Okay, so totally need y'all advice on something. I have a friend who totally went addict for a game. To the point where when I needed someone to talk to because of personal reasons, it took two calls each a week apart and weeks of waiting to get a 1 minute call back saying they were busy. It was kind of hurtful seeing that a GAME ranked higher then a friend of 2 years... Anyways, now after so many months has passed they've come around and I have no way of telling them the truth without sending them into tears.
Any clues what to do?

It was kind of hurtful seeing that a GAME ranked higher then a friend of 2 years... Anyways, now after so many months has passed they've come around and I have no way of telling them the truth without sending them into tears.
Any clues what to do? Well.... as much as I hate seeing people cry sometimes it is neccessary to get the point across. But, I find that usually, the shorter the explaination, the less likely there will be sorrow. I'm sure if you just tell them that you are upset that they put a game ahead of a relationship with a good friend, they will understand. Becareful, this is usually when they pulol out a good excuse, but seeing as you only got an "I'm busy" from them, that's a good counter-arguement. But never-the-less, you need to just tell them that you are disappointed with them. But since it is clear you still wish to be friends, also tell them that. Just keep it short. The longer the explaination, the longer the emotions have to build up. I'd just say "Look, you totally ignored me for months all because of a game. We're friends, but it hurts to think that a game would come before me. I'd still like to stay friends though. Okay?" Or something like that. Just keep it short.

I agree with what Ocarina said to an extent.
Just be straight up with your friend. Be honest and truthful. The truth may hurt, but if that is the only way you are going to be able to get the point across then so be it.

Really busy this week and next week; good thing is that I'm done with my AP U.S History exam, bad thing, I tanked on the writing part so I'm not expecting good results. Year's worth of work down the drain. crying
But anyway, what about you guys? Anything up or down?

I still have two weeks before my finals. My work just got two more baggers, so that SHOULD take out some of the hassle that's been going on at work for me. Things are looking hopeful, but there are alot of places for things to go very very wrong, so I'm stepping carefully.

I'm...getting tired of work.
It takes up way too much of my time and I hardly have any time to myself, especially when I have friends who want me to come over their houses on my days off and I have to blow them off just because I need to rest.
Gamestop is a really easy job and all, I'm just tired of getting shitted on by the company. I mean, they push reservations and subscriptions and don't even give us commission money for getting them, instead they threaten our jobs as an insentive to get numbers. I love working around video games and all, but this company just blows. I need to find a job elsewhere, but I don't know where and I can't just quit on the spot cause I have bills to pay and I have friends who work there too, so yeah...
That's pretty much all that has been happening with me.
