Shadowkite I've been in the guild since i was 13, I'm not 16 cause my birthday was yesterday. Wow... this is one of the few constants in my life. Happy birthday Kite! smile Yeah, I hear you. even now when the guild is sparce with hardly any members left, I still check up on it on a daily basis. So many memories in these online threads...to think, we were all heroes in a fantasy world I created once. Oh well, life goes on. But this guild will always stay up, even for my kids and maybe my grandkids to see. Even though it was all just a fantasy, it felt very real RPing with you guys. I'm glad you all have stayed loyal to the guild. 3nodding To me, you're all comrades for life. smile Lion: Nothing special over here. Just been working my butt off in Gamestop. I'm assistant manager of the most ghetto store in the district...so yeah...it's a bit of a handful. However, strangely enough, I'm actually enjoying working in this store. Mainly cause I get along with the staff and there isn't any drama...yet. ninja

I'm glad to hear things are going well for you Lonewolf. I'm nowhere near being assistant manager of nothing, but if I get lucky, I may get to work in the bakery soon. I already mentioned it to my manager, and I got one of the assistant managers onboard with the idea, and I made friends in the bakery and the service deli, so once we get more people to work up front and bag groceries, I just might get transfered to the bakery, so I'm crossing my fingers, I think I've done just about all I can at this point. But enough about me. I sincerely hope that your staff and you continue to get along. I hope so, you make a good leader, perhaps all those years being captain of the guild helped... maybe not. who knows? Either way, glad to hear you're happy. And Shadowkite is growing up on us. *sniffles* they grow up so fast! crying

Indeed. Hopefully no intense drama will happen; less cause for a heart attack. And that reminds me to get a job sometime before the community college guys get out... sweatdrop
Anyhoo, time flies when your having fun (or crappy days, either one goes). I can't believe its been...about 4 years roughly since I've been here. Heh..I feel old.
O and you know what? I met my 5th/6th grade teacher who is now a vice-principle at another elementary school in another part of town and she's married to my school's vice-principle, which is kinda freaky and akward as I haven't seen her in 5 years. sweatdrop
And another note: Happy bleated birthday Kite! biggrin

Yeah, I think being a guild captain for so long had indeed taken it's toll on me. Not only that, but one of my staff who is a good friend of mine now had even told me that I give off an inspirational aura, like he feels he could follow me anywhere and sees me as not only a friend but as a mentor. It felt a little strange, seeing as how no one had ever told me anything like that before. I've matured a lot since I first created this guild and I do really feel that I've grown into something more, yet it feels like I haven't quite found my place/purpose in life yet. One day I will though, so I'm not worrying about it too much.

(which is kinda funny how it's worded =P) Gaining insight on the possibilities of english literature and persuasion, yes it was worth it. Losing my sanity and possibly becoming a even weird person I am, not really. I can't watch a simple cartoon without asking myself 'Why is she wearing red that day?' or 'Ah! *insert rhetoric trope here*' >_>;

Hey Lone, sometimes we can be our own worst critique. Which reminds me, thanks for listening to me when I kept having those nightmares way back. Bet you don't remember though blaugh Anywho, I think I found another secret project to take one hehe.

Rhetoric tropes are devices of figurative language like hyperbole, irony, zeugma, euphemism, climax, parallism, etc. etc. There's alot of them to remember...which I haven't done yet and will need to know for the exam. sweatdrop
And yes Kite, I do still live in Jacksonville. Need something?

Wow. I just got a ps3 for free from my manager at the Gamestop I work at. He told me that it's a thank you present for all of the hard work I've been doing...and I'll admit I have been busting my a** these past few weeks. I just bought some ps3 games for it too: Devil May Cry 4 twisted , Ninja Gaiden Sigma ninja and Uncharted pirate . I also got the Metal Gear Solid bundle pack exclaim and the new Fatal Fury Battle Archives: Volume 2 scream . So yeah...I'm gonna be pretty busy... sweatdrop
