SILVER, today's lesson is:
KAKATO-GERI.
Your heel must reach a height that you never imagined of. Once you master the Axe Kick, it will serve you well in battle.
That is all.

The dogs look well cared for.
They get all the attention that they want, and probably more than they would like.
Dee: So far that Physicians' Formula mineral based foundation and powder is working. I talked to some of the ladies at work, and one girl uses only Clinique products, and is giving me some to try. But I kept your link saved in case these end up not working. Thanks.

Nope, haven't seen it but heard about it in reviews.
I want to see The Expendables though. Every action hero from the past decade is in it. Sweet mother of everything I know as epic hero and bad-assedness.
G'night folks. Pleasure chatting with y'all.

Um, weren't the plagues cast upon the Egyptians, not by them? I think I'm missing something.

Matanago >Harbinger of Pestilence
>EgyptianUm, weren't the plagues cast upon the Egyptians, not by them? I think I'm missing something. Yes, but in a sense they did bring it upon themselves? Maybe. I'm trying to wrap my head around their logic.

Tei Kae Yes, but in a sense they did bring it upon themselves? Maybe. I'm trying to wrap my head around their logic. I think their logic went as far as "Hey, the biblical plagues were kind of cool. But we need some sort of theme to go with it . . . well, the Egyptians had something to do with it, right? Yeah, let's do that."

Kat> If you're talking biblical, one might argue that they were responsible for God sending them that ten-course shitstorm, but they certainly didn't cause its happening. Maybe this item/person is so infected by the plagues that it carries them wherever it goes. That's what I got out of it. Never watched the Mummy movies, so I don't know the details about their magic scarab swarms.
Ahaha, Nem.

Besides, how are you going to convey the clear impression of Moses or the ancient Jewish people into items without using mildly stereotyped or racist imagery?
EDIT: That . . . came out sounding a little stupid. What I meant to say is, ancient Egyptian imagery is something anybody can recognize. On the other hand, I, for one, have difficulty conjuring imagery that is clearly indicative of Old Testament Jews.
