Wally's phone buzzed and he flipped it open as a new text came in. He nudged Julian as they left the scene in the hallway.
"All right! Achilles says he'll meet us there."
"Cool, there's some others from the team who're gonna be in the bleachers, too." Julian and Wally headed to Hero High's Basketball court. They met up with Joanne Cargill, Piotr Rasputin and Victor Stone.
"Booyah! West in the house!"
"Hey Vic! How's it going, guys?"
"Pretty good. C'mon, we've got seats in the first row of bleachers. Football privilege." Wally and the rest of the football players had a seat, Wally leaving a space for Achilles when he showed up. The Legion of Substitute Cheerleaders ran out to the sidelines.
"WE'VE GOT SPIRIT, YES WE DO, WE'VE GOT SPIRIT, UM....YES WE DO!"
Wally groaned. They were TERRIBLE. He was glad Cassie wasn't here to see the subs embarrassing Hero High as Monster High's Fearleading Squad came out to their side of the bleachers and started warming up.

" I'm not sure. Quite possibly... I guess we'll find out"
Cassie landed outside the stadium and put Achilles down as well. They walked in and Cassie looked down and saw Wally with the football team.
" There he is..'
After buying some nachos and cheese from a vendor the brother and sister walked down to see Wally. Then Cassie looked at the subs... they were TERRIBLE.
" What are they doing?!"
Vic looked over at her.
" Hey Cass! Wally was just saying it was a good thing you weren't here..."
Before Vic could say another word Cassie lifted up an eyebrow.
" Oh was he? "
Vic then shut up feeling some tension as Cassie sat next to Julian who just whispered over to him.
" Wally just knew you would hate the subs...'
" Oh.... sure I'm not intruding?"
" Not at all"
Julian tried putting an arm her when Cassie gave him a cold stare and he stopped.

Billy's mom, Rebecca, looked at the scene before her; the rain in the hallway, a boy hanging upside down... Ssighed and set her hand on her hip, shaking her head with a faux smile of annoyance.
"Let me guess. Spell gone wrong?"
Billy's jaw dropped.
"Why am I always the one to get blamed!?"

"M-O-N-S-T-E-R! FIGHT ON, WIN IT, SO BIZARRE!"
The Monster High Fearleading squad was totally trouncing Hero High's subs, who somehow managed to accidentally set their pom-poms on fire, even though no one on the team had fire powers. Wally facepalmed and tried not to look as the referee shot the squad with a fire extinguisher. Thankfully, the teams were introduced next, putting the Substitute Squad's humiliation on the back burner.
"Introducing for Monster High, the Monster High Maulers! Team Captain, Clawd Wolf."
The Monster High teens came out, wearing black, white and purple uniforms. They dribbled around and took shots as the Hero High fans booed.
"And now, your Hero High Starmen! Team Captain, Jack Knight!"
The boos melted into cheers as the Starmen took the court!

Achilles murmured as he looked at the banner on the school gymnasium wall amidst the crowd.
Interesting name for a school. I..."
Achilles sees the man selling popcorn and the smell of the buttery goodness has the big man's mouth watering and he does a U-Turn and follows...

As Jack Knight, David Knight, Mikaal Tomas, Courtney Whitmore, Will Peyton and Prince Gavyn, Hero High's own team of Starmen took the court, Wally saw Cassie sitting on the other side of Julian.
"Cassie!" Wally got up and elbowed past the rest of the team to have a seat by her. "I thought you were in Aspen!"
On the court, the referee took the ball to prepare for the face-off. Monster High's center man had green snakes for hair and was wearing sunglasses. Hero High's center man was blue with bright red hair. The ref tipped the ball in the air and Hero High took control!

The power of a mother's words... as Rebecca's scolding breaks the spell and Chris is dropped...right atop of Billy in a tangled mess of arms and legs!
"C'mon Chris! Don' you guys want to go to my folks' place for the school break!?"

Cassie looked Wally.
" I was with Achilles when you texted him and he said he wanted to see you and I wanted to see you to. I'm sorry if I'm intruding on your guys night out... Nachos?"
Offers Wally some of her nachos with cheese.

"No intrusion! It's awesome you're here! I thought you and the rest of the cheerleaders would want to totally forget about Hero High for a while." Wally grabbed a handful of nachos and chowed down. The crowd booed as Monster High's cyclops scored a 3-pointer. "Aw, man. I shoulda tried out for the basketball team. But they seem to have some really picky criteria for who they let join."
Wally ignored a few kids in the rows behind them pointing at him and Cassie and whispering.

Goes to the popcorn vendor and hands him a hundred dollar bill.
" He'll take all of it and keep the change"
The vendor gave Achilles all of the popcorn and Cassie went back over to the group and sat next to Wally.
" You don't want to overload yourself with extra-curriculars. Speaking of which... Achilles when is our next wrestling tournament?"
