Rei blinked "No I havent...I've been out.." Rei got up. "Will you be alright while I check on them?"
Ember growled "No harm done!? Think of all the harm youve done to his mental state!God knows im going to have nightmares for weeks So you never know what he's like!"

Bakura nodded, closing his eyes again and leaning back. The effects of the 'drug' Rei said the pharaoh had given him must've worn off. Everything looked normal, at least. He still couldn't feel his hands.
"Bakura's already pretty screwed up in the head, I doubt a few funny visions are going to drastically change that!" Atem snapped, now getting angry. "But I didn't intend on you having any, so you couldn't possibly hold me accountable for what you did."

"How the hell would you know!? Have you ever had a bad trip?" ember said angerly
Rei quietly went to check on her children.They were still fast asleep.Going back into the room with bakura she said eside him "there asleep. Try shaking and rubbing your hands."

Atem's eyes flashed furiously, but then softened. "Well, no... but how bad can it really be?"
"No, they aren't working for me..." Bakura said; his voice was choked with tears. He kept his head bowed as he studied his discolored hands intently. "They won't move, I can't feel them, they... they were taken away..." Unable to contain the emotions he had forcefully bottled away earlier, Bakura broke down, crying uncontrollably.

Ember sighed "Atem...Its like your worst nightmares only ten times stronger and come to life...."
Rei held him in her arms as she cried "there there darling its going to be ok"

Atem bit his bottom lip, trying to make up his mind, it seemed. Finally he sighed, irritated. "Yeah, it was a stupid thing for me to do. But what'm I supposed to do, just apologize? I tried calling earlier but Rei must not've woken up, and Bakura was still probably tied up where I left him."
Bakura was talking incoherently to himself, his words hard to make out through his breathless sobs. "I can't... everything... my hands..."

Rei kissed his cheak gently just holding him.She continued to gently rock him. Taking his hands in her own she rubbed them to get the blood flowing agian.
"With the way bakura hates you already, your going to have to do way more than just say your sorry..." ember said

"Oh, oh, I know... I can give him sexual favors." Atem said, jokingly. He shrugged, nonetheless. "Oh well, I guess I'll call again. Hold on." He left Ember's room, going to the pay phones and dialing as soon as he put his money in.
Bakura jumped as the phone rang. It sounded so shrill to him, and made him wince. His hands were slowly returning to normal; it felt as though someone were pricking them painfully with pins and needles, though. A thousand times a thousand pins and needles. It hurt any time his hands moved.

Ember growled and threw a tissue box at his head.
Rei reached up and grabed the phone what was in there bedroom "What" she said answering.

"Listen you" rei hissed angerly "Be very happy im not there to beat the s**t out of you." she said then hung up. she tossed the phone angerly beforelooking to bakura.

Atem stood holding the phone for a moment or two before sighing unhappily and hanging up. He returned to Ember's room. "Rei hung up on me. I'm too scared to go over there; she'll probably beat me up."
Bakura didn't need to ask to find out who it was who it was. He was shaking in exhaustion, fear, and from the effort it was taking him not to continue crying. He didn't seem angry at all. "What did the pharaoh want?"

"Good for you." Atem flashed her a smile. "Yeah, though, I was thinking of sneaking by sometime when Rei isn't there and talking to Bakura. I'd only have to threaten to give--" Atem paused when he realized he was plotting aloud. "Uhm... heh heh heh... Anyway, I'd better go soon..."
"Yeah... lay down..." Bakura mumbled, distracted. Hadn't she already tried to get him to lay down, though? Yes, he could remember that vaguely. Looking at Rei, he noticed the bandage for the first time. "I... hit you?"

"...ya know what? Screw anger managment! " ember said. Taking the I.V out she got up anger burning in her eyes.
Rei got him into bed covering him up "yea im fine" she said kissing him.
