He gave a grin at her, she was being really affectionate.and she was being relaxing and he just pulled her down into his lap just because he could.
"Everything go alright with you? enjoy your trip?"
A small grin and a kiss for her just because.

Piper quite easily settled in his lap, lacing an arm behind his neck, fingers left to tap on his shoulder as her other hand took about stealing grapes from him for herself. Hey she had an appetite today and was indulging it. "He's still better than me with a blade," Once again watching Arthur before her eyes turned back to Malik. "You should at least let him have a break soon, lest you have a dead from exhaustion elf on your hands." Before nuzzling against him. "Though I dare say you constantly watching him than being a paperwork demon is indeed pleasing."

"Of course. he's been training his life with it. and he'll get a break when he does a passing job or he passes out. whichever comes first. And I have paperwork being done right now by a few slaves, while I monitor this. Oh and he's made some kind of deal with sevilin to teach him magic. I fear between the two of us he's going to have a rough time here."
A slight grin.
"And someone has an appetite I see. How are you feeling?"

"You certinally have no mercy when it comes to some, Malik D'vinn." Giving him a little smile on her part before stealing more of his snack just because. Good food, comfy and warm seat, entertainment, oh yes this was very nice now wasn't it? Very nice indeed. Though she did chuckle. "And I see you can rarely take a day off, always have to have someone doing something for you." But a little shrug to that, though a little raise of an eyebrow on the information about Sevilin. "Really now...well I do believe you're right." Giving a little sigh, leaning back against Malik's chest. "Yes, oddly enough I do. Though I think I am feeling quite well...haven't felt quite so well in a sure while. Physically speaking a little. Maybe a little down that Meilikki is gone and what not, but that can be remedied now can't it A'mael?"

It has been a day since Arthur had his little fight with Malik and the elf was surprised that the cyclops Tremor had his blade done pretty quickly; a nice long beautiful mythril blade fastened to the handle of his katana, replacing the steel one he had on it for so long. Though at least he was able to keep the steel blade since it meant something special to him, it was delivered in a wooden box covered in red silk which he decided to keep in until he found something better. But now that was far from his mind as Malik decided to train him today, and training he has done over and over again; the battles always seem to come one after another never letting Arthur even at least taking a small break. Guess he still doesn't like the way I fight or I would have been done by now... his thought was cut off when he raised his katana to block the blow of another blade weapon coming at him. He buckled a little bit under the force and glared at his opponent, a half elf who was using a sword to fight him, no magic though which would make things a bit more easier for Arthur since he could concentrate on trying to fight this half elf. But his body ached for rest and the wounds he had gotten from the other fights before this one had started to whine against every move he made, but still he pressed on trying to get a decent blow against this one before his body decided to quit and collapse from exhaustion. Grunting a little Arthur pushed back against the other blade that was placing alot of pressure down on him and went in close for a quick attack against his half elf opponent, but as it happened before the half elf moved quickly with his feet to dodge Arthur's vertical slash and quickly followed up with an attack of his own. "s**t." He whispered and quickly rolled to the right to get out of the path of the sword that was coming down upon him and he made his way into a crouched position as the blad emissed him by a few inches. Arthur stared with a light glare at the halfling from his position, and all he got was just a plain look right back with no words, as if the half elf didn't even care. Before Arthur went on the offensive his ears twitched a little to some noise coming from where Malik was sitting, it seemed that someone was talking to him though he couldn't make out who it was since he needed to be more focused on this fight. Pushing aside his curiosity the surface elf focused all his attention on the person standing in front of him and with a small yell he sprung to his feet and charged forward to being his attack.

"Of course it can, however you wish it to be remedied."
And a small chuckle.
"Of course not. some people don't get mercy from me. namely those that act agasint you and myself...and those that just in general piss me off, of course. him...he's embarassing, and I will rectify the situation promptly."
A small kiss on the top of her head, putting his arm aroudn ehr and lightly rubbing her upper arm.
"You know how much I love you."

Meilikki said her happy goodbyes to Piper in the enterway, looking around at her new home. Some of it still needed work, but on terms of completness, it was one of the only places in town actually finished.
Roarke left his lizard outside with the pup-kin and joined her soon after. Together they went through the manor, Roarke helping Meilikki along to make sure that everything was in proper shape. (To be honest, Meil didn't have a clue.) They found the master bedrooms easily enough on one floor, guest and other rooms on the one below. Library and other empty rooms to be used for Roarke's schooling. There were many other rooms too, encluding something that looked like a throne hall, minus the throne but a raised dias in both the North-East and North-West corners.

A little diversion of attention down to the arena for a moment. "He sure does have a foul mouth on him doesn't he?" Though that was more rhetorical question, seeing as he was raised by humans and it was no secret that they could be vulgar creatures. But her attention came back to Malik at his chuckling. "I just have to keep up in my visits. And I know your particulars, and you have the right to excersise them as you wish...but remember no dead things in the house and try not to get blood on my floors. They are indeed my floors now after all." One of those giggles she perhaps was getting annoyed with, tilting her head up some to nuzzle at his jaw after his kiss. "I know love...other wise you wouldn't of gone through hell to marry me, and then further hell with this whole trying to get me pregnant thing." Another nuzzle at him, sitting there and enjoying the moment and a moment indeed it was. "And I love you just as much A'mael." Yes, completely relaxed back against him, more or less marinating in the feeling of the bond between them and everything else there was. "What do you think about Malikhai?"

"Humans are like that and that's who taught him. looks like he may nto make it through this last one without collapsing. and I will keep that blood off your floors and no killing or dead things."
Then a raised brow, looking down at her.
"Thinking of names are we? Malikhai. I like it. Is that a clue that you may actually be?"

"Not all of them, I've never heard Meilikki talk like that...or any others down here really except in Lostagrace...and that's a cesspool of horrid behavior anyway." Though a giggle and a little pleased noise as he agreed in the no dead things and no blood on the floor clause. He was always wonderful like that though wasn't he? Indeed. "I have vast amounts of free time lying around nauseous in a bed, have to do something with it." A little pat on his hand with another soft melodic giggle. "Glad you like it. Like yours, but not quite. That is of course if we have a boy..." Piper sighed lightly angling her eyes up to his as he had angled his down. "Maybe. Or I'm just trying to be positive." Though she did know that something was off.

Arthur to say at least was making some progress, in the past ten minutes the best he could do was give a nice small flesh wound on the arm of the half elf, at least he was getting somewhere with this one. Need to...focus...on training...can't blackout...God do I feel like s**t... Arthur was getting close to the point where the darkness could be his savior at this point, but he didn't want to give in, if he did then everyone would think he was weak and they would never let this go at all. Heavy breaths could be heard coming from his mouth as he stared at the halfling with murderous intent, he needed to do something fast in order to get this one down and out. So he took charge again, his feet making light noises in the dirt as he ran towards his opponent with his blade extend outwards to the side. When he got close enough he jumped into the air and brought his blade back over his head and when he came down to earth he brought his katana down with as much force he could give; the half-elf was expecting this so he calmly stepped backwards as Arthur's katana hit the ground with a loud thud, sand and dust flying up into the air which made the visual of both of them bad for a split second. Seeing this as a good chance Arthur quickly rolled forward so he was right in front of the half elf, and before his opponent could do anything Arthur quickly swung his katana upwards with the reverse side of his blade being used in the slash so it could allow him to stun his opponent, and maybe break a rib, instead of cutting him. His suprise attack was a success as the nosie of a rib cracking could be heard once Arthur's katana made hard contact with the halfling's side, and the force behind it made Arthur's opponent stagger backwards a little as he held his side with a light glare in his eyes as Arthur slowly stood up with a light smile. "Want more?" he asked lightly as he got ready to attack again, it seemed the odds grew in his favour a bit.

Her full token of reverie time was about used up though she was completely unaware of everything. She was just sort of existing at this moment in time until her mind reached down into the darkness and yanked her up. Her eyes flew open and immediately her body reacted to the unfamiliar feeling. Adrenaline began pumping through her body and her breathing picked up while her fists clenched in defense of the warnings and alerts screaming through her system. She couldn't remember what she'd reveried and that had never happened before. It was like she was just missing that whole chunk of time. Sitting up rather quickly she braced a hand to her head at the dull pounding there and glanced around. Recognition? Yes. Good. It was her room, her bed, her belongings she was surrounded by and there was a figure at her desk. It didn't take her but a moment longer when realization snapped though her mind knew long before she connected it as softly and rather hesitantly she'd called out to him. "Sevilin..." Her fists held tightly to the blankets she'd been sleeping beneath and a cursory check revealed all as it should be but why couldn't she remember? Where had her reverie gone? What had she done during all that time? Why was her head throbbing? And why did she almost feel drained, as though she'd just fought a really long fight and now was trying to recover?

"Hello Gil." The manipulative voice spoke softly to the patroling sentry, who like so many others in his position, promptly had a heart attack. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna kil Donny's little boy." The drow cooed, a tone that promised nothing but gain for the drow. A voice, that the halfling found somewhat believable.
"Hello Captain of the Salmander's Whip." The paladin replied. "I saw a few of the children you are fostering into adulthood. They are quite happy, especially when the Black Cook comes to visit."
"Shhh!" The drow replied to that obvious attack on his evil, "I don't want that to spread. People might think less of me and my kin. Wouldn't want the locals to think drow were child-rearing high elves."
"Why do you call all non-drow elves high elves?"
"Well, that is really simple. When an elf that is Sylcan is called a high elf, they feel like they are being insulted. So to, does the high elf."
"What's a Sylcan elf?"
"The ones that love trees and like to dance around camp fires."
"You mean 'sylvan'."
"Right, like I ever actually cared what their non-drow name was."
"Huh?"
"Drow is drow for people. The word for non-drow is synonomous with s**t."
"Oh." The halfling paused, "Does that make me s**t?"
"You know, you are holy s**t."
"That isn't a very nice thing to say."
"Well Gil, I can't help that several million generations of drow have warped our perspective of the universe into believing that the non-drow are a dasterdly bunch, and need to be whipped out or they will come into our homes, rape our men, and eat our babies."
"Somehow, I think I actually knew that."

He of course was getting up from the desk at her first signs of leaving that trance like world. At her calling his name he merely nodded to her as he came to sit on the edge of her bed. Sevilin's hands reached and clasped to her wrists, pressuring just enough to get her to unclench them. "Relax, you're fine...probably a little confused. I blocked out your mind's eye to your reveries so you wouldn't have a reliving experience with them. So you could get your mind's rest with no worry about what wants to haunt you. Just take some deep breaths and focus on the here and now, not what has been."

She stared at him with large liquid eyes before she blinked and the confused expression left her face. She focused on what he was saying and her hands reacted to the stimulus and unclenched, laying gently curved on the covers instead. Her hand raised to her head and she ran her fingers through her hair lightly, waking fully. He'd blocked out her reverie. She'd been scared to death to relive what her mind was trying to force her to remember and he'd blocked it for her. "...thanks..." A sigh rippled through her and she propped her pillows and leaned back against them. "How long have you been in here?"
