Yeah... I've heard a lot of shitty stuff about Dell. I believe the guy at Best Buy told me if something goes out in the computer, you can't buy the part you need in a store. You have to order it directly from Dell which means not only do you have to speak to someone from like.. India that doesn't know English.. but you also have to pay for shipping and handling and probably for a part that you could have actually gotten in a store for LESS than half the price.. rofl User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. And Dell does not sell printer cartridges in stores. once again, they have to be ordered directly. Unless, of course, you know of someplace which is able to refill the cartridge....

Dell... is horrible. Spend the extra hundred dollars on the Vaio if you don't want the Mac. My old Dell had tons of problems, and I'm pretty sure most of them weren't a software problem. When you can get the BSoD on a clean install of Windows XP....

Hard drive randomly put itself in read-only mode at some point, the fan stopped working, I had more than one problem with things inside the laptop somehow coming loose, the CD drive usually wouldn't read disks, the list goes on.

I'm talking about computers in general, not just a laptop. With most laptops, that makes sense because it's all one part. That'd be like trying to take apart your monitor and finding which wire to replace o.0
