Kioko stared at the Doctor K. She gasped as she took the handerchief from him and examined it. She hadn't seen this liquid for years. ever since she got kicked out of the regiment. She stared back at doctor K, not sure whether or show a face of appreciation or one of confusion. Either way, she placed the handerchief on strobe's wound and rubbed it on it. The liquid was meant to burn a little, but with some additional magic added to it, proved to be a very strong regenerating potion. It would heal his injuries and restore a part of his energy as well. Kind of like an elixer but better in a ways.
"h-how are you feeling?" she asked worriedly.
she had applied what healing magic she had left and it expanded across the potion, greatly increasing its powers.

The instant Kioko grabbed the hankercheif Doctor K had already begun turning to return to the place he once stood, waiting a moment while she applied the liquid before speaking. The clear shimmering substance that had been applied was no ordinary elixer. "The thing that you now set to be absorbed into Strobe's wounds is the very concoction of mine used to return you experiments to the living once some circumstance leads death to claim you." Doctor K tapped the tips of his shined shoes in the dirt in hopes of removing some of it from the soles. "However, it does have a nasty little side effect on those who have already found their powers, in a few moments Strobe will lose his ability to control his own, he will temporarily become an average human, with no powers beyond those of all humans. I imagine that contact with the substance might hinder Kioko's powers as well, though not so much as it is not direct transferrence. In any case, the point of this is to see how you all fare when a piece of your sub-society is, in one way or another, removed. For a time, approximately three days, you will be forced to cope with the wilderness without Strobe's power to control heat and plasma. Despite how this may have come about, I do wish you the best of luck and hope to see you prevail above these inconveniences." He turned back to face the lot of experiments once again, a calm look of melancholy now appeared. He heard Patrick's comment, but did not show any sign to acknowledge it before speaking. "And your idle threats will not be feared, child. If you believe yourself able to bring down this simple scientist, you may be very disappointed." Though still calm, the doctor bore an air of imperviousness, as if despite all that he had told him, they still knew nothing.

Strobe wasn't exactly aware of the conversation around him. The images around him were blurry when in motion, but extraoridinarily clear when still. One of the clearest things he noticed was when Doctor K got earily close to him and Kioko, then handed her a bottle of some bright liquid. There was a strangeness about that man, and something he hadn't noticed before, a peculiar singilarity to his eyes. More blurs, then pressure as Kioko pressed something against him. There was a slight stinging, but he didn't quite notice it at first. As time passed, he felt the stinging more and more, until it burned like Iodine on a long scrape.
"Ah!" He whispered in pain, one which was refreshing and unpleasant all at once. Feeling such a minor pain as this meant that the other pain must have gone away. And, indeed, he did feel better, like he could move and talk again.
"What is that stuff?" Strobe asked jokingly, "And, can I buy it retail?" It was a poor shot at a joke, but only meant to lighten the spirits anyway. Then, there was a sharp twinge in his eye. It wasn't a pain, but it may have been one for the damage it did. Strobe's powers are linked to all of his senses in ways he never could have imagined. As they began to fade, he began to lose some touch with some of those instincts. His plasmodic membrane slowly became inactive and he noticed a change in the sonds of his enviornment. The sun, the largest body of local plasma, had immited a beacon which he had never noticed until he lost touch with it, and so the light which it radiated lost some of it's glimmer. The heat which he unconsciously detected all around him, slowly ebbed it';s way for the cold. he could no longer sense the body heat of others around him, and even the safe arms of Kioko lost some of their warmth. The world in general became an overall darker and colder place for Strobe, not only figuratively, but literally as well.
"Wha... What have you done to me!?!"

Kioko felt sorry, she shoudlve asked. She knew what it was, but it was the only way to save him fromy dying, a 3 day period of consequence didnt seem much, but her eyes started watering anyways.
"i-i'm sorry, i shoudlve asked you first, it wasnt my place to just heal you with it." she said through her cracking voice.
She felt the effects of the potion just as soon as she started, he healing powers began to falter, due to the lack of energy and the potion's side effects. She turned towards the doctor with a stict face, she woulvde never thought these words would ever come out for the doctor.
"thanks Doc." she said in a barely audible voice.
She wiped the tear of her face, and continued to try healing Strobe with the remaining of her powers.

Strobe slowly stood, gazing the doctor.
"Changes?" he said loudly, "I can SEE THE CHANGES! WHEN DO I CHANGE BACK?" He didn't mean to yell, it was something about this place. The place that he was in now, without the familiar light and sound of the world he knew. He was scared, and it was playing tricks on his mind.

"strobe, you should be grateful. your alive and you can see, maybe not as well as you used to but you can see better than me." patrick said understandingly.
