Someone created a livejournal just to post a comment on my blog and threaten me with their invisible friends. LITERALLY.
They got the incredible urge to pay for a new account so that they could try to make me feel bad. This is flamboyantly stupid for many reasons: anonymous comments don't make me feel bad, especially not if I'm right. Then they gave me a sob story to try to shame me into recanting my statement. Then threatened to sic their community on me. And they PAID for the pleasure of it.

Healthy attitude, Roy. I find this situation bizarre because it was spawned by an off comment I didn't think twice about when I typed it. And now someone is paying for some high-fangled account so they look credible when they tell me their efriends are going to beat me up.
I feel like I'm stepped back into high school in some weird time warp...

Reminds me about that petition that was going around a couple years back with a bunch of angry GL fans who were threatening the writer because he got rid of Hal and put in Kyle.

I've heard of that! There's a lone guy out there somewhere too who made a hate comic about the guy who wrote Sonic the Hedgehog because he killed off Sally. When Sally was brought back, the guy said it was all his doing because the writer was afraid of him and he singlehandedly brought Sally back.
