A pained expression entered Aled's eyes.
"That was not my intention..." he whispered, releasing his hold on the woman. "Gomen nasai... I simply wanted to show you how much I care for you, Kaguyo-chan... That you are deeply, deeply loved."

Kaguyo shook her head, still lingering close to him. "If... If you and I, if anything is to work... You need to control your temper, first and foremost." she whispered. "I need to know that vengeance isn't on your agenda, that you're not getting it through me. I'm not a tool to be used...."
Kazuhiko nodded. "You'll come with me right??" he whispered softly, finishing healing the scientist. "Right?"

Kaguyo nodded, leaning her head against his fingertips.
"Good... although I want nothing to do with the sonoffabitch... I just want peace." she sighed deeply. "I'm so sick of all this."
Kazuhiko smiled, snuggling him carefully. "Good..." he whispered softly. "I'm glad... I like you a lot Wata-san. Da says you're a very good person..."

"As am I." Aled whispered. "I had thought, when you saved me from the spirits within my mind... that we could finally have some sort of peace."
He gently cupped the side of Kaguyo's face with one hand.
"I fear I was mistaken."

Kaguyo smiled warily. "Peace has never been a follower of mine..." she sighed softly. "I ruin whatever I touch it feels like."
Kazuhiko nodded. "You're a good person." he reiterated. "Ojiisan doesn't hate you for killing him. He understands. You're loyal. You're a good friend... You couldn't hurt anyone willingly. You're a good person. I like that." he smiled calmly, snuggling him.

"You never ruined me." Aled returned with a sad smile. "You saved me, Kaguyo... saved me when I thought all hope was lost."
He gently pulled the woman close, kissing Kaguyo tenderly.
"You were the only one who never gave up on me..."

Watari smiled slightly, feeling quite loved by the boy. "Harming others is... it is something I loathe to do. And I hope never to have to do again."

Kaguyo returned the kiss gently, gently holding his cheeks. "You gave me no reason to abandon you..."
Kazuhiko giggled. "Good." he nuzzled him. "Because, it's too harsh for your soul. The people love you a lot. They need to see you more often. It'll get you more funding." he giggled again.

She was watching him intently. "You're not like this often.."

Kaguyo nodded softly, blushing. "That's true..."
She was avoiding his gaze, becoming keenly aware of their chemistry as well. She wasn't having an easy time brewing over her decisions.
"Perhaps you should show me."

Kazuhiko nodded. "Anything. If you can help me, even a little bit---if we can't make that soil, we should figure out a way to grow food in the winter---I'll see if I can't help you in return."
Kaguyo would have gasped, but Aled kissed her before she could.
Every time he kissed her, she could hardly think... Her heart went beating at a hundred miles a minute, the room was too hot...
She didn't resist him in the slightest, just as weak-kneed as before.

This time however, Aled did what he had originally intended to do.
Carefully, with Kaguyo in his arms, he laid her upon a rather warm and comfortable rug before the fireplace.
Continuing to kiss the woman, Aled moved to hover just over her, one hand behind her back, the other tangled in her hair.
