Cassie looked at Wally and Joanne confused... she guessed that was a 'No' on the date. Cassie then walked outside with Wally.
" Soo... ?"
Cassie bit down on her tongue waiting for his answer..'I'm busy','I can't because of Chris'... ' Oh yeah when I told you I was falling for you I was just joking'. That would be harsh.

"Hey girl, we think Achilles is lost wanna find him?"
30 seconds later Karen responds with a text:
"Found him! He's so cute!! I'll tell him to meet you all at Blackhawks."

Outside, the cold was crisp in the air. It had finally stopped snowing and the lights that kept the paths of Hero High lit at night reflected up on the snow in a calm, slightly eerie scene.
It was quiet; a huge contrast from inside of Blackhawk's.
"This is nice." Wally broke the silence, rubbing the back of his head. "The snow, I mean. We've finally got enough on the ground for it to really look like winter out here."
He nudged the couple inches of snow on the sidewalk, leaving a foot-print on the otherwise pristine layer.
"Heh, uh, remember the last time we were out alone in the snow...together? Talking, I mean. And I said...I mean...and we..." Oh, man. Instant awkward. Just add snow. Wally took a breath and changed tacks. "It would be great if you wanted to go out somewhere with me. I mean, just you and me, and we could, like, sort of...call it a date."
Wally kicked at the snow with his sneaker.
"If you're cool with that."

" Of course I remember the last time we were in the snow like this... it was just a few days ago. I haven't stopped thinking about it....I...I want to go on a date with you Wally. I wouldn't have asked it to be just the two of us otherwise."
Cassie hugged Wally, he was warm, and she couldn't help but feel like she never wanted to let go.
" I don't want to go rushing into things... but I do want to be with you. For that to happen we have to start somewhere right?"

"Yeah. You're right. We do have to start somewhere. So, how about this Saturday? I'll pick up up at eight and...well...we'll think of something. Okay?"
He hugged her back, and then happened to glance at the window of Blackhawks. The entire football team had their faces pressed against the glass. He stuck his tongue out at them, and he heard a roar of hoots and hollers from inside in response.

" That sounds great..."
Cassie took out a business card.
" Here's the lodge that I'm staying at in Aspen..."
Cassie glanced over at the hollering football team. Oh well, might as well really give them something to talk about. She kissed Wally briefly on the lips.
" I look forward to it."
Looks at the faces of the football players
"Now I have a feeling that if we don't head in we'll never hear the end of it."
Cassie then let go of Wally and walked back in.

As Wally and Cassie stepped back inside, they were passed by that hulking figure that had become so familiar and endeared to them. It wasn't that Achilles was ignoring them, but they knew all about him and food, and the smells from the kitchen at Blackhawks were the absolute best!
Mouth practically watering, Achilles made a beeline, not toward the counter, but right straight back into the kitchen through the swinging doors...
"Out!"
Heads turned and some of the football team erupted in laughter as small and feisty Zinda was pulling "Killer" by the ear back out into the lobby.
Zinda barked, "This is the second time I've caught you in my kitchen and it is going to stop!"
She released him and as Achilles rubbed at his tender ear, she called out with a finger pointed at him, "Does this belong to anyone!?"

Karen Starr rushed over to Achilles's arm, giving it a quick hug.
"C'mon handsome, dinner's one me."
Turning to Zinda she hands her a $50.
"Two belly Buster's with fries please, and keep the change for the mess."
She then walks over to the table, smiling at Achilles.
"Arn't you so happy to see me up and well again, That Green K poisoning sure took a lot out of me. But it's ok you don't have to say anything I missed you too!"

Cassie blinks looking over at Achilles and Karen. She smiles.
" Well I guess I should head back out to the lodge... Just be sure to give Achilles a pleasant flight home Karen"
Cassie paid for her food and gave Wally a kiss on the cheek.
" And I'll see you on Saturday."
With that Cassie walked out. The air was cold and crisp. She sighed.. a date with Wally. She could already feel her heart pounding so hard she thought whe would explode.

"Sister, I....!"
Achilles shouted in protest at being left virtually "alone" with this amorous female admirer, almost as if she enjoyed seeing her own brother in such a precarious position.
It was then he blinked and realized... his sister just kissed Wally...
He frowned and his eyes found his best little buddy and he raised his brow questioningly. Was he the only one out of the loop?

Achilles blinked, confused at the terminology.
"Wally and my sister ... I had thought she was with Christopher."
He scratched the back of his head as Julian passed by with a plate in hand.
Julian said, "Get with it Killer! Cassie dropped Powell like dead weight!"

*Karan slightly squeezes Achille's hand, nodding to him*
"I'll be sure to fly you back to Aspen, But first there is something I have to do ok? I'll be back in an hour."
*She sneaks a kiss form him on the cheek and then she blasted off to Powell's room*
