Nooooo, I'm not too fond of green. Blue is better xd
I mean, red hair is socially accepted, so why not blue (or green or any other "not normal" color) confused

Well, people aren't born with bright red hair either, yet that seems to be accepted by the majority of people. 3nodding I mean it's one thing that people would rather not hire people with facial piercings, but hair is... well only hair.

xd I hardly think they care about color, since all the hair has to be cut off anyway (not on women though)

No? Even if you're a guy you can send in an application and ask for permission so that you won't have to cut of all your hair/beard (if you have very long hair). I think they have to wear a hair net though.

psh
it'd be easier if they just made everyone keep their hair at certain length letting some people wear hair nets or get special permission just seems silly

Yeah, I guess. But then they should make military service voluntary first. The only people who have to cut their hair no matter what are these guys: the royal palace guards. Well even here the girls are let of easy and don't have to cut their hair, although not many women make it in there because you have to be somewhat muscular and large/tall.

1 year of military service for guys, from age 18 -> They can postpone it if they're in the middle of an education. And not everyone gets called in (because they don't have room for everyone)
If you're a girl and haven't had a baby by the time you're 25 or so, you might even get called in! It's so weird, it's like "Well it's your duty as a woman to give birth, and if you haven't by the time you're 25 you're not considered a woman anymore". It rarely happens though that woman gets called in (not because everybody has a baby, but because well... it just almost never happen)

rofl
I'm 22. and I hardly doubt I will. and no, I'm not thinking about having a baby.
xp
Guys who gets called in gets called in for various tests and an interview first before the military decides whether or not to accept them. If you're openly gay or have some kind of physical or mental condition you're not accepted.
