"Though that all depends on if Tristen now wants to still do that considering the risks involved still." ".....I...don't know..." Tristen said. It still made him a bit uncomfortable. "Alright then." Sub said with a shrug, pocketing the ball. "So, what is it going to be, Tristen? Want to give it a try?" "Uh..." He continued to be indecisive on the matter. He honestly didn't know what to do. "Tristen, if you want to, fine, if not, no one is pressuring you to do so, and we can still try to do it how we were doing it. I may end up figuring out another way to doing it, possibly." I said to him. "That said, it could very well end up a long while before I am able to." I said. "Well..." He rubbed the back of his head. No pressure, sure, but still...

Tails could smell a lot of things. He could also smell fear (or so he boasted, and usually after a catch). Today it did not come from a Rattata but from the training room. The boy stalked to the door and peered inside as he often did. No Pokemon. Only Tristen, with Blizz and Sub. Poor Tristen.
"Whatcha doing?" he asked them.

Trigram Attack Tails could smell a lot of things. He could also smell fear (or so he boasted, and usually after a catch). Today it did not come from a Rattata but from the training room. The boy stalked to the door and peered inside as he often did. No Pokemon. Only Tristen, with Blizz and Sub. Poor Tristen. "Whatcha doing?" he asked them. "Training. Or at least trying to. Sub gave Tristen an option to go with to help him, but it scares him a little." I said. "Well, you would too if it meant killing you if you mess up badly." Tristen said.

"Hey, it's fox boy." Sub said, waving at the young hybrid. "Yeah, just trying to help out, but Tristen is being a Torchic." He said, trying to pressure the other hybrid.

He tried not to dwell on them. Waving back to Sub he asked, "So how are you helping?" "Gave him a piece of the Zapdos Heart that powers this building, thought it would work as a good medium for him to concentrate his electrical moves on, also helps train his body to control electricity better. The only downside is if he loses control of it he could absorb all the electricity stored in the shard and overload himself, losing control, or worse, it absorbs all of his own and he dies, he would faint first though so it's unlikely he'd die with others around...theoretically." He shrugged.

He trotted closer, clearly eager. "Can I see?" "Huh!?" Tristen was a bit shocked now. Even Tails was all for this idea. Sometimes he wondered how the fox kid could go about things rather recklessly. "Tristen, apparently they're waiting on you. And besides, its not like you got to use this thing forever anyhow. Just long enough for you to get control." I said. "Alright..." Tristen felt a little defeated now. He knew, in a round-about way, got pressured into it.

"Score!" Sub shouted as Tristen agreed, then putting his open hand up to Tails, waiting for him to high five him as his plan was a success.

What in Darkrai's name have you taught this kid, Blizz?" Sub said as he looked over at Blizz, then back at Tails. "I'm going to kidnap you for a week one of these days and teach you how the world really works, none of that nobility, fairness, and honor crap, or whatever iced piss taught you."

I on the other hand had to hold back a laugh. I probably need to expand on social skills...though incidentally, I'm one to talk anyhow. I probably be a poor teacher in such a thing. Tristen was a bit hesitatnt. "Tristen, think fast." I said, tossing the piece toward Tristen. Tristen nearly jumped, seeing the piece come at him. He fumbled with it in his two hands as if a potato fresh from the oven then finally took hold of it. But then what Sub was talking about started to happen. His own body started to absorb the electricity in a frantic pace, more than what he was used to taking in on a normal basis, and he ended up having to drop the stone out of the shock of it all. "What...was that..." Tristen said, seemingly out of breath now. "I think he liked it..." I said.
