((tell me if this is better))

Niame was irritated by the assignment, but he was not theteacher, so he started. He repeated the process he had done before, but he had to concentrate even more. He let all disturbances fade into the nothingness that was the world. He was solely dedicated on the task at hand, slowly, he bagan to feel the chakra build in his hand, but he could not see any. Sweat started to gather on his brow and he finally broke the concentration. 'This won't be as easy as the last one' he thought.

Niame caught his breath for a moment and concentrated once more on his task. Gradually, the birds, wind, and loghts were blurring and the feeling of the chakra being focused once more flooded into his hand. Niame concentrated even harder, shutting his eyes. When he felt he could not exert any more energy without a short rest, he opened his eyes again. He could see the swirling blue fire-like chakra surrounding his hand lightly and he allowed himself a small smile. He released the concentration and started to pant audibly, allowing the cool air into his lungs. He let his emotions of delight and pride flood him as he rested and mentally his confidence was lifted, immensely.

Niame let his overconfidence get the best of him and started his next try without fully resting. He rushed into his assignment letting the sounds and sights fill his finely attuned senses. After a good solid five minutes he could feel only the slight irritation in the base of his palm. He was shrouded with the consuming fire of rage and he thought out loud, "This is why emotions are useless!" He took some deep breaths and allowed him to supress his anger, which took around ten minutes. He mentally cursed himself for letting his emotions get the better of him. He thought about the proceedure he had used when he was sucessful and compared it to that of his last attempt. The different was as obvious as ever, he was not focused and he allowed his pride to make him believe he could not fail.

Niame became depressed over his failure. 'Damn! After allowing that one flood of pride and joy, I can't hold my emotions as well,' he thought, 'but I have to give it another try, emotions or not, or else the loud mouth will figure out something is wrong.' Niame, still filled by his depression, half-heartedly started to concentrate his chakra. Nothing happened, not even the slight stirring of the chakra as he had felt before. Niame felt the sweat start to seep through his pores once more. Even this small amount of effort and concentration was too much after his last thre attempts, even if one had been sucessful. He kept the meager concentration up for a little longer before he finally gave up on it. As soon as he let the concentration slip through his losely grasped fingers, an overwhelming weariness flooded through every cell is his body, and he let his head fall heavily, without resistance. It thumped on the desk, but he was to tired to feel the slight pain it had caused. He breathed heavier than before and let his limbs fall loosely, so as not to use any energy to move them or even just keep them suspended. They swung down to his sides and remained there as he closed his eyes and let rest rejuvenate him.

Niame had somewhat caught his brethe, although full strength was eluding him everlastingly. He decided it was about time he tried again, so he held his hand out in front of him and attempted once more to focus the chakra inside him into that one spot. He could feel the irritation of the chakra right beneath his skin, as if it was a spider, awaiting its prey. He focused harder, but it seemed to him, that no matter the effort he put into it, the chakra would not emerge from its cage, its confinement withing him. He released his focus and allowed himself a few moments to breathe.

Niame wasn't even sure if he was physically able to complete this assignment. If he ever did, it would take a much longer time than the last assignment. Niame started breathing more smoothly and he could no longer hear the continuous fast beat of his heart pumping blood into every corner of his body. Niame decided he should attempt it once more and he held his hand out in front of him. He tried to focus the chakra into his palm, yet he could hardly feel anything at all. There was only a slight tickle in the center of his hand. He let his rm fall onto the desk heavily and closed his eyes in frustration. He was sweating, and if he failed again, he'd end up being too tired to go on without a rest.

Niame, eager not to show weakness or dissapointment, held him arm out again. His exhaustion from his previous failures started to double over as he started to bring chakra into his hand again. He started to sweat even harder and his vision started to blur from the physical strain. He could feel a pounding in his head as if someone was beating it against a rock. His muscles tensed and tightend, his jaw clenched, his other hand gripped into a fist, his heart sped up, and he began to pant, hard. It finally became too much and he allowed his focus to slip away, his limbs loosen and fall limp, and his heart to race. He liad his head on the desk and relished in the cool sensation the wood brought on his face. 'Six failures and one success. I'm pitiful' he thought, before his eyes shut and he let his mind become quiet.

Niame was in the state of exhaustion for well into twenty minutes before he found the strength to lift his head. He was determined to try again, despite his still obvious weariness. He started to lift his arm, feeling as if it was a training weight set on a ton. His arm shook as it slowly rose above the desk. Niame tried as hard as he possibly could to push aside his weariness, but to no avail. It seemed that the harder he concentrated on his task, the more tired he became. He decided he would have to just try the task in this state. He started to attempt to pull his chakra into his hands, but all he could feel was a slight irritaion trying to move up his arm. His eyes glassed over and his vision blurred before he allowed his hand to fall. He felt the sting of disapointment, but forced it back, not wanting a repeat of his last emotional episode.

Niame allowed his body and mind to recollect themselves before holding his hand out in front of him once more. He closed his eyes and pushed all thoughts of failure, weriness, and distractions away while he was consumed by his focus. He felt the irritation of charka moving through his arm, but he didn't dare open his eyes and break the focus he had attained. Once he felt that there was no more he could exert, no more he could focus chakra, he opened his eyes to see the chakra engulfing his hand. It flickered like a fire, alive and unpredictable. He stared on at it for a while before releasing his hold. As soon as he did, he began to pant, but he could still go on. He had to.

Niame rushed into his next try. He did not take the time to quiet the choatic world around him, but simply pushed, with all his force, trying to force chakra from him. His head started to ache, but he kept on. His arm began trembling and his brow soaked with sweat. He swayed with a dizzyness that had come upon him and finally, his body could not maintain it's concentration. His arm fell, like a rock, onto the desk and he panted harder. He had not taken the time he needed to prepare, so he had failed. He forced his dissapointment from his mind as he decided he could try at least one more time.
