"Can I hold him?" Bakura asked almost meekly, patting Kek's head. Just then, the door opened, and Bakura looked up, growing tired of all these intrusions. Marik was using Ryou's hair practically as a leash, having twirled a lot of it around one hand, which he would jerk suddenly. Ryou had some blood splattered on his front, and it was obvious he had been crying. Marik cast an irritated look around. "Hey, Was Khalid here?"

"yea he left. If you find him please kill him" rei said handing kek over to bakura "of corse you can hold him he's your son"

Bakura held Kek carefully, then glanced up when he realized Marik was still in there. His eyes narrowed, and he glanced over at his lookalike. He remembered the two times Rei had had him help the kid out. "Let the kid go, would you?"
"What?" Marik had stayed for a little bit to try and think of where Khalid would be, when Bakura spoke up. "You mean Ryou?" He glanced at the boy, then at Bakura, and shrugged. "Whatever." He let Ryou go, and turned to leave, striding quickly out the door.
"Hmph. I get you out of one kind of trouble, you get yourself into more. What is it about you?" Bakura asked sarcastically, looking down at Kek, cradling his child carefully.

kek cooed reaching up and touching his fathers face.Femi giggled it rei's arms and rei smiled kissing her nose.

Ryou was silent and Bakura rolled his eyes, continuing to play with Kek.

Ryou was quiet, wiping at his cut lip for a moment before looking towards the door. He didn't know for sure, but what if Marik were still out there? No, he probably wouldn't be. Marik probably knew that Ryou wouldn't try to run away, not with Kira being in the hospital, and thought that he would be a bother when he found Khalid. That was probably why he had let him go so easily. Ryou knew Marik would be back at some point, and when he did come back, he didn't want to put Kai in danger. Ryou bit his bottom lip, shaking his head. "No, I can't..." Bakura rolled his eyes again, making a 'tch' sound.

"Hey, I never said I thought I was going to be a bad father. I thought I was just not going to be a good one. There was still room for 'okay' in there, you know." Bakura pointed out, rocking Kek slightly. "Say, kid, if you're just going to stand around like an idiot, lock the door. I'm sick of people walking in as they please." Ryou jumped slightly at being spoken to, then nodded slightly and went over to the door, locking it. "Hmph. You're too damn twitchy. Seriously, what the hell is it with him? I had to watch my whole village being killed and you don't see me acting like you." "I had to kill and eat my family." Ryou said faintly, leaning against the door, closing his eyes. "It was just a mind game, but everything was still real in taste and feel. Bakura-- not you-- made me do it. So please, excuse me if I'm a bit nervous around you."

Ryou smiled, and Bakura gave him a very suspicious look. This kid was a freak. He glanced at the door when someone rattled the knob, and he scowled, glad that he had asked Ryou to lock the door. He looked over to Rei, still scowling. "Ask who it is-- in Japa-whatever the hell language it is." he said, in case it was someone who wouldn't understand him.

"Marik." Ryou said in response of the Egyptian behind the doors. His eyes had suddenly become very blank, an ominous sign of what must have happened. Silently, Ryou went over to the door, unlocking and opening it. Marik, indeed, stood there, twirling the Millennium Rod in his fingers. Ryou smiled, though his eyes were still rather dull, and didn't hesitate before stepping forward to embrace Marik.
"Hmph." Bakura might be slow to pick up on some things, but it would take an idiot of incalculable measure to not see what was going on. "Thought you'd do that. Oh, well. I take it from how quickly you returned it was not hard to find that so-called 'Khalid' and he easily gave you the Millennium Rod. Which also means you didn't kill him. In any case, you may get out now."
