Mia picked up a light vampire scent. She sniffed the air, rolling her eyes. This wasn't the best time for her to be getting wrapped up in something. She had gone through too much the last couple of days. All she wanted was to get some rest. She picked up her pace, about to take a run for it and disappear. The streets were looking familiar as she walked quickly forward. Gaijin's place wasn't that far away.

He placed back the gun, almost forgetting the blade was out. He jumped a building, wincing with the pain and landing a few hundred feet away from Mia. He looked back one more time and then forward, leaning against the edge of the building and using it's side to push him forward, catching the next building and pulling himself up.

Mia sniffed the air again picking up Quinn's scent. She slowed her pace down, glancing around slightly. Slowly she walked up to Gaijin's apartment door, knocking on the door while looking around.

He dropped down lightly beside her, leaning against the wall and sheathing the weapon. He turned his head and smiled to her. "Hey there."

Gaijin's eyes went to the door as he heard someone knocking and he wondered who in the hell it could be. He went to the apartment door and unlocked it, grabbing his katana as he went and going downstairs to the door. He unlocked it and looked outside to see Mia. Oh it's you Mia. I wasn't sure who it would be. Come on in. He opened the door for her.

She jumped, about to hit him, but stopped. "I'm sorry! I'm very shaky today." She took a deep breath and smiled at him. "I knew you were nearby, just wasn't sure how close. How are your burns doing?"
Then she heard the door open and grabbed Quinn, pulling him over towards the door. "Quinn too." She stepped in slowly, glancing around.

Gaijin looked over towards Quinn. Ah I didn't see your boyfriend there. Alright, come on in. Logan's asleep, so no yelling please. He opened the door wider, waiting for them to step through and closing the door behind them. He led them up the stairs to the apartment and motioned towards the couch. Logan's sleeping form occupied the bed, and he didn't want to wake her.

He quickly reddened. "Boyfriend? Ah, I..." he was then pulled and quieted down with the warning. "Alright..."

Mia took her cloak off, pushing her curly hair off of her face. She glanced over at Quinn and shrugged. Following Gaijin upstairs, she sat down on the couch, resting her elbow against the arm and propping her head up. "How have things been?" She whispered, afraid to wake Logan.

He moved his arm, feeling a phantom pain in the limb from the two times he'd been shot in that arm in the last few days. He sat down in a chair near the couch so that Quinn could sit with Mia. Well, things have been hectic, what can I say? How about you two lovebirds? Things getting along with the two of you? Atleast I haven't found you naked in an alleyway again.

He sat next to Mia, getting more uncomfortable as he glanced at Logan and then back at Gaijin. "Lovebirds? What? Alley? Oh...um...I had passed out...and uh..." hee blushed deeper and then looked at Mia for help.

"I haven't had time to get naked again." Mia smiled, blushing some. She laughed slightly at how red Quinn was getting. "Oh, us lovebirds have been doing fine." She grabbed Quinn's hand, winking playfully at him. Her attention went back to Gaijin and she started acting serious.
"It's been very crazy the last few days. I don't understand why everyone is fighting suddenly. Some vampire shot me in the chest a couple nights ago. She's going to pay for that. I'm still unclear what happened earlier. All I remember is hitting someone with the car I was riding in then Quinn having burns all over his back." Rubbing her temple slightly, she let out a small yawn. "You and Logan running into the same problems as us?"

He heard her first few words and laughed some, immediately looking down really fast. He then grinned and slipped an arm around her shoulder, pulling her closely. "Yeah, been a dreadful few days. That bomb...yeah, throwing bombs might save some people, but it sure ripped up my back..." he said quietly, remembering Kin's betrayal.

Mia looked at Quinn, furrowing her brow in confusion. "You threw the bomb? Why? But..." She blinked a few times, not understanding what was going on.

"W-well...while I was trying to gaurd the car that...killed Paglionna and his daughter, protecting you, I stopped and turned to get Kin and missed. He instead dropped off the bomb with a five second timer. In five seconds, I attempted to throw it as far from the center of the city as possible. Luna should actually be pretty much rubble. I ducked behind a building, and the fire that erupted from the bomb incinerated my back. I had just enough adrenaline to carry me to...you." he explained quietly, shifting his gaze every now and then.
