Yoshi takes a break from last training. When he came back he brought food for one person. “Hey Lee, are you hungry?”
“I am very hungry. I told you not to bring food unless it is for the whole class. Did you bring food for the entire class?” Lee looks in Yoshi’s backpack. “You don’t have anymore food.”
“Yes I do.” Yoshi does Whirlwind clone. The food multiplies so many times that there is enough food for the whole class twice. “Yes, they are all real. My technique makes whirlwinds turn into many of what I multiply it to. Let us start the new technique.”

“Yoshi, I am sorry to say that this will be the last technique that I will be able to teach you. The other techniques all need you to be able to unlock your Chakra Gates. At least up to your sixth gate. If you can’t then the techniques won’t work. This last technique is very similar to the techniques that I can’t teach you. It is called the Frontal Lotus. This technique will work very well with Shadow Dance.” Lee looks around for a big rock. He points at a distance, and said. “Let us go over there.” They both take their time to get there. As they walk they talk about the technique.

“This technique is a very dangerous one. It can, and will cause kills at most impacts. I will explain what you will be doing, and then I will show you what it will be looking like. Then you will try it until you get it right. You will need no chakra for this lesson, and so that you won’t cheat, you will be…” Someone appears from behind the bushes. The person hit something in my body, making me not be able to use chakra. “There we go. Now let me explain the technique. First, you will do the Shadow Dance; you already know what that does. Next, you will need something to wrap around the person.”

Lee takes something out of his pocket. “Here. You can have this.” Lee hands Yoshi wraps for his hand. “This is what you will wrap around your opponent. Once you have wrapped this around your opponent, you will smash them on the ground. You will spin as fast as you can, then at the last second, you will release the person. They will have no other choice than smash into the ground.” They finally reach the huge rock that they were walking towards. Lee then tells Yoshi to do him a favor. “Yoshi, make a copy of this rock. You will be the one that will smash this rock. I will be the person that smashes the fakes.”

Yoshi stops for a second, and asks Lee a question. “Did you say clones? You told me to only make one.” Yoshi shook his head in a confused manner. Then he made five clones of the huge rock.
“Now I will show you how it is supposed to look. I only need help with one thing. I need you to throw this up into the air with me.” As Lee was using his strength, Yoshi did Shadow Sewing. Yoshi lifted it up to a good height. “Now throw it, but not too high.” Lee slowly loosened his wraps. Yoshi threw the rock at a slanted angle. Lee jumped up, and put his chest to the rock. He wrapped his bandages around the rock, and started to spin at a very high speed.

The energetic genin popped his head into the office of the chief medical nin. “Umm… Sakura-sensei, do you have some time to teach an out of towner some of your skills.” Sakura slammed down her stack of records. “Of course, this paper work has really gotten me down as of late. So what’s your name?” “Everyone just calls me Akuma.” Sakura stood leading him out to the courtyard.
1/2
“Well that is indeed a strange name. Well we might as well start off quickly before anyone notices my absence.” Akuma was quickly under a barrage of Kunai flying at him from all angles, though Sakura was a medic nin her battle prowess were by no means sub par. Akuma was barely able to keep up with a medical needle of his own in each hand he blocked or deflected the majority of the kunai.

Cherry Blossom Snow Storm complete
The kunai lay scattered around him and Akuma stood there puffing from the exertion. Sakura gave a small giggle. "You might want to move away from your current location." Akuma looked around for the first time at the kunai scattered around him. Each and every kunai that lay scattered across the courtyard had either a small pouch or a explosive tag attached. Akuma leaped high into the air as Sakura launched a final kunai this one with an ignited tag.
1/4
The explosion was huge and nearly knocked Akuma from his perch on the Hospital's outer wall. "Now that was the cherry blossom snow storm. Are you ready for something even more interesting." She gave Akuma a wink before the previously sakura blossom filled world around him evaporated and was replaced by a hellish landscape. Suddenly Sakura's voice could be heard to becoming from no direction in particular.
2/4
"So Akuma, do you understand what's happening to you right now?" Akuma shook his head. "Nope, but I'm in some odd place that doesn't seem at all like Konoha." her laughter echoed throughout the plane. "Well since you can't seem to figure it out, I'll tell you. At the moment your not a single step from where you were before. Your currently under the influence of a genjutsu that is making you believe that you're somewhere else. Now if your going to try and escaped your going to have to follow my instructions.
3/4

Akuma nodded. "Ok Sakura-sensei, whatever you say," Akuma followed her instructions to the letter. "So let's see if I can't get this to work. Kai," the illusion wavered, but didn't fade. "Ok once more with gutso, Kai" this time the Illusion faded from view and Akuma found that he was still sitting crouched on the outer wall of the compound. "Well there you go kid, you've learned what I shall teach you for today. I've got to get back to work now so you'll have to find a new teacher."

Nemu woke up, sitting up slowly in bed. She felt so comfy she nearly fell back asleep, but only made it half-way. Still sitting, she dozed off once more, waking up again after half an hour. When she woke up the second time, she actually awoke fully, and got up. She washed her face and brushed her teeth, and combed her hair and then got dressed. She was ready for a long day of training, but something felt odd. There was something she was forgetting, wasn't there?
She kept trying to think of it as she stumbled downstairs and into the kitchen. She was thinking so much that she nearly fell asleep in her cereal, but managed to catch herself at the last minute. She needed to try to stay awake so she could remember whatever it was she'd forgotten. Maybe if she went to go for a walk or something? It could help her stay awake, at least it was worth a shot. She wouldn't be able to focus on training like this, anyways.
(Okay, any time you're ready.)

Hedoro

Hedoro had gone to sleep shortly after eating, then woke up when there was a knock at her door. It was checkout time, so she woke up, freshened up, and settled her bill. Stepping out of the hotel, she looked around, wondering what she should do next for her training. There were still so many techniques she wanted to learn, so many styles and ways of fighting she hadn't learned about. She'd never become stronger by being lazy like this! She needed to take action!
(1 of 20)

That was it, she'd ask every ninja she saw if they'd teach her. Today would be nothing but training. Unfortunately, the people she found had other ideas. Most of them thought it was too early to work so hard, or they were already busy. The few that would agree to teach her were only genin like her, they couldn't really teach her much of anything. So she had to keep searching, and began to wander through the village, hoping that she'd actually find someone, anyone, who could teach her something she actually wanted to learn.
(2 of 20)

She must have covered about a tenth of the village like this, and still had virtually no luck. It was really odd, yesterday she'd found powerful ninja one right after the other, and today, nothing. It was like they'd all received a note of something terribly important or something. Rather frustrating, maybe she'd have to settle for a genin after all. Since genin usually managed to learn at least one non-academy technique after they graduated, then surely one of them would have something she could use?

Nemu stepped outside of her home, and took a deep breath. She'd been so busy the past few days, she hadn't really taken the chance to really 'come home'. She started at a leisurely rate of speed, just barely moving. As she walked, or crawled, rather, she took note of all the things she loved about her village. The beautiful trees and flowers, the crisp and clean air, the majestic buildings and the fantastic monument to the Hokages. It was all part of the Village Hidden in the Leaves, Konohagakure. She loved this village, although she felt there was something bad about it that she couldn't quite recall. Maybe that had something to do with these last signs of construction still scattered about.
As she walked, she saw someone in the distance. She saw a lot of people, and had no idea why they stuck out. Their clothes were a little different than anyone else's, obviously they were a foreign ninja. But there was an entire community of foreign ninja at Hidden Leaf at any time, so that shouldn't be a surprise. But still, she wondered who they were.

Hedoro

Hedoro had been searching for some time, and began asking anyone with a ninja headband if they'd train her. Maybe she came across as too strong, because the general concensus was no. She didn't let herself give up, but she did get frustrated. Moving through the center of the village, she saw another glint of light on a ninja headband, and ran up to the owner of it. Maybe they'd teach her? But she had come across too aggressive before, so maybe try something a little more gentler?
(4 of 20)

Coming to a stop in front of the other ninja, she saw it was a kunoichi. She didn't look very impressive, must have just graduated like she had. She looked like she'd never even had a fight in her entire life. How someone like that could be a ninja was anyone's guess, but it takes all types. She greeted her before demanding training, introducing herself, and only then brought up the issue. She asked if, by chance, she knew any interesting jutsus that she wouldn't mind sharing.
(5 of 20)

Even as she asked, she had a bad feeling about this. This kunoichi looked nothing like a proper ninja, what sort of techniques could she possibly know? Fresh Linen no jutsu? That annoying Shrimp Peeler Tamao had used on her? Nothing that could be useful in a fight, she shouldn't have even bothered asking. But she already had, so she'd at least wait to hear her reply. If nothing else, she'd probably get a laugh out of it. Not that she'd actually laugh, she hadn't laughed, really ever.

A technique? That was out of the blue. She had to think, what techniques had she learned? There were a fair bit, either that she'd actually learned through practice, or ones that she'd heard enough about to be able to perform. But as for an interesting one, what would be the best one to say? Maybe that one that her squad leader had taught her? It had been a challenge to learn, and it did seem pretty powerful. Sure, she'd teach her that technique.
"Yeah, there's *yawn* one I could teach you. It's a bit of a hard one, it's called Symphony of Water. Sound *yawn* good?"
Nemu stifled a yawn after talking, maybe she was a little more tired than she thought. Hopefully she wouldn't fall asleep halfway through teaching this person. They seemed really energetic, and looked the part of a proper ninja a lot more than she did. If she could help them, then maybe she'd feel a little bit more like a real ninja herself?

Hedoro

Had she heard right? Did this odd little kunoichi really say the symphony of water? That was a high-level technique, it was even considered a kinjutsu, or forbidden technique. How in the world did she know a technique like that?! Unless, of course, her odd demeanor and appearance were just an act, to cover up a really strong ninja. That had to be it, otherwise it made no sense at all. She had a newfound respect for the kunoichi, her disguise was even more perfect than Hedoro's own!
(7 of 20)

She quickly agreed, hoping that the offer hadn't just been a joke. She'd read about that technique, it was really powerful, and dangerous too. And what was more, what the technique entailed seemed right up her alley, manipulating water and infusing it with chakra. That seemed awfully close to something she knew really well, herself. Out of all the techniques she'd read about, that one had probably seemed the strongest to her. If she could learn that, then these exams would be a breeze!
(8 of 20)

But she couldn't get ahead of herself, first she had to learn it. With a technique that difficult, the training would likely be just as bad as anything else she'd been through, or more likely even worse. But she'd persevere, she had to. Both to learn this much-desired technique, and to become stronger. This would be a huge step in her training, she would probably feel a lot stronger after learning it. Even if she didn't, she'd still know a new, powerful technique that lots of other Genin probably didn't.

So now she was a teacher. Nemu sighed, she hoped she didn't let this person down. She knew she wasn't a very good kunoichi, and the reaction they'd given when she mentioned the Symphony of Water only made her feel worse. What if she had forgotten the technique, what if she couldn't do it anymore? She hadn't used it since that night in Hidden Love, and that had only been with Komen's cooperation. Could she even do it by herself? She didn't know, but she'd find out.
"Okay. *yawn* The first thing we need to do is find a source of water. The technique can create it's *yawn* own water, but it's much easier when there's already water to use."
Nemu led the way to a nearby river. She was pretty sure this other ninja would follow her, since they wanted to learn the technique. They arrived only a moment later, and the next step in the lesson could begin.
"Okay. The first thing you have to do is saturate your chakra into the water, infuse it so your chakra is in the same space as a large amount of water. *yawn*"

“Lee-sensei! Lee-sensei!” Akuma dashed over to the upright teacher. As Akuma approached he would notice that his teacher wasn’t even awake, but it looked as if he was still training. The sleeping jounin teacher was still going at it, every few seconds his teacher would strike forward, putting another dent in training dummy next to the countless dents already there. The repetitive strikes rained one after another for what seemed like forever. It was as if knew that he was there too, for as soon as Akuma approached the sleeping jounin turned his focus to him.
1/3

Akuma was barely able to dodge as Lee threw a right hook at his face. Next came a round house kick which Akuma caught with both hands before spinning him a circle. “Wake up Lee-sensei!” Lee just back flipped trying to crush Akuma into the ground with his feet. Akuma blocked with both arms above his head launching his much heavier up into the air with some difficulty. Lee landed with seemingly no effort at all. There was no pause as Lee came at Akuma again this try to catch him with a sweeping kick, Akuma leaped up barely clearing the sliding kick.
2/3

This was crazy, Lee was like an unstoppable dynamo and he was asleep. Lee came at him again with a left hook, Akuma gripped Lee’s arm at the wrist spinning so they were back to back, Akuma was able to strike him with one of the medical needles in his sleeve, he drove it lightly into a spot on Lee’s neck. Ever so slowly Lee’s breath calmed as he drifted into a true sleep. Akuma had been lucky he had been able to strike his teacher at the stone point, causing him to fall into a deeper sleep then he was already in. “Phew, note to self, never bother Lee-sensei when he’s sleeping,”
3/3

Akuma would soon find himself training with a new teacher. Youji stood there with that same bored expression that usually played across his face, his toothpick idly moving from side to side. “So you see, now that I know the needle spit skill I wanted to work on its accuracy so I thought I’d come and see the best person with toothpicks in the village. So will you help me?” the jounin shrugged. “Sure kid why not? It’s not like I’m busy or anything.” the toothpick slid idly from side to sider as the older jounin lead the young genin off to a training field to practice the needle spit skill.
1/3

“Ok…ummm…. Let’s see. You got some thing that’ll work as a toothpick right?” Akuma nodded, removing one of the medical needles from the sleeves of his black cloak, he deftly twirled it between his fingers before placing it in his mouth. “Yep, now we match,” Youji looked non plussed. “Sure, well it’s pretty simple just aim and shoot, there isn’t a whole lot else to it. Give it a shot try hitting that leaf over there. Of course wouldn’t you know it the tree and leaf Youji indicated were about 50yds away from their current location. Akuma was intimidated, but he was prepared to try his hardest none the less.
2/3

Akuma focused his sights on the leaf; his mild medical training had given him a heightened sense of accuracy and when he shot the toothpick it only missed the tree by a few feet. “pretty good for a first shot, but your going to have to be able to hit that leaf from this distance to say you’ve mastered this skill.” Akuma removed another needle from his sleeve and this time he struck the trunk of the tree. “Once more, you’ve almost got it.” And Akuma did, on his next shot he was able to pierce the leaf right through the center. “And there yah go, your now skilled enough to use a toothpick in battle effectively.” Akuma gave his thanks and headed toward the docks

Hedoro

Hedoro followed the other ninja easily enough. She had to stop to yawn every so often, it was easy to keep up. She began to think maybe she'd been wrong twice, was this kunoichi really that strong? Yawning to appear sleepy was one thing, but so much yawning made the appearance nothing short of comical. If someone was that tired, why didn't they just go to sleep? But if she knew the symphony of water, it would be worth putting up with her odd habits.
(10 of 20)

They arrived at the river and Hedoro listened as the other ninja began to explain the technique. As she listened, she almost smiled, this would be too easy if that was the key to the technique. Infusing water with chakra so she could manipulate it? Technically, she'd been doing that all her life, it was something she didn't even have to think of. But she didn't dare appear too proficient at it right away, that could be suspicious. So instead, she made it appear that she was having trouble.
(11 of 20)

And in fact, it was a tiny bit harder than she thought. The water in the river was moving, flowing past and beyond her immediate range. She hadn't planned on that, looked like she'd have to tip her hand a little sooner than anticipated. She sent her chakra into the water and merged it. That was pretty much instinct, it was basically doing what kept her together, just to more water. It was like creating more of herself, more material so she could become bigger, taller or larger. That in itself was pretty useful, she'd have to remember that.
(12 of 20)

She had now managed to control a large mass of water in the river, keeping it stationary while the normal water continued to flow past it. She made it seem she was still having trouble with it, and after mimicking a struggle, she finally spoke up and said she had done it. If the next step was this easy, the technique would be done in no time, and she'd even have more time to go try to learn another technique. Assuming she could find anyone, of course.

PostPosted: Tue Apr 03, 2007 11:13 am

Nemu was a shocked when the person she'd been teaching said she'd done it. Already?! It had taken her well over an hour, with help, to even get to this part, and she'd done it in what, ten minutes? These new Academy students seemed to be a whole other level compared to her class. If she could already do this, then what sort of limits did she have? But she had to center herself, the lesson wasn't done yet.
"Okay, very good. The next step is to press out with your will, move your chakra, and the water with it. It may be *yawn* difficult, but raise it up. With enough practice, you can shape it into different forms, but for now, just try to make a sphere. *yawn* Then use your chakra to charge the water, and it will turn black. Then when it hits someone, it will paralyze them. We don't *yawn* have a volunteer, so instead maybe hit that tree over there."
This was the hard part of the lesson, the sheer amount of will and knowledge of space made it hard to move the water, without losing the connection between the water and the chakra. If she managed to do this, then she would have used the technique, and it would be her own, to use as she saw fit. But it was really difficult, it had taken everything she and Komen had just to do this part. Just working on her own, it would have to be even harder.

Hedoro

Hedoro listened carefully, sure there would be some difficult feat required to finish the technique. But there wasn't. Will the water to move, activate your chakra, and hit the target? That was so easy, that it seemed almost fishy. What was the difference between that and the Bruising Sky Leg technique she had learned. Admittedly, they were almost the same, to her, but maybe it was more difficult for normal people? Not that that would make her glad she was different.
(14 of 20)

Again, she didn't want to draw too much attention to herself, so she made the water bump and wiggle a bit before moving it up above the river's level, taking the form of a simple sphere. No need to get fancy, especially for something like this. So she made the sphere take a crude, unfinished look, more like an egg than anything, then paused before going into the next step. She made it seem like she was running low on chakra, which in fact she almost was. This was taking up a little more than she thought, she'd need to rest for a few minutes later.
(15 of 20)

She felt she'd waited enough, then made herself outwardly act like she was concentrating very hard. She willed the chakra to activate, and watched as the ovoid shape turned into an inky black mass. That seemed to be it, now she just had to hit the target. What had they said, the tree? But this was the village hidden in the leaves, what tree? It probably didn't matter, any tree should really work for this. Looking around, she made her choice. There was a middle-sized tree just across from the river, most likely it had been the one she'd been told to hit.
(16 of 20)

She moved the water mass forward smoothly, taking it slow so she didn't make a scene, and let it collide with the tree. A moment of impact, then the water sphere exploded, as it unleashed the chakra in one brief instant. If it had hit a person or animal, they would have been paralyzed, or possibly killed. Had the technique really been this easy, had she already learned the symphony of water? She had kind of been expecting something that would have taken her at least a day to learn, a kinjutsu so forbidden she had to track down a master living in hiding.

Nemu stared in shock once more, as the kunoichi performed the Symphony of Water almost perfectly. They'd only been working at it for about an hour, was she really only a Genin?! This technique had taken all night for her to learn, now some new face shows up and learns it in the time it takes for a leisurely lunch? It made Nemu feel all the more pathetic, maybe she'd just been abnormally slow, and the one she had just taught was the normal. She really was hopeless! But she didn't want to appear depressed in front of anyone, so she put a bit smile on her face as she congratulated her student.
"That was fantastic! You are really something, I bet you'll be famous one of these days! *yawn* Was that the only technique you wanted to learn? I could kind of use a nap."
She hoped that this was the end, at least for the moment. She was getting pretty tired, and she was feeling kind of down. Maybe she could head home, get a nap in, then return to her own training. Wait! She still hadn't remembered what she had been forgetting! Today was something important! But what was it?

Hedoro

Apparantly that had really been it, because her teacher had congratulated her, saying so. So this was the fabled kinjutsu, symphony of water? She had some ideas for this technique, she'd put it to good use. She thanked her teacher for teaching her, and then realized she'd never asked her name. But before she did that, they had already asked if there were any other techniques she wanted to learn. There were, but first she wanted to take a little break, rest up to replenish her chakra and get ready for more training.
(18 of 20)

So she said no, and introduced herself, this time saying her name. She waited to hear her teacher's name, then said goodbye, and wished her luck. Turning away, she set out to find someplace quiet and secluded, to rest for a little while. Just for a few minutes, half hour tops. She wasn't that run-down, just a little worn out. She might have to track Nemu down some other time when she had more energy, see if she knew any other techniques like this one, ones that could be added to her arsenal.
(19 of 20)

Finding a nice spot just a little ways up the river, Hedoro settled down against a tree trunk and rested, thinking back to all the techniques she'd learned in the last few days. She felt she was making good progress, she just might be strong enough to make a good showing in the exams when they began. Now that she thought of it, she hadn't signed up. Better do that soon, before she missed the deadline. It would be a shame to only miss the exams because she'd signed in too late.
