As to counter Willow's hatred for fighting pokemon and my two cents about the fighting gym. Since Nina first became gym leader I have ALWAYS been against it. I have alway's liked the fighting dojo next door better. When I was first playing red and blue that made me very mad that just because they had a type advantige they got to be gym leader. I have never really liked Psychic pokemon though, they always struck me as cheater's, like they take the easy way out and they dont work for anything. Maybe that's why I like Fighting pokemon, because they just seem to work for there power.
Anyway, there is also another problem that has been brought up. If it does turn out to be a yes, then Nina has no way in order to see Ho-oh. When I had Dante first visit Ho-oh, I was the first damn it!, I made it clear that Dante could not see Ho-oh until he had accidentally picked up the Rainbow Feather. Nina would have to get a Rainbow Feather, and probably a Sacred Ash, AND like Andy said she has done so many things that Ho-oh would be against as a phoenix that the chances of him actually doing that are slim to none.
Once agian that is my two cents. Take it or leave it.

Just because someone harbors a hatred for a certain type of Pokemon doesn't give him or her the right to veto that type being the prominent one in a gym. That being said, I honestly don't care which gym is the 'official' gym in Saffron, so long as it's not a PC who is in charge. Frankly, unless one has worked their way through the ranks of every gym in a region, and has gone through the proper training and taken tests or whatever to prove their worth, then no character should ever be elevated to Gym Leader status.
All right. I've also been doing some thinking. Since it seems like involving Ho-oh in Sabrina's resurrection is doing nothing but sparking aggravation among members, I opt for a better, although more cliché way to bring about the Psychic's return. Perhaps by some stretch of the imagination, Sabrina's death was somehow faked? Maybe Sabrina felt it would be easier to keep an eye on the goings-on of the world if everybody thought she was dead. If anyone else has any suggestions or ideas on how to make this less controversial for everyone, please, throw your two cents into the hat.
Now if you'll excuse me, I am going to get something to eat before I collapse.

Melph, I'm sorry to say it, but you really can't decide on whether or not Ho-oh is going to see Nina or not. Take into account that nobody controls the Legendary Pokemon. Also realize that Nina would not need a Sacred Ash, as that is the item that Ho-oh drops upon battling or capturing him. Seeing that we will not have Nina capture Ho-oh, the only thing Sacred Ash will come into play with is the revival of Sabrina, which I've stated to Willow that I am all for.
Now, taking Andy's suggestion into consideration, it would be much more plausible, albiet much more difficult to explain. But, Willow is a good RPer and I trust that he'd be able to develop a very good explanation as to how the death could've been faked. She is a psychic, and some psychics have the power to ascend from this world for a time (At least they do in Hunter: The Reckoning).
Concerning Melph's remark about "When I had Dante first visit Ho-oh, I was the first damn it!, I made it clear that Dante could not see Ho-oh until he had accidentally picked up the Rainbow Feather". Clearly, a contradiction in the statement. So what if Dante was the first? Kilik was the first to kill someone, wasn't he? And now we have other characters killing as well. Granted, it was mostly just Nina and the occasional Rocket, but that's beside the point. The point I'm making is that just because you were the first doesn't mean you get to 'monopolize the market', so to speak.
So, I think that as long as Willow has a perfectly plausible explaination, it really doesn't matter how Sabrina is brought back, whether it be with Ho-oh or Andy's suggestion!
Edit: Fine. D:

Max, could you please refrain from using those things when we're trying to have a serious conversation? I mean really. neutral
But you are right; nobody has the right to monopolize being the 'first' at something. And furthermore, Melph has asked persmission quite some time ago if she could be the one who controls the Legendary Pokemon, since NO ONE ELSE has stressed any interest in them whatsoever in the nearly two years we've been playing this RP. And, might I add, that permission was granted.
And yes, something along the lines of Sabrina faking her death or having it faked for her and being captured or something like that would be easier to explain.
Edit: Thank you, Max. ILU. <3

I'm confused as to why, if after so much time has passed, why anyone would be expressing interest in the legendary Pokemon now of all times-- I mean, sure, there's the Sabrina thing for right now, but aside from that, there's been no interest in the legendaries because there hasn't needed to be! We've all gotten along fine without them!
Of course, that's most likely my own naive and idiotic opinion, after all.

Well, now that the problem of 'Does Melph Have Permission?' has been cleared up, that brings us to our next point.
What exactly will the other RPers be doing with Legendary Pokemon? The only one that would hold much water is Ho-oh, considering the whole Sacred Ash and Revival thing. Maybe Celebi, if someone wanted to go back and change something really horrible they did. Even that's stretching it.
And even if we did decide on doing something with them, why bother? If nobody expressed intrest in the Legendary Pokemon before, why would they do it now? Or in the future?

First off thank you Anya in defending my opinion while I was away. Much love to you.
Yes, you guy's are right that just because I was first to do something does not mean that I am the only one who can do it. However, you and Willow are both guilty of getting mad at people for that very reason. Also I am a bit miffed that while yes I do sound like I might be 'monopolizing the market.' as you said. I have also ALWAY'S been the only one to express ANY interest in the Legendary Pokemon from day one.
I mean how would you like it if someone, lets say me because most people dont like me here. How would you like it if I suddenly did something like, have Dante find out that he is Giovanni's son and go demand a position in Team Rocket. It is kinda like that. Something you have worked and are working hard on having your charactor do and some one else just coming in and basically ruining or just deciding on impulse that they wanted to be part of your big story line.

Melph, stop acting like such a martyr. Seriously. And, for the record, your saying that about Dante and Giovanni is entirely irrelivant to the current conversation. It really isn't like that, mmkay?

Ok, here is my hopefully unbiased opinion on things.
I want Sabrina back for mostly the reason as she is an important character in the Pokemon story canon, and should not be easily pushed aside in something like this. As for the reasonings behind the entire Gym Leader fiasco, I would like for some of you to stop implying that Willow killed her off to become the head of the Saffron Gym. I explained my thoughts to Max and Willow in a chat.
"I think you became a Leader after realizing that you kinda wrote yourself into a corner."
I view Sabrina's death as a temporary lapse in judgment. Albeit a little extreme, we've all had traits and little side stories that we wish we hadn't written or had a part of our character. Take Mike for example, I'm very displeased at the lack of consistency in his character early on. Looking back I wish I could have done some things different. I think that Willow is in the same position as I am, and that this whole deal was just a plot with a sort of 'think as you go' mentality that went wrong.
Please be civil and refrain from personal attacks, however subtlety implied they are. It gets annoying.
