Wolffy000 Lady Pyre Mario Bros. Dude, you know the X-Men movie's gonna suck. Just rent it when it comes out on DVD. I can hope. That and I'm short on cash to get Mario Bros, so I'd need to find some quick money. There shouldbe some used ones in soon. Crazy people who buy a game the day it comes out, play it in one night, and return it.

I mean, just about everyone I know has a DS, but I hardly ever see any used DS games. I can think of seeing them maybe 3 times, and they usually weren't that good of games.

I saw a used copy of Metal Gear 3: Subsistence at our Gamestop here. Why... would you return that game? Ever? Maybe they were thinking it was Elmo's Letter Adventure or something and ended up dissapointed. I also got my copy of Silent Hill 2 used. I WOULD ask who would return SH2, but... I was stupid and traded in the first Silent Hill years ago, and I only just recently managed to find a new copy of it (also used, but hey, it works). Also, isn't it odd how we always use the word "copy" to refer to stuff like this? I used to find it odd, but then I got used to it. Until I made this post and used the word far more than I wanted to.

It's a copy of a master print, so I suppose it works in that sense. I mean, any game is going to be the same data as any other copy of it (With the exception of different versions).
I mean, it's the same for DVDs and movies and all that jazz too. So it makes sense.

I actually saw a used copy of Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and our game store. That is one of the best and rarest RPG's on the planet. WHY THE ******** WOULD YOU TRADE IT IN? Almost nobody who owns a copy is willing to part with it. I knicked the BOX of mine and I nearly cried. But here was this used copy that had had the complete s**t beat out of it sitting in the game store. And despite the completely crappy condition it was in, it was STILL selling for what I bough mine for BRAND NEW and I bet someone bought it because I haven't seen it since.
And I can't find my vampire tooth caps. I found one pair, but they aren't molded to fit my teeth and I don't have time to do that before the movie. I'm going to be very sad if some protestor hassles me and I can't flash them some fang. sad *curses her orthodontist for shaving down the one perfect fang she naturally had*

Neither of us remembered it was my copy until her mom was going through it again, and I had found my cloth map and we sort of pieced everything together. I need to get that back at some point, but at least I know where it is.

God, I lusted after Complete when it first came out, but they kept pushing the release date back and I spent my money on... uh... Xenogears, I believe (bad move, man). Then, just like you, I saw a full price used copy at the game store one day. I HAD the money, that's what burns me up. But I decided to wait and see what else there was. So I come back the next day and it's gone. Now all I've got is Lunar Story or whatever for the GBA. It's ok, but eh. It certainly doesn't come with a cloth map or a Ghaleon punching puppet, now does it?

Neoteny Now all I've got is Lunar Story or whatever for the GBA. It's ok, but eh. It certainly doesn't come with a cloth map or a Ghaleon punching puppet, now does it? The punching puppet only came with pre-orders, which I did. But did they give me my ******** puppet? NO! Boy did I tell them off. They had to go and get one from another store who had probably ALSO not given them to their pre-order customers and were selling them at $20 a pop. DOES THE BOX NOT SAY IN LARGE LETTERS "THIS PROPMOTIONAL ITEM IS NOT FOR RESALE"? I think it does - I'm staring right at it. And I want to kill/maim/murder/seriously injure whoever wrote the screenplay for the Da Vinci Code. Cinematography, actor selection, acting, music... Pretty much everything else that goes into a movie was perfect. But the most important part... ARGH! How the ******** do you take a story based on RESTORING the sacred feminine and COMPLETELY ******** NEUTER the lead female character? They made her into an idiot who couldn't figure out any of the clue's without Langdon's help. And a lot of the really clever escapes she engineered were left to the imagination as to who thought it up. I don't think they even once had her say, "I have a plan." And then that bullshit ending. She's the sole living heir? What the s**t? That's not even REMOTELY as compelling as her finding her brother and her grandmother after living since the age of FOUR thinking they were DEAD. And Sauniere isn't even her grandfather!? Other stupid things - Silas dying of gunshots wounds. Remy shooting at Sophie and Langdon at the temple. Silas dying over his guilt and grief, freezing, half naked in the park is more interesting than the old, hashed out "shoot 'em up." And the entire REASON Remy had to come into the church to BEGIN with was to make sure Silas DIDN'T kill anyone. Why would they turn around and have him try to murder Sophie and Langdon? Argh. The only parts I can say I liked at all were the scenes Ian Mckellen was in.
