Mar looked him in the eyes intently

Oh, I beg to differ, today is the grand finale of your father's existence.
Today is your father's execution! Don't you want to see your father's demise for what he has done to your mother?

Mar laughed again, this time even harder

Ahh yes... isn't it grand? Why don't you come with me.

Mar opened the portal to hell.

If you come, I'll give you a present... and some precious information about your mother.

Mar stepped into the portal.

Mar appeared before Torikimaru on the other side of the Portal.

Welcome to Hell, the home of the fallen.

Mar began walking towards an enormous cathedral made of black stone.
The cathedral looked as if it were old, and it was much larger than any structure ever seen in the mortal realm.

Grand isn't it? The Dark Cathedral, once said to be owned by Dracula. This is the symbol of Lucifer's great powers. It's said that it's a creation of his mind, and that at any time, he could alter it.

Kinda hard to believe, but once you meet him, you'll understand.

Mar motioned for Torikimaru to follow

C'mon, they're waiting for you. And make sure you bow to Lucifer.

Mar laughed at his bravery.

You will bow, it is a sin to not bow in front of an immortal.

And, this place is not for scum, it is for the fallen. Ones rejected from God because they could not fulfill their life duties. The ones who lost their child because they could not afford to pay for food, shelter, and clothing.

Mar began to get angry..

This is a place of salvation for those poor souls. Haven't you noticed? Everyone here is human. Only the rich and wealthy souls go to Heaven! Why?
Because they can take time out of their lives to pay homage to God!

Whereas these poor souls have to work all week long in order to survive!

Mar's anger subsided as he entered the halls of the Great Cathedral. On the alter, was Lucifer, sitting on his throne. Lucifer took on the image of a noble human, his face was calm; however, his eyes were black. To his side, Abbadon, one of his generals, stood.

Bound in shackles surrounded in a demonic circle lay Torikimaru's father.

Upon arriving at the alter, Mar bowed

I'll tell you after we're done here.

Mar walked up towards the alter.

"Blasphemy! Where is Death?" said Abbadon.

Mar held out his hand, he was carrying a skull

I sent him to his early... retirement.

A booming laugh echoed in the Cathedral

"So the old geezer is finally dead? Hahahahaha! Impressive, Saint of Death" Lucifer said in agreement, "Well now, lets get on with the execution."

"Who is that halfer over there?" said Abbadon.
Ahh, yes, that is our prisoner's son. I brought him here for ... special reasons.
"Hahaha, interesting" said Lucifer, "Begin."

Mar stood looming over top of the Devil of Earth.

I, Mar, Saint of Death, have come to release your soul for your sins. Lucifer, the almighty immortal has granted me this right.

Mar took out his scythe and stabbed the prisoner in the chest. A bright red light blanketed the room. Finally, his body disappeared from existence leaving a rounded ruby in Mar's hands.

Mar walked towards Torikimaru.

Under authority of Lucifer, I, the Saint of Death, grant to you under birth right, the power of the Devil of Earth and crown you the rightful King of Demons.

Do you accept?

Mar held the red ruby in front of Torikimaru

Torikimaru looked at the ruby, his arms still crossed. "I came here to get information on my mother, you never said anything about becoming the King of The Demons." he said. "I am a HALF demon, what makes you think that I am the true King of Demons?" he asked.
