Arlen came downstairs, not certain what happened last night. His hair was a mess again, and his clothes had obviously been slept in. Spotting Lily, he walked over to where she was curled up adn sat next to her. "What's wrong?" he asked softly, putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Ukaia's in love with you. Or she was." Lily answered softly, not looking at him quite yet. "And... she kissed you. You already go to her and care for her... I'm afraid." she admitted very softly. "She... she promised that she wouldn't try to take you from me, and then she kissed you..."

Wren giggled. Indeed, at times like this, Juno could be a bit of an awkward man-creature. She smiled back, dusting invisible crumbs off of her midnight blue denim minidress. She then silently went back into the kitchen to get the bread and a bottle of wine.
Juno grinned, blushing ever so slightly. "Thanks. I tried to make sure everything went well...um," he said, scratching his head, "i hope the bread isnt too hard." He chuckled. "I'm not starting out so well, am I?"

Gently, Arlen reached underneath Lily and pulled her up till she was sitting, and then transfered her into his lap, wrapping his arms around her. "Nobody could ever take me from you," he told her.

Returning with the bread basket and wine, Wren set it on the table, and backed away a bit, watching the goings on.

"Oh, I think you're doing fine for now." Cerri answered airily, reaching out to pat his cheek, though it turned to a brief caress. "Though you could lie and tell me I look stunning." she teased, then walked to one of the chairs. "The setup is rather nice... you and Wren did a good job."
Lily's arms went around his neck, and she buried her face in his chest, trembling slightly, ears flopped. "I... I wanted to think that, b-but... Ukaia is older, and prettier, and she... knows things. I was still afraid. And I think I hurt her." she added, looking up into Arlen's eyes for the first time, her own shimmering with unshed tears.

Juno smiled charmingly. "Why lie when I can tell the truth? You took the words out of my mouth." He walked over and pulled the chair out from the table for her. "Your seat, Miss Cerri."

Cerri let out a chuckle, returning his smile with one of her own before she gave a slight curtsy. "I thank you, sir Juno." she told him softly, then sat, smiling up at him. "So... are we having just spaghetti?"

Wren stifled a happy giggle and went to get the salad bowl, now that she was sure that things were starting off well. She knew Juno was nervous so she thought she'd help out bu bringing out the food.

"I already told you that she's not prettier than you," Arlen said, smiling gently. "I'm here for you first and foremost. And Ukaia, I think she's confused, but whatever happened it can be mended." Leaning down slightly he kissed her. "But that can wait."

Juno tossed a thankful look at Wren as she came out with the salad bowl. Then he looked at Cerri. "Actually, we also have garlic italian bread, plateau salad, and a surprise for dessert." He bowed lightly. "If you will excuse me, I will return with the main dish, and we can begin."

Lily bit her lower lip, looking up at him, with a slightly ashamed expression. "I've been a very silly bunny, haven't I?" she asked softly, then snuggled closer. "I... I missed you last night."
"I'll wait with baited breath, sugar." Cerri answered with a wink, then looked back to Wren and the salad. "Ooh... that looks good. Can't wait to actually eat."

"U-ukaia said she thought you might have passed out from shock. I... couldn't, just then, so I slept in an empty room." Lily told him quietly, returning his kisses with a soft one of her own. "I'm... sorry, that I didn't come and move you."

Wren smiled warmly. "I hope you like it. Its Juno's favorite salad. It has rapunzel lettuce, carrots, wild mountian mushrooms, sweet onions and spinach. Its really good," she stated, setting the bowl down and placing the tongs over top.
Juno returned form the kitchen with a magnificent pot of spaghetti which was still steaming slightly. He smiled, "Ladies first." He carefully served Cerri some spaghetti, before serving himself. Then he set the pot to the side of the table so he could see Cerri without obsticle. Everything was in reach, so Juno sat back in his chair.
Wren took this minute silence to do what she loved best...play with fire. She lit the candles and swiftly put out the matches, carrying them back to the kitchen. She had no real intention of returning. She wanted to leave them alone for a little while. Besides, her plate of food awaited her hungry stomach.
