Juno was standing just inside the doorway, listening to Wren interact with River. He shook his head, smiling. Geez, that girl spills her story with a smile on her face like she doesn't mind that its happened. She doesn't know that i can hear her toss and turn, screaming in the night.

"..Ah...That doesn't sound to..good.." she muttered softly." If I lost eight years I would feel younger, but not young like you." She said to her and shook her head in disagreement."..Damn Human race are so pathedic." She muttered darkly and sighed pleased with Wren's feeling twards it, though she didn't believe them too much.

Trina dragged her gaze away from the glass and met River's. Again there was the sudden thoughtfulness in her dark eyes, direct and questioning. "I returned when I could...I was kept away...and then..." She stopped, as if wondering if River was really asking or just speaking aloud.

"..Then..." River questioned onyx eyes scanning the other girls dark ones with a smile. "..Speak up dear.." River pushed and folded her hands together as she watched her, before taking a sip of the glass with the un-makred liquidi n it, but it was clearly blood.

Trina returned the smile faintly, eyes still holding the same look. "Then I was tricked...which took me a bit to realize. Or rather, to act on it." She had noticed the liquid but did not recognize it, Trina had never seen blood and did not bleed herself. Picking up her glass again, Trina took a sip, eyes still watching River over the rim. When she set the glass down again, it was empty, and Trina looked much better. Still tired and weary, but more alert and vibrant. If one were to look, they might ne surprised to see the ice gone as well.

Her mind wandered as she listened to her talk and drank a bit more of the blood in the glass. She kept it here because that's what she fancied most."..People are foolish somtimes..I wish I could of helped you back some way." She recited calmly meaning the words, her stone eyes meeting the counter as she took in a deep breath, just thinking. Why did she not realize it before? everyone had such bad experiences, even worse then her's she thought.
"Those light beings, you know them as angels or most people do.." River began her eyes still vibrently shinning black as she looked back at Trina.

A smell reached his nose just then. "Holy Fatimah!" Juno ran into the kitchen and pulled the bread out of the oven. He breathed a sigh of relief. They weren't burnt, but they were a tad darker than he would have liked. He frowned slightly and dumped the bread slice back into the basket.

Chibi Duckling "While i agree that the human race is mostly a greedy bunch of saddistic...jerks... i havent given up hope yet. there are some redeeming people, like Juno for instance." Wren smiled. Juno grinned. He felt happy that Wren was still hopeful. He truly felt that her sentiment was genuine. He was also glad that he was counted in the good list of humans.

Wren grinned. "What...? I hope you don't consider me human. I had animal genes for eleven years of my life. I'm not human." She crossed her arms, grinning resolutely.

Trina was silent. Yes, she knew of these beings. Some were nice, others...not so much. The fact that River wished she could have offered assitance was interesting, but Trina was glad no one she knew had been around, expecially when Trina herself had been so close to reverting...but no...shouldn't think about that... She was watching River carefully, completely listening.

Juno began pulling vegetables out of the fridge, determined to make the perfect Plateau Salad. Where he came from, salads consisted of soft-leaved rapunzel lettuce, desert carrots, wild mountain mushrooms, sweet onions and leaves of the rugged mountain spinach. He started chopping and dicing, contentedly lost in the task at hand.

"Evil things like them try to kill me all the time, Trina..They are Evil..." She muttered coldly and smiled at wren.
The thoughts about them wandered her mind for a while as she sat there.
"..they where never too fond of me, though I wish they would leave me be, our war is far from over but all them against me?.." She scoffed growling with the tinge of annoyance showing."..It's just a tad..." She paused her gaze falling on Trina again."..Trina-san you are so quiet?.." River inquired softly with a curious look.
