pausing for effect, she added, "I have a bad feeling about this,"

Angel stopped for a moment and wondered why the crewman they just encountered was in agony. She quickly realized it meant the gas vents were on, and looked around for spare gas masks, and took 2. " Here, we'll probably need these. " she said, and tossed one over to Mordranna, then put the other on herself. It wasn't long before one of the droids came within range of the hangar and detected intruders. Just as it tried to aim for a shot, Angel threw her sabers at it, and using her levitate power to manipulate them, slashed it to several pieces in a somewhat elegant light show. Summoning back to her hands, she said, " If nothing else, when the war's over, I can always use that skill to entertain at clubs. " She gave a slight laugh.

The Auric Runner reemerged from hyperspace several dozen lightyears from Nal Hutta. Cale, garbed in his normal outlaw attire, had assembled his "crew" in the Lounge.
He paced back and forth and then finally stood before them.
"ok gentle beings, listen up. as you may or may not know, theres a bounty on my head. a large bounty. and as it stands, the majority of you don't have any real reason to stay in inhabited space either. Alinn, You crossed the Hutts aparently. Rak, you want to live the life of a free booter. and Cambot, you have to do whatever I say. well this is the situation. The Auric Runner is going Raider."
Cambot and Raklar weren't suprised in the least.
Alinn however was.
"wait, I hitched a ride on a Pirate ship?!"
Cale Nodded. "Nows probably the best time to raid. The galaxy is at war again. that means Material is going to be shipped in increased numbers. and since the spacies are blasting each other, they won't have much time to resort to hunting down one band of brigands. not if we're smart about it."
He placed a datapad before them, upon it were typed up a series of rules."These are the articles of behavior as written by my ancestor Moregan Darksun some 500 years past. They are the laws that will govern what happens on my ship. You will obey them or suffer a deserving punishment."
Alinn's eyes goggled as she read the articles. "what the hell is this?! these are practically barbaric!"
Cale eyed her critically. "Such as?"
"Like this: any being caught stealing from the crew shall have their ears and nose slit, then abandoned dirtside where they will suffer further trouble. doesn't that seem a little harsh?!"
"No." Cale said, crossing his arms. "My ship, My laws. Thats the way it is in the pirate world."
Alinn got up from the table and in Cale's face. "Well then let me off this stupid ship right now!"
"No. One, you know we've gone pirate. You could alert the authorities. Two, we're shorthanded. I need an extra hand on the ship to aid in actions. so like it or not, you're drafted. at least until we can get more hands."
She glared darkly at him, clearly not liking this situation."we'll what happens if we mutiny?"
Cale's expression was unchanged. "you mean if just you mutinieed right? Rak is a barabel shockboxer. he wants to be a pirate and is no stranger to hardship. he's with me. as for Cambot, as annoying as his is, he's as loyal as they come."
The two mentioned crewmen looked at each other.
"well he seems to have us pegged." Cambot remarked.
"So Miss Alinn, the Crew still favors me." Cale continued." and in the event of a mutiny, by crew's vote the mutineers are either spaced or marooned. Like either of those options?"
The woman considered them in her head and sat down grumbling and defeated.
Cale went on with his speech."so now that thats settled, we get down to buisness. I'll handle the flying. Alinn and Rak, you got our turrets. Cambot, you act as copilot."
He struck a pose and held a clenched fist before th0em. "Gentlebeings, This is the start of a grand adventure. With this ship and this crew, we will become legend. Stories will be told about is in years to come, Entire fleets will run from our colors, and Convoys will drop their cargo and flee at the sight of our aproach."
He grinned a rogueish smile. and added. "why, the Devil himself will fear our names."
He straightened out and affixed his crew with a stare. "well don't just sit there! Man your stations! we got a reputaion to make! Heave to you scurvy dogs!"
His crew got up from the circular couch and went to go about the captain's orders.
when he thought he was gone, Cale reached into a pocket and gripped the shards he had in his posession.
"Maybe I can finally put all that behind me. The dreams, the jedi, the sith, all of it. Mom, Dad, Gandpa: Hope you're watching. because Im gonna bring the Darksun name back. You wait and see."
he released his grip on the shards and returned to the cockpit, laying in a course for wealth and fame.
at least, he hoped so.

Mordranna gingerly took the proffered gas mask from Angel. "Thanks."
No sooner than the masks were on, a battle droid appeared. She watched in awe as Angel dispatched it, and also gave a slight chuckle at her comment. "That's very good." Still, their reverie was short lived, even as they made good time towards the bridge, her own blue blade cutting away yet another sentry droid. "Hopefully, this serpent you mentioned hasn't gotten to Cajin," she pensively sighed. "You might remember him from Ossus. Former stormie, quiet fellow. Anywho, he sent a transmission to the Hope Eagle, asking for help," refering to the frigate outside.

"Fff...I don't care." said Cajin, waving Alianna on.
Well, that gets her out of my hair.
I suppose she could screw up the ship, but, oh well. he thought to himself.
I hope someone from the Republic is coming. I just don't know when. Contacting me about it would be comforting, but they probably can't do that without the FSL getting in on it. So I just sit and wait for the Republic to come and get me off this dump, or for the FSL to come and shoot me dead. Back to waiting.
I wonder if this thing gets Holonet Premiu-Just keep alert. he thought, as he waited for his relief.

Droid after droid was scrapped as Angel easily slashed them apart while they tried to get shots off, and those that managed to fire were either deflected or missed entirely. " Hmm... These things must have all been damaged in their sensors or something. I don't remember any of our droids being this bad at fighting. Maybe it's just me... " Angel said, to which R1 replied. < I hope that doesn't include me. You know how accurate I am with the anti-warhead turbolaser on the Sundered Rose. > " Of course not. You're the reason the ship stays in such fine shape too. That's nothing to look down on. " Angel suddenly stopped after peering around the corner of a hallway. " There's the bridge. " She motioned for absolute silence and quietly crept towards it, until her back was against the edge of the doorway, just out of sight from anything inside. She then started to wonder the best method to deal with whoever was in the bridge.

Ali'anna continued her masquerade of death maniacally, skewering and severing crewmembers left and right. She came to the scene of a crewmember helping others into an escape pod. Grinning behind her mask, she pulled out her SO-19 and gunned them all down. They fell with surprised and anguished looks on their faces.
Ali'anna disengaged all the pods, then jumped into the network of cables and beams arcing over the escape pod bay. She descended upon those attempting to escape without mercy.

Mordranna merely shook her head as Angel commented on the performance of the ship's droids. "It seems we're in the right place," she then said as Angel told her that they were at the bridge. I hope that this "Serpent" didn't get Cajin, she pensively mused, observing Angel's motion for silence.
Still, on this level, Mordranna certainly hoped that one day, they both would indeed be on the same side. The things we could accomplish together! Even so, she felt that this was a positive first step.

Using her levitate power, Angel used her sabers as crude anti-gravity boots by standing on them and made her way over the doorway, still out of sight, so that she would be on the other side, and motioned for Mordranna to go where she had just been, so that they could both make their move at the same time. She then tried to figure out what exactly that move would be.
