Edward laughed "You really believe that? My sister isn't that strong, her ablilities are based off a very weak line in our family. She has the least amount of protection, I at three and strong than she is. And talking with God invokes his name which invokes his power which pulls it here." The way he said God it was like it didn't bother him at all to use it. "You need to find faith in something else, something more suiting. God can't help you now, neither can the Devil." He moved acrossed the counter and cleaned the glass before putting it away, he sat on the counter by the fridge "There is no real evil and good in this world Aria, evil is what you make of it, good is what you make of it. Am I evil because what amounts to half of my blood is vampire? Am I evil because I am only a quarter angel? Even though I have never harmed anyone, or caused ill will to anyone, am I evil?" His words held weight, that was definitely beyond his years, his time out with Voro had done him worlds of good "Is my Mother evil because she had no choice in this life? Is she evil because she has done terrible things in the past? Though she cares more now about keeping others safe than killing? Does just being a vampire or a demon or something that is not human make us evil Aria? Is that what your God teachs you? Such intolerance?" He scoffed softly "And hear I though God was supposed to be about loving everyon and equality. I guess thats just a bunch of hocus pocus then." He hopped down from the counters, hearing Jinx ask Lance, he looked back at Aria "Come with me to the living room and you'll see what such a small prayer has done to one of the weakest here." He walked out of the kitchen and over to his sister and Jinx. He stroked Cali's hair as she continued to try to breath properly.
Jinx looked at Edward "Edward." Edward just nodded and walked from the room. Jinx moved and picked Cali up into his arms moving over to the couch and laying her down. The scar on her neck actually seemed to be reversing back to a huge slash, blood slowly oozing from the sizes as it reopened. "I will fix it Cali, do not worry."
Cali just nodded, trying to keep her breathing at a pace where she could take shallow breaths and get air still, she didn't risk talking.

lance had been about to get aria from the kitchen when Edward had gotten her from the kitchen he gave her a look and then walked over to jinx "is there something i can do to help?" he sighed he hadn't know THIS would happen and he wasn't to sure of himself

Jinx glanced at Lance "Its just a bad reaction to Aria's invoking god's name. She's not as strong as the rest of us, not anymore, its easier for it to get to her."
Edward walked back in holding a bag and walking over to Jinx "Here you go." He looked up at Lance as he crawled onto the couch next to his sister "Its one of the wounds that killed her."
Jinx watched Cali "You know I will have to do it in stitches right Cali? This I can not heal." Cali just nodded again and closed her eyes as Jinx brought out things to stitch her neck back up.

lance nodded and said "that explains why my old scars are irritating me" he walked over to a chair and sat back down realizing he couldn't do anything

Edward glanced at Lance "The weaker of us get affected quicker." His hand absent mindedly ran through Cali's hair, trying to calm her since Mark was outside protecting the boarder of the mansion
Jinx slowly treaded a needle to stitch up Cali's neck, he sighed and glanced down at her "You know with your blood I can not give you pain killers, so I am sorry this is going to hurt as badly as it will." He closed his eyes and let out a breath before opening them again and slowly starting the first stitch
Cali's hands gripped at the couch, and bit her lip a soft whimper barely stopped, but she didn't move back as much as she obviously wanted to

"Because according to you he has forsaken me!" she shrieked after Edward and pounded her fist into the counter. "We are evil because we are condemned to Hell for merely being and for accepting that fate! I will not stop believing!" she cried and pulled at her hair. She followed Edward out of the kitchen and saw Cali lying on the couch with a slash across her neck. She caught the look Lance threw at her and her stomach clenched. "What happened to her?"

lance looked to aria "your prayers" he said with venom "affect us all some more than others" he looked to Cali "this is why you cannot do that aria....maybe now you will understand" he sighed "it seems as if warnings haven't helped so now you must see the consequences"

She flinched from his harsh tone and furrowed her brow. "I didn't do that because if G-" the name choked her. "When I even try to say His name it burns me but speaking to Him doesn't bother me and Im the weakest rat according to everyone here." She swallowed and backed away from the scene of Cali being stitched up on the couch. "Shes much more powerful than I am so I know I didn't do this. Something else must be the cause, so stop blaming it on me." Aria backed up to the wall until her back was against it. "Good Lord-"

The doppleganger turned to them with a visious gaze.
"She is right. His name is not the problem. His name has been thrown around here more frivalously than anything. This is something else."

Jinx just shook his head and continued to stictch up Cali's neck again "This only happens when someone speaks to him, or invokes him. Cali normally is not around when it is used and we do not pray to him like she does." He stopped mid-way accrossed the cut on Cali's neck and looked up at Aria "Cali is not as strong as you think, she can do much, but compaired to the rest of us here she is weak. A healer is a common thing in the vampire world, a lot of us here are fighters, we have more defenses." He sighed softly "Cali and Mark barely got into heaven on the count that their grandmother was half angel and the fact that they died young. Cali has never had huge favor with that man." He slowly went back to restitching Cali's neck up. "Anyway this is a wound she died from, unlike her Mother and siblings, Cali has no resistance to holy water so it goes right through her."

The doppleganger set his gaze upon a person entering the room and got highly suspicious. He held up a hand freezing her in her tracks. She was still allowed to speak but not move an inch.
"Who are you?"

lance seemed pretty angry he wanted to say something but decided against it figuring jinx had explained it best he sub-consciously cleared the sword in the scabbard he looked to jinx and asked "would that stuff cali used on me have an affect on all wounds caused by silver or just the ones she fixed?"

She looked at the doppleganger and frowned. She couldn't have done this because she was in no pain herself, if her saviors presence was near she'd surely feel the pain. She could sense the hostility in the room and almost left before a new girl entered the room. How did she get in here? she briefly wondered. She wrapped her arms around her torso and tried to fade into the wall and be as unnoticeable as possible.
